How do I set the active configuration back to default in NI MAX?

In the traditional NI-Daq menu of NI-MAX, I inadvertantly changed the active configuration away from the default, in which I had already set up channels. How do I get back to the configuration where I had the channels already set up?
Thanks,
KHC

Hello KHC,
So you configured some channels and now you want to go back to the default configuration? There isn't an option to right click on the task to change it. You will have to open a new task or modify the current task.
If you had created a task, modified it, saved it, modified it again, and wanted to go back to the first modification, you could just close MAX without saving the task. When you opened it again, the first modification would be there. Please let me know if you have any questions. Have a great day!
Sincerely,
Marni S.

to do that, power off the printer and then press the Select button and power on, maintain the select button during start up.
But after that, I don't know how to setup a new IP adress

  • How do I set the SDRAM configuration (EBIU registers) for a custom blackfin target

I am attempting to deploy a simple Labview embedded program on a custom hardware platform that has a SDRAM memory configuration that is different from the BF537 EZLite board. When I start the application the EBIU is configured for the EZLite's memory configuration and I can't find how to change it. I have created a custom LDF file with the correct SDRAM memory size and included it in the project, but it seems to have no effect on the specific EBIU register that I need to have changed. Below is the value of the EBIU register after I deploy the code and folowing it is the correct value for my hardware.
308: EBIU_SDBCTL = 0x0025 // External Bus Interface Unit, SDRAM Bank Control Register
    308: EBIU_SDBCTL = 0x0013
My platform uses 1 - 16 bit wide SDRAM chip instead of 2 - 8 bit wide parts. (32 MB total SDRAM).

    Hi,
I think what you're looking for is in this file:
    C:\Program Files\Analog Devices\VisualDSP 4.5\System\ArchDef\ADSP-BF537-proc.xml
Make sure to back up this file if you plan to change it.

  • How do I get the activity bar back in Lion Mail 5.3

I  tried installing mountain lion unsuccessfully over Lion on my 27" imac (16 gb RAM) i7 quad core, 2012 model.  I couldn't do anything to make it load.  It would say installation finished but upon startup the grey screen with rotating circle never quit.  I finally gave up and restored it from time machine to Lion.  A couple days ago I decided to give it another try, this time with maverick with all the same problems.  Again another 2 days spend restoring to Lion but this time I had a lot of trouble with my mail not working when I got done.  After a lot of work-arounds I got it working except for one thing.  On the left side of my mail screen there is lists of all my mailboxes and at the bottom a little square labeled (Activity) and in that area I always get a blue bar showing the progress of an email being sent, and also the progress of one coming in.  I get the one coming in, but no bar for the outgoing mail and can't figure out how to get it to work.  I also never see the "outbox" listed when sending a large file anymore.  Anybody else see this and have an answer?  I thought about reinstalling mail but the Lion installer only has mail 5.0 and it's been updated to 5.3 so after using Pacifist to extract it, it won't restore.  I was wondering if the new mail 7.0 inside of Maverick would install in Lion?

There are many threads on this, some prefer the grey look, others like don't.
If you still have a backup of the old Aperture you can extract the colored icons from the Resources folder in the Aperture application package and exchange them, but this is a risky operationa nd you will have to do it over and over again, see this discussion:
Re: Have today loaded the 3.3 up date on Aperture. After the up date the colour of the Menu Bar and all icons showing projects / albums etc are now grey. Any thoughts on how to reestablish the colours.

  • How do I set the "request desktop site" as default?

At many sites I have to double tip in safari before the browser recognize the tip - this s****! After I request the desktop verison of this site, everthing is fine.
I.e. ebay.de is a very good example. Bye the way, I don't want to use the ebay app - there are too many restrictions in the search and filter feature compared to the desktop site.
The next advantage would be, that the google picture search and the displaying of pictures would better use the retina display resolution and would instantly show an accurate (hd) version of a picture and not the slushy low-res one.
    Thanks in advance

    1. If you use iCloud to synchronize Safari with a mobile device, you may be opening a bookmark to the mobile version of the site. Another possibility is that you're getting a Handoff activity from the device.
Remove everything from the URL except the domain name and try again. For instance, if the URL is something like this:
              http://www.example.com/mobile
    or
               http://mobile.example.com
    change it to this:
               http://www.example.com
    2. From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data...
    and confirm. Test.

  • How can I set programatically DAQ configuration?

I configured and saved my DAQ subsystem in a .daq file using NI MAX. Now I can set active configuration by MAX menu commands, Tools->NI-DAQ Configuration->Set Active Configuration, but the matter is I need to do it programmatically. My question is:
Is there any way to set DAQ configuration (i.e. to restore the DAQ configuration from the .daq file) programmatically ?
    Thank you in advance.

Unfortunately, there is no way to set the active configuration programmatically in LabVIEW. There is an ActiveX control in LabVIEW that allows you to manually change the configuration of MAX from within LabVIEW.
You can use the NiMax Viewer ActiveX control to configure your hardware directly in LabVIEW. You still must configure all settings manually, but you can do so in LabVIEW instead of launching a separate application (MAX).
To use the control, place an ActiveX container on the front panel. Right-click the container, select Insert ActiveX Object from the shortcut menu, select NiMax Viewer, and click the OK button.
This container gives you access to the configuration tree of MAX but you aren't able to get to the Tools menu option.
    Refer to the LabVIEW H
elp, available by selecting Help»Contents and Index (6.0) or Help»VI, Function, & How-To Help (6.1 & 7.0), for more information about using ActiveX containers.

