How do i separate from a family plan

Hello,
As it normally happens, my girlfriend and I broke up and are on a family plan. She's the primary account holder on a family plan and I want to get my own plan. What would be the proper way to go about getting my own line and would I have to pay a cancellation fee?

If she is the primary account holder, she's the one stuck with the plan.  So...depending on your breakup, you keep her get stuck with the early termination fee.  However, she can claim that you died (trust me..it works) and then get you off her plan.
You can always start your own plan.

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
If your iCloud account uses your family's Apple ID, you will pay $20/year for all your family members. If your iCloud account uses a different Apple ID than your family's Apple ID, you will pay only for you

I need to remove a line from my family plan, how do i do it on the computer?

You can't cancel service on-line; you'll need to either call Customer Service or visit your local Corporate Verizon store.

  • How is data loaded from Infocube to Planning area - need technical info

I would like to find out how data is loaded from cube to planning area ,
I know that CUBE has tables, but how does that get loaded to planning area , where is the mapping from which I can compare
data in CUBE and the same data that reaches planning area.
Say for example I have below values in the infocube
    Prod1 --> Loc1 -
    > available provisioning qty
    AAA        AB90             100
Then where do i check in the planning area tables ( are there any tables mapped) after running the TSINPUT program, i know it can be checked in the planning book , but i want to check in planning area tables if they exi

    Hi ,
The data is loaded from infocube to planning area using update rules. The issue you have mentioned seems to be two requests are having data for the same CVCs in the cube.
Example: For the same CVC, two requests avilable in the infocube. When you copy the data using TSCUBE transaction, whatever data avilable in the cube for the CVC gets copied into Planning Area.
    CVC1 - cube - Old Request - 100
    CVC1 - cube - Actual Request - 200
CVC1 - Planning Area = 300 ( The value is supposed to be 200, but since the old request also contains data in the cube for the cvc, it gets copied as 300)
Issue : There might two request contains data for the same code
Solution : 1. Check the data in the cube using transaction LISTCUBE  2.  Delete old request and check the data agian. 3. If it matches with your requirement, run the TSCUBE again.
Please let me know if you need additional information.
    Thanks,

  • How to move from one family plan to another within Verizon?

My son currently is part of one family plan we have which is for non-smart phones.  It is a really old plan and a really old phone.  I also have another family plan (share everything) for my Galaxy S3 (no other people on that share everything plan yet).  Here is what I want to do:
    1) get him a new Galaxy S4 through Amazon
    2) put him on my share everything plan (share my data, and pay $40/mo for phone service)
    3) but keep his existing number.
Is that possible?  It does not seem possible using the Amazon online system.  When I try to add another line of service on my Share Everything plan and port his number, it says not possible to port from Verizon to Verizon.  Do I have to leave Verizon and go to ATT in order to port numbers?

You will probably have to call customer service and get their help transferring the line between the two accounts. Are both accounts listing you as the account owner?
If they have two different account owners you will probably have to do an Assumption of Liability instead.

  • How to delete an unused line from a family plan.

Hi, I'm just wondering which number I would need to call to delete a line from my plan. I had a family plan with a total of four lines on it. I am the account holder, and two of the lines were removed onto their own plan today. That leaves me and my brother as the only two lines on the family plan. I want to cancel his line (his contract is already up and he apparently lost his phone months ago and doesn't care to replace it) and start a plan by myself. I have tried calling the basic toll free number and I am switched back and forth among everyone I talk to, and the online chat is ALWAYS busy. I was just wondering if there was a way to do this from My Verizon or if there was a number I could call that would direct me to a department specifically dealing with these issues. Thanks in advance.

Cancelling a line has to be done in person or on the phone with customer service.  If you call the 800-922-0204 number, choose option 4 and then say "Agent" when prompted.  You should be connected to a live person in a couple of minutes.
Or you can visit a Verizon store.... they will, of course, try to talk you out of it, but just be firm.  You will likely have to change your plan from a shared to an individual plan, since you will be the only line left.

  • How many phones are eligible with family plan update?

