How do I set up my yahoo account to be the default mail?

When a website, or my new iphoto 11 automatically pulls up email, it goes to "mail". How do I change that so my yahoo account will be the default?? Thanks!!

Using the search engine management in the search box
1) removed Yahoo.
2) moved Yahoo to the bottom.
I've also changed the search engine in about:config.
I don't have AVG or myfreeze.

How do I set my older version of Pages as the default when opening files?

I currently have two versions (Pages '08 3.0.3 and Pages '09 4.2) on my computer. I am finding that when others send me a document created in the older version of Pages, when I open it, it converts it to the newer version. If I make changes and send it back, that same person with only the older version cannot open the file. I know I can duplicate the file, and save a copy as the Pages '08 version when sending the file back, but I'd like to skip this step. Remembering to control click each new file to choose which version I want to open the file in seems like an extra, unecessary step as well. I simply want the files sent to me to open in the older version, so I don't need to go through these extra steps each time. Anyone have any suggestions or tips for me? Any help would be appreciated. I do try to keep Pages 08 open on my computer, but I sometimes find that my documents will still convert to the 09 version upon opening them, even if I don't make any changes or even save the file myself. I also find that I do not get the "save as" option in Pages 09 when it is not a file I created myself. You wouldn't think a basic word processing file would have this much trouble opening in a version that really isn't that much older. I've been doing a lot of copying and pasting into the older version when I send files out. This really makes the 09 version inconvenient to me. If it weren't for all of my files that now require the 09 version to open (because of this default setting everything I open seems to become an 09 version) I'd get rid of this version all together, as it is not compatible for so many other people with whom I work!

A simple question, so obvious to solve, but not in this case?
Since Windows 7 64bit keeps 32bit applications within Program Files (x86) folder, they are not listed within the Program Files folder and you are not allowed to associates Jpeg and other similar extension to Photoshop Elements 9 !
This is soemthing I had from the beginning when I purchased PSE9 last year and never needed, but now I have the need as I sporadically work on loads of images at one time.
What do I do?

Depending on whether you are running the 32 bit or 64 bit you will want to enter the correct directory of your photoshop.exe application. To do this right click on the "Default" file after navigating to the above location, click "modify" and enter the correct location of photoshop.exe. I am runnning the 64 bit version so the correct location for me was the following:
"C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5 (64 Bit)\Photoshop.exe"
Click "Ok" and close out of Registry Editor.
Right Click on any JPEG, BMP, etc. select "open with" and be happy to see photoshop sitting right there in the program list.

Unless you're a paying member of Yahoo! Mail Plus, you can't use Mail to send and receive email. You can probably send, but definitely not receive. If you're too cheap to pay, then go with a Gmail POP account; it's free.

How do I set up a sub account in icloud? We need three separate email addresses in this house but only have one Apple ID. Since the apple ID is an email address, I'm sort of in a catch 22. I can't set up individual icloud accounts because I don't have other apple ID's. I can't get other apple ID's because you have to use one to get an icloud account... Very confusing. You cannot set up subaccounts, as you couldwith the family pack for MobileMe. I'm not sure why you can't create separate Apple IDs and hence iCloud accounts, it isn't good practice to share and iCloud account between different people. All you need to do, is each create your own iCloud account, choosing your old email address when you do so.

I'm trying to set up Mail 2.1.3. in 10.4.11. I have 2 email accounts. I can enter one just fine but it won't take another. When I try, it says that I "already have a POP account". But the 2 addresses have different passwords and the password box takes only one password at a time. Any ideas?

It's hard for me to tell by what has been written so far, but it may be referring to what you are entering for the account description. That is, in Mail Prefs > Accounts > Acct Info, for each account it has several entries: Acct Type (that you can't change), Description, email address, full name. If the first account's description is POP, then make the second account's description POP2. I use terms like, "home", "work", and "school" for my accounts' descriptions.
If this is not what is going on, please write down every step you do, and every entry you make, as you try to configure your second email account and post it back here. Naturally, do NOT disclose your actual email address(es) or mail account login name or its password to us here.
