How do i set up an iCloud account to work with existing hotmail account

So i have iphone 4s and a macbook and i want the email address that i used to have sync via fetching the data manually to work with icloud, I made an icloud account so that i could do this but now that and the other email account are seperate so nothing ever syncs, how can i just add my hotmail account to icloud to make it sync to my iphone automatically?

There is no way to setup iCloud on a PC, it must be setup first on a compatible Mac, iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.

Hi. This is my first time in this community, so hope I'm doing this right! I have a bt home hub2 and have just purchased a 2tb time capsule to go with my brand new iMac. Please help me to set up the tc to work with the bt home hub. I want to use the tc wireless capability and think I will have to set up a new network and switch off bt wireless, but I'm not sure. In UK BT generally use PPPoA authentication only so you will have to keep using the home hub as the main router. Put the Time Capsule.. TC.. in bridge mode. To do this go to the airport utility, on menu selection go to internet, and make sure it is set to ethernet for method of connection, and in connection sharing, select bridge. Then select update.. it will probably list some issues like password needing changing and access via wan etc .. almost all of which you can simply ignore.. as you are not using it in router mode.
The TC will save the setting and restart.. it will now exist as a wireless access point and switch on the network. The WAN is swapped to LAN, so there is no WAN port as such but it is still convenient to use WAN port marked <...> ethernet between home hub and the TC. Then setup wireless as you like. You can turn off the wireless in home hub, and just use the TC.. or use both, on different channels. That is no big problem. Set the security for the wireless is important and I would also manually set wireless channels and use different name for the 2.4ghz and 5ghz wireless. But just start and learn what you need to as you go along. Getting the basics working should be fairly easy. Some of the more complex stuff you just need to read carefully the instructions..

HT1178 How do I set-up my Time Capsule to work with my existing Wireless Router?

The existing wireless router is my connection to the Internet and I would like to keep it that way. I really want the TC to fuction as an external Hard Drive/Server, Backup Disc! The TC is where all my Music and Photos are located together with my Backups!
I have tried different configurations and I get it to work for a wile, but after a few minutes it will disappear from my Air Port Utility, a rescan will not bring it back, but if I unplug and then plug it back in it will reappear. However if the TC shows in Air Port Utility or not the TC still shows up on my Desktop.
What Settings should I use in Air Port Utility, Should the Ethernet Cable be plugged into Ethernet or LAN Port?
My Current Settings are:
Ethernet Cable: Connected to the ETHERNET PORT
AirPor Tab:
Wireless Mode: OFF
Connect Using: ETHERNET
Internet Tab: Internet Connection
Connect Using: ETHERNET
Connection Sharing: OFF (BRIDGE MODE)
TCP/IP:
Configure IPv4: USING DHCP

I am Running OS 10.5.8 on a PowerBook G4.
Below you will see the Log (IP Address, AirPort ID, Eternet ID, Subnet Mask, Router Address, DNS Server Info has been removed).
I had the TC was originally set-up connected to a DLS Modem, all worked fine Backups over TM all was ok, but then the Modem died. (I upgraded to a Wireless Router). I did have it set up, but I nolonger know the settings, I wanted to do a backup with TM, which had not been done for a long time (6 months)
I tried to backup, but either it was not working or was taking sooooo long, that I decided to do the Backup over Ethernet (still took the hole day for 8.5 GB). I had read that I nedded to chang my setting to be able to Backup with Ethernet. Did not Save the previous settings hence my problem!

You should check that your Mac meets the requirements for upgrading.
The requirements for Lion are:

Go into Settings App and turn OFF Find My iPhone. It will ask for your old password, but in the future you can use your new Apple ID account. I'm having a similar problem, but I do have the key and is not working anyway.
My old pc was running on windows 7 and my new one is an apple running on Lion.
My phone is an Iphone IV and I can see all the bookmarks there.
In order to sync, what I did was click on the "I don't have the device with me", I entered the key that was provided and the process finish ok. It says congratulations, etc, etc.
But the bookmarks are not there, I tried merging data and replacing data on this computer options but is the same.
Any suggestions?

Hotmail on a Mac is POP3 only, you will only get the basic folders (inbox, sent, trash etc) and it will not sync with other devices.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Your best method would be to connect via USB and transfer that way, since videos are not transferred using photostream.
However you can stop photos on your mac being added to photostream in the iPhoto preferences > photostream by unchecking the automatic upload box.