  • Setting the dynamicRender configuration in Designer

    Hi,
I'm trying to generate a dynamic PDF using Livecycle Forms. According to the documentation the "RenderAtClient" parameter in Livecycle Forms is set to "auto" by default which means it "instructs the Form Server Module to observe the form design's dynamicRender configuration value".
How do I set the form design's dynamicRender configuration value? I suspect it's a checkbox somewhere in the Designer UI with a slightly different wording, but nothing there jumps out at me as being obviously the correct property to change.
If someone can point me to how you can set the dynamicRender configuration value in the Designer, that would be helpful.
    Regards,
    Rob

    Yeah, it belongs just below the <config> tag.  Here's an excerpt from an XDP I have here.  For your needs I think you'll only need the section I posted above, but if you have any trouble let me know and I'll look into it deeper.<br /><br />Chris<br />Adobe Enterprise Developer Support<br /><br /><acrobat><br />      <acrobat7><br />         <dynamicRender>required</dynamicRender><br />      </acrobat7><br />      <common><br />         <locale/><br />         <data><br />            <xsl><br />               <uri/><br />            </xsl><br />            <outputXSL><br />               <uri/><br />            </outputXSL><br />            <incrementalLoad/><br />            <adjustData/><br />         </data><br />         <template><br />            <base>F:\USERS\editedForPrivacy...</base><br />            <relevant/><br />            <uri/><br />         </template><br />      </common><br />   </acrobat>

When I open a download file for an application from Safari, it opens behind the active window.  How do I set the priority so that the download file window opens on top of the active window so I don't have to move a window to find it?

How are you opening it?  From the "download" list?

  • In EIC, how can we set the SLA of a subcategory to none SLA-related.

    Hi Experts,
This is our current setup in EIC...
Category 0501 has an SLA of 8 hours. Subcategory 050101 has to be none SLA relevant. But if we put zero or blank to the SLA Target Value field, it will automatically have a due date defaulted to today. If we will not indicate 050101 on the configuration, it will have the 0501 SLA of 8 hours.
How can we set the 050101 SLA off?
The path: IMG --> Personnel Management --> Employee Interaction Center (EIC) --> Interaction Center Web-Client --> Application Functions --> Activity --> Service Level Agreement (SLA) --> Define SLV Properties
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Harish and Jarret.
@Harish, I already tried unchecking the checkbox of the Display field but the problem with this is, it will also apply for the rest of the categories. It should only be for this specific subcategory.
@Jarret, apology, but can you explain to me further about your instruction/advise? I get the feeling that we're on to something with your advise but I didn't quite get it on how to exactly.
    1. You should build the SLA from the lowest level up...
-I'm not really sure how, actually.
    2. If you have 8 subcats... will put the 8 entries in the table...
-where do I put the 1 subcat? This is because if I don't put that "No SLA" subcat in the table, the due date of that specific subcat will automatically appear todayu2019s date.
Thanks for both of you. I really appreciate your help.

  • Hello, I have mistakenly deleted all partitions on my mac while trying to install windows on my macbook pro, how do i reinstall the mac os back

Hello, I have mistakenly deleted all partitions on my mac while trying to install windows on my macbook pro, how do i reinstall the mac os back. I just wanted to have them both, please help. thank you in advance

Install Mavericks, Lion/Mountain Lion Using Internet Recovery
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
Boot to the Internet Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND-OPTION- R keys until a globe appears on the screen. Wait patiently - 15-20 minutes - until the Recovery main menu appears.
Partition and Format the hard drive:
    1. Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
    2. After DU loads select your newly installed hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
    3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed. Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion. Mavericks: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks and click on the Install button. Be sure to select the correct drive to use if you have more than one.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet
if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

  • How do you set the original outbound message from MSG_WAIT_ACK to MSG_COMPLETE ?

We are using B2B & OSB to send out messages via eBMS protocol
So basically this are the two use cases
    1) EBusiness Suite => B2B => OSB=> Customer for the outbound Shipment Notices
    2) EBusiness Suite <= B2B <= OSB<= Customer for the Inbound acknowledgement
We are able to use standard B2B functionality to send out the messages using eBMS with https and client certificates
On the way back from the customer, we are using OSB that gets the raw data and the body gets sent to B2B
On the outgoing part a message gets created in B2B and is at MSG_WAIT_ACK
When the acknowledgement comes in, it comes as a seperate messgae in B2B and is at MSG_COMPLETE
How do you set the original outbound message from MSG_WAIT_ACK to MSG_COMPLETE?
We use JMS and have played around with jca.jms.JMSProperty.INREPLYTO_MSG_ID but that is not propagating to REFER_TO_MESSAGE_ID in B2B_BUSINESS_MESSAGE table
I tried using jca.jms.JMSProperty.CONVERSATION_ID as well but no luck
    Any response is highly appreciated!

Are you asking about your own JavaMail code or about somebody else's web-based mail agent?
If it's the latter (which is what it sounds like) then you find the checkbox in the preferences configuration, or whatever they call it, which says "Include original message in reply", or something like that. If such a thing exists, that is. If you're thinking that the e-mail message controls how their code formats replies to it, that's not how it works.
Even Outlook lets you configure how replies are formatted, the only difference is that the Outlook default is to include the original message and your web-based agent's default is to not include it.
