How do I set up Thunderbird to access Mediacom email account

Trying to set up Thunderbird to access email on Mediacom email servive. should be encrypted, but Thundeerbird only finds unencrypted connection. When I try to enter settings, Tbird fails to find access. If i try to accept lower security settings, Tbird protests. Mediacom is no help, their link simply restates the obvious. the link they gave me is:

Unfortunate their instructions are about 20 versions old. However those instruction require no encryption at all. /so regardless of Thunderbird protest that they are not secure, they are what your provider offers.
You will probably find that Thunderbird does not detect the use of port 80 for outgoing email.... but that is because it is a port for unencrypted WWW access, not mail.
So the Contig form should look like this.
Incoming POP
Server Name POP.secureserver.net
Port 110
SSL: none
Authentication: Normal password
Outgoing SMTP
Server: smtpout.secureserver.net
Port 80
SSL none
Authentication: normal password.

Does anyone know how you can set the time period that the stock email will keep the already downloaded messages for IMAP email accounts?
Mine never seems to show more than a couple of days worth at a time. I'd ideally like to be able to see at least 2 weeks worth of messages without needing to download them again!
On other phones I've had there was a setting in the menu, but either I can't find it...or it's not there. I've found the setting for how OFTEN it checks the accounts, but not the setting I am seeking.

I have about 6 different email accounts on my iPhone. From exchange server (work email) to my personal yahoo and google accounts plus my personal business account. Is there a possibility to set up different ringtones for each of the emails separately?
I monitor my email very closely as I work for a 24-7 emergency call center and I would like to have a way to differentiate my emails by the rintone assigned to them. My work email goes off all the time, but i can't tell which is which and I hate picking up my phone or stopping what i'm doing for just a junk email.
Also would there also be an option for high priority emails to have a different ringtone as well?

How do I set up new folders for an email account

I am unable to set up a new folder in my iPad email account. The only folders are inbox, sent and trash.

At the moment you can't do it directly in the Mail app. If it's an IMAP type account then you should be able to login to your account on a browser and create them there, and they should then appear in the Mail app. If it's a POP type account then unfortunately you're stuck with what you've got. If you're unsure of the type of account then see if you can create additional folders via a browser.
With iOS 5 later this year you should be able to do directly in the Mail app (not sure if that applies to both IMAP and POP) - from http://www.apple.com/ios/ios5/features.html#more :

I can't log onto BT Email using Firefox but can with Chrome. I get to a point where I have a white screen background with blue hyperlink and black text only.

The Guest Network function of the Time Capsule and AirPort Extreme cannot be enabled when the device is in Bridge Mode. Unfortunately, with another router...the Telus...upstream on your network, Bridge Mode is indicated as the correct setting for all other routers on the network.
If you can replace the Telus gateway with a simple modem (that performs no routing functions), you should be able to configure either the Time Capsule or the AirPort Extreme....whichever is connected to the modem....to provide a Guest Network.

which software version you have on WLC ?
Is the site survey done propely ?
Remember: It is the client that decides when to roam and which AP to connect to based on what it perceives the signal to be.
If your site survey design is perfect and still have problems while roaming then:
Disable your lower data rates on the 2.4ghz and or 5ghz radio and your clients will roam better. Try to disable everything below 11mbps. and give that a try.May be old device will work in this case.

How can i access an email account on TB from a separate computer without deleting/modifying how the other account is setup

I want to be able to access another email account that is set up as a POP account on TB, but I do not want to modify how the other email account is set up. My co-worker and I often need to access each others emails. Is it simply a matter of adding the email account on my computer as a POP, without moving his emails? Or would this require changing his account to IMAP? When i set up his TB account, I made it a POP so there are no messages on the server at the moment. What I don't want is for his emails to move from his computer to mine.
(He's new to TB and that would drive him crazy - I already did that when I switched him from Outlook)

Yes. And make sure to check the option to leave messages on the server prior to accessing the account.
Having said that, I think it is a very bad idea to share an account that way.
Note that this will give you permanent access to your co-worker's account.
In addition you're not only storing your own messages on your computer, but also all your co-worker's messages.
The same is true for him if he does the same.

Depending on when you originally set up your Apple ID, you may have @mac.com, @me.com, and @icloud.com email addresses associated with your account, but all mail sent to those addresses should still come in to the same iCloud account (you can test this to make sure by sending yourself emails at those addresses). It's a bad idea if these phones belong to different people.... all of your information will be merged and everyone will have everyone's contacts and whatever else you are pushing to icloud.
However, all you need to do is go to settings>icloud and sign into the same account on all 3 phones.

Having the email address is not necessary. It is just the username for the device. All you need is that Apple ID and password. Now, if you forgotten the password, then you have more work to do. Since that email is no longer active, you would need to send the reset to your rescue email, if you remember that. Or you will need to contact Apple Security for help.
