Do you mean Windows Live mail, the email account provided by Microsoft? Or WIndows Mail the application? If the latter, then you need to specify what email service you're using, since the application you use on your computer really doesn't matter. How do I set RH7 windows to resize according to topics?

This seems like an obvious one, but maybe most of my questions do. Is there a way to set the windows in RH7 to resize automatically depending on the topics? For what it's worth, I agree with Colum in that it wouldn't be a good practice from the end user standpoint.
However, if you are producing WebHelp, you could accomplish some of it using JavaScript. It would be a bit tortuous and probably require tweaking the script for each topic to achieve the sizing you want. I like JavaScript to a point, but unless I *REALLY* wanted to accomplish it, I wouldn't go there.

My new Firefox ver 29 always starts maximized how do i set the window size and not maximized?

I had reinstall my Windows 7 (win 7 pro 64bit)
so i had to reinstall firefox as well, installed ver 27 and updated it to version 29
now when i start firefox it will start maximized and i want to set the window size when it starts,
why the size of the window will not change and it will start maximized all the time?

How do I force OSX to stop reopening applications after restart

I can't find any options to stop my mac from reopening apps after restart. I hate it so much when it gets slow, I restart it and it starts opening my browser, photoshop and everything else. Sometimes it even opens apps that I have closed before. How do I get it to stop doing this?

What do you have set to open at login in your System Preferences > Users and Groups > Login Items?

How do I set the window size of a course in SumTotal (LMS)

I recently created an AICC course using Captivate 5.5 for a client using SumTotal as their LMS. When the client loads the course, the course launchs in a window that is smaller than the course itself; the user then has to adjust the window size to view the entire course. I have read on various posts that this cannot be controlled by myself through the .htm file settings, and that this has to be set within the LMS.
So my question is: Where and how does the client set the course window size within SumTotal? Does anyone know?!

No, edit the html files that come with Captivate. Either hand edit the
html file that is produced every time you publish, or locate the files
in the Captivate 5 directory and customise them to suite your needs.

I have let the Mac OS-X software update run (Java and a few other things), and now when I want a finder window by clicking on the smiling blue face or with command-N, I get a stripped window with only the volumes but no tool bar nor the folders short cuts. How can I restore the full window by default? I can still get the whole window set from the menu bar or with a 3 keys command, but I don't remember where I can set that to be the default window... thanks!

How do I set new windows to open my homepage, but new tabs to open blank?

I have my browser set to restore the previous session when I open Firefox, and new tabs to open blank. With these settings, I used to be able to open new windows and have my homepage load, while keeping the behaviors previously mentioned intact, but when I open a new window now, I get a blank page.
Is there any way to restore the previous behavior, or are all tabs now seen as the same now, whether they're opened as part of new windows or existing windows?

You can test immediately by pressing Ctrl+t or clicking the "+" button.

How do I set Finder windows to fit

in Finder I prefer to use Column view. Previously I could auto-size the columns by double-clicking the two small verticle lines at the bottom of the column separators. Now in v10.7.3, this action only reduces the column width to a predetermined size that shows only portions of file names. I've also tried using control-Click on the same place and this does open a box with 3 options:
          Right size this column
          Right size all columns individually
          Right size all columns equally
My choice is the 2nd, to right size all columns individually, and it seems to work. So the rub? As you move focus to a different folder, all settings are forgotten. Worse, sometimes repeating the command doesn't appear to do anything.

Interesting. I did not know you could do that. I had to try it, of course. I found that the double-click method correctly sizes the columns. I am using 10.7.3. So, presumably, there is a way to reset things so that it works properly on your computer as well.

Does Windows Live give POP access?
Older Hotmail accounts would work if you installed the HttpMail Plugin. But if you're account is new (less than a few years old) it may not.

Perhaps rephrase the question. It's unclear what you mean by 'setting' the three icons. If you're just talking about listening for close events and the like, you need something like this..

then download bootcamp beta from apple, install, run , partition and make a cd driver, then reboot and install windows.

How Do I Set up Windows 7 to Use Aero Theme?

Can someone give me some pointers here? Is it possible to modify the Unattend.xml to load the Windows 7 Aero theme or do it with MDT/SCCM? Every time I install/Deploy Windows 7, the Windows 7 Basic theme keeps loading? I have to
go in and manually change it to Windows 7 Aero. I have tried GPOs they don't seem to work.

I have used the following in oobeSystem pass:

You need to specify a theme name. You can name it anything you want, but don't give it a name of one that already exists in the Personalization panel. You do not need to specify a WindowColor. I'm not sure if you can also leave out the DesktopBackground item.
Try it out.
