How do you set the font color for a specific entire row inside a JTable?
How do you set the font color for a specific entire row inside a JTable?
I want to change the font color for only a couple of rows inside a JTable.
I've seen some ways to possibly do this with an individual cell.
Clarification on changing the font color in an individual cell would be helpful too if
there is no easy way to do this for a row.hai,
Try out with this piece of code.Create your table and assign the renderer to each column in the table.
CellColorRenderer m_CellColorRenderer = new CellColorRenderer();
for(int i=0;i<your_JTable.getColumnCount();i++)
your_JTable.getColumnModel().getColumn(i).setCellRenderer(m_CellColorRenderer);
class CellColorRenderer extends JLabel implements TableCellRenderer
CellColorRenderer()
setOpaque(true);
setHorizontalAlignment(LEFT);
setVerticalAlignment(CENTER);
setBackground(Color.white);
setForeground(Color.black);
protected void setValue(Object value)
setText((value == null) ? "" : value.toString());
public Component getTableCellRendererComponent(JTable table,Object value,boolean isSelected, boolean hasFocus, int row,int column)
if(isSelected == true)
setForeground(Color.red);
else
setForeground(Color.black);
setValue(value);
return this;

Does anyone know how to set a calendar alert at a specific time on the day of the event.
So that the alert date adjusts accordingly if you were to copy and past it to another date.
The custom alert function kind of does this, but because it is an absolute alert (not relative) it will still refer to the date you initially set it to when you copy and paste it to another date. So this creates more work where you would have to go and manually change all the custom alerts. I have potential
Anyone know how to set this kind of calendar alert?
Thanks in advanceGreetings: Set the alarm to message you (on your screen) and then snooze it every day for 15 days, or, set 15 separate alarm messages. There is probably an AppleScript somewhere on the web too, try searching that way as well.

Error Message for a Specific Table Cell
Hello All,
I created a table were one column is defined as an input field. This field needs to be validated against certain rules. When validation fails, I want to highlight just the cells that are in error. The way I have it coded now, when validation fails, all the cells under that column show as if there is an error in all the cells even though only one cell is in error.
Below is the way I have it coded. This method is performed in a loop, so the element has the index number.
Thanks in advance for all your help.

I do not see the checkbox that says "Mark as question".
The only thing I see different on the main thread and the responses is the radio button solved on my own.
I can send you a screen shot of what I see if you wish.
Regarding the solution you suggested. It works fine. The problem now I am getting is that if I click on a blank cell, the messages below the table are displayed multiple times, but still referring to the one cell that is in error.
Any ideas?
Thanks,

How do I set the thumbnail image of my videos that export to my computer? I'm using Premiere Elements 11 on a windows 8.1 PC 64bit.
Or how does Premiere 11 determine where to set the image for the video it is exporting?
I already know how to use Freeze frame and save the image to my computer by Publish+Share/Computer/ Immage.
Thanks,
MikeMike
This is not Adobe. Rather user to user. We are all visitors here.
Just a bit of history....back in the days of Premiere Elements 4, you could set a "poster frame" in what was called the Project area. You did this by right clicking a blank area there and, from the drop down menu that appeared, selecting View/Preview Area, and using the poster frame feature there.
As I said, when a video imports into Premiere Elements, the thumbnail of the import has been presenting as the first frame of the video. With this Preview area "poster frame" option, you could set the video's thumbnail in the Project area so that the first frame was another frame in the video. But, this "perk" was restricted to thumbnails of the video in Project area.
If you exported to file with the first frame modified video, the export's thumbnail in Windows Explorer would present with other than the real first frame or the poster frame as the first frame.
Also, in more recent versions, I have observed that the export to file does not display the real first frame of the video in Windows Explorer. Seems random, but I have not kept track.
And, remember, at the onset I wrote
As far as I have ever seen, Premiere Elements Windows uses the first frame of the video for its thumbnail in the program.
I know of no way within Premiere Elements to control what the program opts to do in this matter. In some compatibility
issues, it opts to give no image but a generic one.
I did not say that you can expect to have the Premiere Elements' export file's thumbnail in Windows displaying with its real first frame. And, the more you get into this, depending on the versions, more details need to be added to my comment about "...first frame of video for its thumbnail in the program..."
I would have to look into all this further to get perspective on the contributing factors.

