Go to the tools>pages and use extract pages. There are several options available.

    You don't.
Adobe Reader is a reader application. You can't use it to do editing.
If you have Adobe Acrobat on Mac or Windows, you can add pages.

Not possible. You need Acrobat for that.

How can I delete pages from a pdf file

    Hi timk,
None of the Acrobat.com online services allow you to edit a PDF file. But, in checking your account, I see that you purchased an Acrobat Standard subscription, and you can certainly use that to edit a PDF file.
Have you downloaded and installed Acrobat Standard? It sounds to me as though you may be opening the PDF file in Adobe Reader, rather than Acrobat. (Reader doesn't allow you to edit PDF files.)
If you haven't already, download and install Acrobat from https://cloud.acrobat.com/acrobat. Then, make sure that you're opening your PDF files in that rather than Reader, when you want to edit them.
Please let us know how it goes!
    Best,
    Sara

In Reader, you cannot. In Acrobat control-shift-D (Windows) or command-shift-D (Mac). If you tell us what version of Acrobat and your OS we can give you a gui way to do that, but it changed between versions 9 and versions 10.

  • How to detect color pages in a PDF?

    I am using a C++ Acrobat plug-in do read/edit a PDF file.
I need to get the total number of pages in the PDF as well as the page numbers of color pages.
So far I have been able to get the total number of pages using PDDocGetNumPages() without any trouble.
However, I cant seem to find an API that lets me know whether a particular page is color or not. Is there a way to do this?
    Thanks in advance!

But what if there is RGB data that means black or gray (R == G == B), does that mean black or RGB?
There is some sample code in the SDK for iterating over the content in the PDF, and then you can get the colorspace and the color of each object.
But you really need to do some background research on colors & colorspaces to properly achieve this goal.

  • How do I insert pages from one PDF into the current PDF in Acrobat X?

I just upgraded from Acrobat 8 to Acrobat X.
How do I insert pages from one PDF into the current PDF in Acrobat X pro?  I was able to do this from the Edit menu in Acrobat 8 pro.  Appreciate instructions.  Thanks.

    Hi chemadberk,
In my Acrobat 8 Pro, Insert Pages is under the Document menu but anyway...
In Acrobat X, click on the Tools pane(upper right side) then navigate to Pages- the Insert Pages commands are located there.
    Hope this helps,
    Dimitri

  • Jumping to First & Last Pages of a PDF Doc.

I am using Acrobat 9 Pro with Windows XP Pro. In Acrobat 8 Standard, I was able to jump to the first or last pages of a documents without have to use the page navigation arrows. Can I jump to the first and last pages of a PDF doc. in Acrobat 9 Pro? If the answer is "yes", how do I install that feature on my toolbar?

If you don't want to use the navigation arrows, have you simply tried ctrl-home and ctrl-end. Keyboard shortcuts often save a lot of time. I watch folks trying to bring up the little display in PPT a lot, rather than simply using F5 or shift-F5. For some folks, I am not sure they remember what a keyboard is.

  • How to create a page break in PDF output

    Hi there
Does anyone know how to create a page break in the PDF output when using the EXPORT TO PDF command?
I can create a page break using the page-break-after/before HTML stylesheet command, but this is not "interpreted" when the PDF is generated, and I am required to print each table in my web template on a new page.
Please ... been searching for ages for a solution to this and can't find anything.
    Cheers,
    Andrew

  • How do I add pages to a pdf file?

    I am new to iMac.
I am used to using Adobe Acrobat for Windows to create pdf files. In Acrobat, when you scan a page, you have the option to add the page to an existing pdf file.
I know how to use the Scan feature on Print & Fax to create pdf files on the iMac.
I can not figure out how to make a pdf more than one page (unless I use the document feeder to scan in a multiple pages at once.) When I use the flat bed scanner, I can not figure out how to scan another page into the same file.
I also can not figure out how to add another page to an existing pdf file.
It does not appear Adobe Acrobat is available for the Mac, just Adobe reader. If it was, I would just buy that.
Does anyone know how to do these two things, or a program that can?
    Thanks,
    -Lee

    Without any problems? Ever?
You mean it didn't take over your printing system and force you to use it?
It didn't break print to PDF functionality?
It didn't install a bunch of software you didn't want and then promptly abandon half of it?
It doesn't report an error if you try to remove the software that Adobe disabled 4 minutes after you bought it?
It doesn't continually ask you to register your software and continue to ask no matter how many times you register?
It doesn't continually tell you there are Adobe RAW updates that you need to install, even though you don't use that and don't want it, and tell it to ignore.
It doesn't report an error when you give up and tell it to install the Adobe RAW update?
Acrobat contains features that are useful and very much needed in a desktop publishing environment.
As do many other competing programs. Apple Preview can generate perfectly good PDFs and is more than adequate for the vast majority of users. PDFClerk can do things Acrobat could never dream of.
I have no experience of Acrobat Reader on the Mac so I can't comment on that.
I do, so I will comment. It is slow, bloated, and very poorly written software. It must be updated weekly due to cross-platform security flaws that are actively being exploited. Even if you do install it to use some Adobe-only feature, you may wind up having to run Acrobat in Windows because the Mac version's output is so bad.
All of the items I've listed here are just my personal experience. If you want more, just use the Apple Discussions search feature. Unfortunately, I haven't found an adequate replacement for Photoshop, so I still have that installed. Preview, however, is much better than Adobe Reader.

  • How to print all pages of a pdf to jpeg images?

    Hi there,
How can i print the pages of a pdf file to jpeg or any other image format?
i have a pdf file and adobe acrobat 9 pro. i cannot export as jpeg as there is lock in the pdf file, i want it to be saved as image by printing it.
could anyone help me. do i need to install any additional software to get this done?
    please let me know.

Normally you would use the Save As with TIFF or JPeg (I think AA9 now has an export option). If those are greyed out, then it is likely that no copying is set in the security and there is nothing you can do with Acrobat directly to get what you want. In directly, just print to paper and scan back in. As I said, the print permission will still not work with graphics or PDF output if the security for no copying or changing is set -- an obvious attempt to get around the security from the program viewpoint.
