Well Roger , it may not be particularly difficult for you it is quiet clear that for several thousand people who managed to find the time to seek out help for these devices and programs that the manufacturer is unable or unwilling to provide it is at the very least "difficult"! If we are to tally up the amount of questions and inquiries posted on this one help site, I shudder to think of the size of the iceberg of inoperative functions and thus lost revenue to all those people , company's that like me have found things "difficult "! The can of worms gets more difficult as my main comp is an antique HP windows 7 on which I have installed Apple control panel ! Thus I get duplicate mail on an MSN Acc plus Hot mail that is still unable to decide if it wants to be known as "Outlook " or not? All the folders created by me for "HotMail " will show up with some persuasive tapping but will not allow the release to view their contents? If I click on "cloud mail" "no mail" message is shown! I can deposit info /file in Cloud mail "archive" but only if I navigate to " Mail box Accounts" first ? If I want to create a file , no facility seems to be available ? So info/files that warrant saving /filing are left flagged ,sloshing about in the InBox or stuffed into over burdened "Cloud Account!
I have tried to follow instructions in Apple Corp official instructions ,both I Pad and Cloud and am unable to locate the term "preferences" as no "Action pop up menu * has shown itself! thus I am unable click "Accounts" or "add an Alias" !
I must confess I have been very rude to the Micro Soft people in the past for my inability to grapple with their system , but now think perhaps I am the problem as Parkinson's will affect cognitive function?...... You don't need separate iCloud accounts if you want to simply sync unique content to each device using iTunes. I have three iDevices using one ID and one iTunes library and each device has it's own content on it. You need to set up the sync configuration for each device. This is what I recommend.
First turn off auto sync in iTunes. Launch iTunes on the Mac and go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices>Prevent iPods, iPhones and iPads from automatically syncing. Click OK and then quit iTunes.
Connect one of your devices to the Mac and launch iTunes.
Click on the device name on the left side under the devices heading.
Click on a tab in iTunes - Apps for instance.
Click on the Apps that you want to sync to that device.
Make sure that the Sync Apps heading is checked.
Follow the same procedure for all of the other tabs in iTunes ..... Music, Photos, Movies and so on.
After you have finished making all of your selections, click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes.
When you are done, eject the first device and do the same thing with the other device. iTunes will now remember the sync configuration on each device.
You can change that configuration any time that you like by following the steps outlined above.
If you want to continue to auto sync, turn it back on in the iTunes preferences as described above.

You need to ask your mail provider for the setup info. Usually it can be found on ther website in their help pages or the like for most email providers.
If its a known service like hotmail, or gmail, there are preset options for those that fill in the required server info.
If its a corporate email, the IT department should have this information.

Set up the first in the usual way. Set up the second one in System Preferences>Mail, Contacts & Calendars - this will be the 'secondary account' - this does not have 'push' email but checks the email periodically, and you can't use Photo Stream with it.
Note that any one device can create only three iCloud accounts.

How do I set up a new iCloud account

I changed my Apple ID because I have changed my IP and my previous address is no longer active. Thanks to some kind people on here I've resolved problems with apps etc but now have a problem with iCloud. It keeps asking for my previous log in details but then doesn't recognise them. From what I've read I need to set up a new iCloud account but can't find any info on how to do it. I can only find info on initial set up on new devices. Can anyone help? I ought to point out that I'm 60 with only average IT skills and I don't find Apple products intuitive no matter what the say!

I have an old iCloud account for my iphone and when I bought an ipad last year I used the same iCloud account. I now have no storage left and my iphone won't back up. I want to upgrade my iphone soon but don't want to lose all my photos, contacts, etc.

If it's stuck on verifying it's because she never responded to the verification email that Apple should have sent to the primary email address she used for the Apple ID she set it up with. She should check her inbox and spam/junk folder for this email and click on the Verify Now link to verify the account. If the email isn't there, she can go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right click Resend under her Primary Email Address to resend the verification email.
Or, you can just delete the account (which is a misnomer since until verified the account isn't really created).

To iCloud accounts on your phone, start by saving any photo stream photos you wish to keep to your camera roll (unless already there) by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tapping the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward facing arrow, then tapping Save to Camera Roll. If you are syncing any notes on your phone with iCloud that you want to keep, you'll need to open each one and email them to yourself so you can later copy and paste the text into new notes created in your new account. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password when prompted, then sign back in with the new ID. When you delete the account you will be prompted to keep or delete the current iCloud data from your phone. If you all your data is already in the other account, choose Delete from My iPhone. If you need to keep the data and merge it with the other account, choose Keep on My iPhone, then choose Merge to when you sign into the new account..