If my family plan is eligible for an upgrade, how many phones (without paying full retail price) can we get by extending out two year contract?
Right now I am the only one with a smart phone, but we plan to add two more so want to get three the newer nicer phones.

Hi joycean716. I'm excited to hear so many of your family lines are considering taking the leap into new phones. Brian68 is right, each individual line has a separate contract and upgrade date. To see when each of your lines is eligible for an upgrade, log into My Verizon at www.vzw.com/signin as the Account Owner and select "Get Upgrade Status" from the My Device section of the home page. You can even order your new phones while you're logged in there.
    Thank you

  • Deleting lines from the family plan

    Hi,
I have a family plan on my name with 5 lines on it. One of the phones is IPhone and the other ones are simple call&text phones.
If I want to get rid of one of the lines, what are fees for that? I cant find it online anywhere. When I visited store the Verizon stuff were very obscure in information about canceling plans and lines, so I did not get precise info.
    Thanks!

Thanks a lot for the reply!
Is there something more on that on Verizon website? Is there a discount if I want to terminate the whole contract? I am not satisfied at all...
So you want a BETTER deal the more you cancel? Don't think so.
    From the Verizon website:
" If you cancel a line of Service, or if we cancel it for good cause, during its contract term, you'll have to pay an Early Termination Fee. If your contract term results from your purchase of an Advanced Device after November 14, 2009, your Early Termination Fee will be $350 minus $10 for each full month of your contract term that you complete. (For a complete list of Advanced Devices, check verizonwireless.com/advanceddevices.) Otherwise, your Early Termination Fee will be $175 minus $5 for each full month of your contract term that you complete. Cancellations will become effective on the last day of that month's billing cycle, and you are responsible for all charges incurred until then. Also, if you bought your wireless device from an authorized agent or third–party vendor, you should check whether they charge a separate termination fee."

  • Using a phone from a Family Plan to a Single Line Plan

I am currently on a Family Plan and looking to switch to my own Single Line Plan. I would like to use my iPhone 6 and the same number on the new plan. Is this possible?

You'd need to do an Assumption of Liability.  From this link:
My Verizon FAQs | Verizon Wireless
note # 2 under Assumption of Liability.

  • Using upgrade from another family plan

My family has 2 family plans. 1 with 4 phones and 1 with 3 phones. All under same account person. Although, 2 seperate bills. Question, can i use a upgrade from one of the numbers on the plan that I am NOT on?

Probably not directly.  The easiest way would be to just upgrade that line normally with your choice of phone, and then activate it on the line that used the upgrade briefly.  After that, they have accepted the new contract and can swap back to their old phone, freeing the new device to be activated on any Verizon line.

The price to buy out right as opposed to monthly is cheaper. Also keep in mind even if you take your phone in for repair yo ucan cancel the protection plan at any time and be reimbursed appropriately.
If you have used your GSP, you would not qualify for a refund of anything you've already paid for it. This is because the cost of even one Rapid Exchange replacement exceeds the price you paid for your 2-year protection.

  • Porting a Verizon number from a family plan to a different carrier

    Hello everyone,
Basically, I have a line with Verizon under a family plan, I am not the owner of that plan, but I am looking to port my number to T-mobile since I don't think that the price-service ratio is not fair for the mediocre service that I get.
I was wondering if I would be able to port my number even if I am not the owner of the family plan. I only have a few months left until the contract terminates, and I am willing to pay the ETF.
I also wanted to know if the owner would have to be involved during the porting process, since I would not like to bother the plan owner to complete this action.
Lastly, my billing cycle ends the 26th of each month, when do you think I should start the process in order to not pay the bill for the following month?
Thank you very much for your help, I greatly appreciate all your responses and I apologize in advanced for the amount of questions, but I am new to this and just want the entire process to go as smooth as possible.
    Thanks again.

  • Change from one family plan to another?

An ex-girlfriend who is on our family plan has been great about paying her portion of the bill is now thinking about moving out of state. If the people she is moving in with have Verizon can she switch family plans to theirs without penalty?

Simple answer is yes, You will have to agree for her to leave and that family needs to agree to add her. If they do not, she would have to get her own individual plan