Add On...The Poster Frame feature appeared in versions 4, 7, 8, and 9 by my count. -
Setting a "master" image for an album in Coverflow?
Hello all,
Here's one I've been struggling with for some time.
I tend to master all the tracks and images that go into my iTunes myself, and whenever possible I'll try to have as many images from the album art as I can - at least one for each track from the album. The rub is that iTunes seems to randomly select one of these as the "master" image for Coverflow, and I can't tell it to do otherwise. Just now I was working with an album that's 8 tracks long, and I pasted the first image (which is the actual cover) in the box for the first track. The image dutifully appeared in Coverflow. Then, I pasted the second image in the box for track 2, and the Coverflow image was replaced. Pasted the image for track 3, and the Coverflow image stayed on track 2. It stayed on track 2 all the way to the 8th track. I then went back and re-pasted them in different orders, trying different iterations, and it always stubbornly stayed on the image for track2.
As I said, it does this randomly, and sometimes it defaults back to the first image after a while. Often it doesn't, and so I'm stuck with a random image from inside the CD booklet as the "cover" in iTunes.
So the question is simple: is there any way to set a "master" image for an album in iTunes, so that it will appear whenever the album is displayed rather than the image from a particular track?
Also, out of context, is there any way to export just a playlist and its associated information and artwork? Say I've copied a specific playlist's audio from one computer to another and I don't want to go through the tedium of re-entering all the album details and cover art. There seems to be no way to export all that so it can be re-associated with audio files on another system. Am I mistaken? How would I go about doing that?
Thanks much in advance.If by "default value" you mean you want to automatically infer the value of an attribute (which appear to be what the custom function is doing) then you can just write a rule to do that.
e.g. to infer the value "0" for the attribute "the minimum tax rate", you use the rule:
the minimum tax rate = 0 -
How do you set up Port Forwarding for ARD 2.2 in AEB N?
Help,
I'm a novice at Apple Remote Desktop (ARD) - not an IT guy, so it has to be pretty basic and detailed.
How do you set up Port Forwarding for ARD 2.2 on the Apple Airport Extreme BS router, 802.11 N. I have one at each end of the internet connection. At one end I have an Airport Extreme N router with 2 macs and eventually 1 windows XP machine (if I can) that I would like to be able to connect to over the interenet (the clients) and at the other end, I have a Mac with ARD 2.2 installed also with an Airport Extreme N router. Note: Both routers use Static IP addresses and all computers use static IP's internally not through DHCP. What are the settings or directions to do this.
I have read and printed out the directions for Configuration of ARD 3.0 that are posted many times in the ARD discusion group, but it uses a Linksys router ( http://www.starkpr.com/ard.htm posted by Dave Sawyer). The Mac router is different, particularly with the place to set a Private IP address. I'm not sure about alot of things, but especially about the Private IP address, what number do I set it to, the one that is in my Network connections list? It automatically changes to a different number in AE N setup for Port Forwarding (by one) as if it is not suppose to the same?????
Are there any directions available that are as straight forward for the Airport Extreme N router, as the one's that are listed here for the Linksys Router's? ( http://www.starkpr.com/ard.htm )
Any and All help will be greatly appreciated.
P.S. I know I should have 3.0 but bought 2.2 just weeks before 3.0 came out and they would not give me an upgrade price, so I'm waiting for 4.0 to upgrade.
Thanks,

How can i set the alternating colors for a table rows
Dear All,
Please any one help me how can i set the Alternating colors for Table Rows.
i created a theam there i set the background alternating color to brown and i set the table design properity to alternating. but it is not reflecting.Hi,
The design property in Table properties should work for your requirement. Select "alternating" value for design.
Please see the API below:
design
Determines the appearance of the table. The property design can take the following values and is represented by enumeration type WDTableDesign.
alternating - The table rows are displayed alternately in a different color.
standard - The table background has one color. The individual table rows are displayed with grid net lines.
transparent - The table background is transparent. The individual table rows are displayed without grid net lines.
Check whether you have changed the right property or not? Also table should contain more than one rows to test this scenario.
Regards,
Jaya.

How can I set up my Mac for two users to share photos, music etc
How can I set up my Mac for two users to share photos, music etc?
On the Mac with the libraries you want to share:
iTunes Preferences click on the Sharing tab and put a tick in 'Share by library on local network'.
iPhoto Preferences click on Sharing and put a tick against 'Share my photos'.
When launching the same apps on other Macs on the network the libraries should be available, listed on the left. -
How do I set the aspect ration for 4:3 or for 16:9?
How do I set the aspect ration for 4:3 or for 16:9 in Adobe PE12?
PulcinellaNM
What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 12 running on? Have you updated from 12 to 12.1 Update via a project's Help Menu/Update? If not, please do so. That is all background information for now.
As for the question that you are posting....
I think we need to go a lot deeper into what you are doing. Here are some considerations
The aspect ratio setting is in the import settings. In Premiere Elements 12 Expert workspace, the project automatically sets the project preset based on the properties of the first video file that you drag to the Expert workspace Timeline. If your video's properties include a 16:9 flag, then the project settings will have a 16:9 flag (aspect ratio). If you do not want the project to set the project settings automatically, you can set the project settings yourself manually with File Menu/New/Project and then import your source video.
If a problem exists where imported 16:9 video is presenting in Premiere Elements as 4:3 instead of 16:9 (typical of the JVC .mod file issue), then you can set the pixel aspect ratio under Interpret Footage feature inside the project workspace.
At this point, I think it best for you to give more details and background behind your question so that we can be sure that we are giving you the information that you need to succeed in your projects.
If you need clarification on anything written, please do not hesitate to ask for clarification.
Thank you.

How can I set up anApple ID for my 9 years old. Every time I try it tells me he is bolew the min age. If this is the case how can he download free games and how can he redeem his birthday $30 iTunes card? I dont want him to use my ID as it has my credit card details.
I'm very fustrated with this as it seems the Apple kit is for 13 years and older only.
Cheers
BradThat's great your 9-yr-old is responsible enough to handle an iTouch!
There's no way around the age limit. I suggest a family account that you, an adult, control. -

How do you set the default magnification for Acrobat. All documents that I open enlarge to 174% and are too big. I see how to change the size after the document is open by going to File/properties/initial view and saving this setting. I want all documents to open at 100% when they are first opened. Can I set this as a default view?
Hey Kris,
You might go to Edit> Preferences> Zoom
Do this without opening any particular PDF so that it applies to the program itself and not just one document.
Try this and then let me know.

How do I set the default folder for file - open file... ?
When I save a file, photo, etc., the default folder for OPENING a file becomes the last folder I SAVED to - even after closing and reopening Firefox. Is there a way to maintain the same default folder for opening files?
Thanks.Originally posted by: kwarner.uneedspeed.net
Well... I found over 200 bugs none of which seemed to talk about setting
the default folder. I probably missed the relevant bug in the spew.
I ask a question here as a last resort -- after I've done what I think
is an appropriate search for answers.
But thanks for your help in any case.
