Another possible solution is to use a battery grip on your 70D and see if the dial on the grip will change the shutter speed.

How do I set my iPod's alarm volume separate from that of the other sounds?
First of all, I tried to post this to the iOS Apps community, but there doesn't seem to be one for the Clock app.
I wake up by the alarm feature on my iPod Touch, but sometimes the volume is turned down super low because throughout the day I have the volume in Settings>Sounds>Ringer and Alerts turned down while I teach. I did have the "Change with Buttons" turned on, but that seems to set the music volume the same, which I don't want (hearing a loud mail bing while listening to Bon Iver just isn't the mood I'm going for).
I think the simplest solution, and probably most obvious since many of us use our Clock's Alarm feature, is to have it's own volume somewhere like Settings>Notifications>Clock. Something like that. But I can't find it. And if there were options to turn off the sounds in Settings>Notifications>Mail - or any of the preloaded iOS software - that would work, too. But there's not from what I can see.
Has anyone found a workaround for this? How can I keep my Alarm volume without disturbing class all day with Mail and other notifications' sounds? I'd hate to find out that the "Most advanced iOS" still relies on me turning down the volume after I wake up and trying to remember it when I go back to sleep - both times when I'm too sleepy to think.This works on an iPod Touch, OS 6.1.6.
Basically you need to
- turn off "change with buttons" in Settings->Sounds->Ringer and alerts
- turn on "do not disturb" in Settings.
This way
- the lateral buttons will only affect the music sound;
- all notifications, lock, and unlock will be silent
- but the alarm overruns this, and can still be heard (at the same volume as the music was last left to, I presume).
So you can listen to Bon Iver withouth emails swooshing in and out, and you don't need to remember changing the volume before going to sleep and after waking up I have to say: pretty cumbersome to figure out, Apple! -
Or indeed is some other way possible, such as using an Applescript to detect when I am using my personal hotspot on my (limited data package!) 3g iPhone (via wi-fi or USB etc) and then switch off the automatic downloads until I revert back to my regular connection?

But I'd turn off automatic Updates anyway, & just check once a week or once a month to see what's available. -
I was recording the birth of my nephew my battery was low and so my phone turned off and didn't automatically save the video clip is there any way of retrieving that video footage or is it lost forever? :(
If it doesn't appear in the camera roll after charging the phone it is lost.

When an iDevice gets wet the First thing to do is Turn it Off... leaving it on is not good.
If you cannot Turn it off... go to your nearest Apple Store. -

What is a statement block, and how do I use it to display the text?This might work okay in .BAT but I don't think so much in Powershell. You are trying to do an IF ( ) statement, but you have no parameters after that.
A pancake of how an IF statement works in Powershell:
If (statement -like "True") { Script info if condition is true } else { script info if condition is false }
In your case, you need to test the path of Chrome to see if it exsists. I don't have Chrome installed, but I do have IE. You just need to change the path to where the Chrome.exe is installed.
ps - the Echo equiv in Powershell is Write-Host
$TestBrowser = Test-Path "C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe"

Similiarly, you don't need to use $TestBrowser in your If ( ) statement, you can just use the operational param $?, which should return true or false depending on the last error message. -

Be aware that "Freeze Header Rows" and "Freeze Header Columns" apply only to rows and columns that are Header rows or Header columns. You can have up to five Header rows, Five Header Columns (and five Footer rows) on a Numbers Table.
"Header rows" is a special designation. Besides being able to be frozen, Header and Footer rows are not included in formulas referencing whole columns, making it possible to place formulas such as =SUM(B) at the top (or bottom) of column B without causing a self-reference error, These designated rows are also not included in sorts of the rows in a table.

Once you have setup a MIDI Activity object (or keyboard objects) in Layout, create the required number of Instrument channels in Edit Mode.
Select each channel in turn, and choose "Keyboard": Multi-Timbral in the Channel Strip Inspector. In the pop-up choose the required MIDI channel.
