Go to manual setup..
Internet tab
Connection sharing.. select off bridge mode in the drop down box.
You can then if you like turn off wireless under airport wireless.. The TC is now a plain network client with hard disk.
Personally I would keep the wireless on but sort the channels manually if you already have a wireless AP or router. -

How can I set my time capsule to only back-up once a day. It appears to be backing up several times a day. Not sure there is a set schedule for the back-ups and they take a great deal of time; over an hour each.

Then something is wrong. Changing the schedule will only deal with the symptom (and give up one of the better features of Time Machine's usually quick and unobtrusive hourly backups).
See if the size of the backups makes sense, considering what you've changed since the previous one. If it seems much too large, that may be the problem. See #D4 in Time Machine - Troubleshooting for some common culprits and ways to see just what's going on.
If the sizes seem reasonable, see #D2 in the same link for things that can cause extra-slow backups. -

It is not possible to set up specific time limits for the Guest Network as a whole, but it is possible to set up individual time limits for each device that will be connecting to the Guest Network.....and, also the main network for that matter.
If you can provide us with some more specifics on what you are trying to accomplish, how many devices will be involved, etc.......that will help us craft our answer to provide accurate information.
Meanwhile, if you want to take a look at the general settings in Timed Access....
Open Macintosh HD > Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utility
Click on the Time Capsule icon, then click Edit
Click the Network tab at the top of the screen
Enter a check mark in the box next to Enable Timed Access
Click on the Timed Access button
Click Cancel to avoid making any changes to your current setup -

How do I set up a Web-based access page to allow access to the internet through my router?
My wireless router is a WRT54G. I own/manage several condos in a building and guests change all the time. I want to set up a network with internet access similar to hotels and airports where access is granted after being directed to a web page and entering a password. How do I set this up? (I have several domains/websites if this is needed.)
Not with standard firmware and no other equipment.
If you want standard firmware and warranty and service you have to look at more expensive equipment.
For some WRT54G you can flash 3rd party firmware which opens up the Linux on the router. See the wikipedia article for "WRT54G" for a start. Also check out dd-wrt. Some people there use the WRT in hotspot setups with dd-wrt. They should be able to point you into the right direction.
Otherwise, what you are able to do with the WRT and standard firmware is radius authentication with WPA or WEP (called WPA Enterprise or similar...). This however, does not redirect you to access through a web site. You have to enter the username and password when you connect wireless to the router on your computer. If it matches you get access. Again: there is no web site involved here and if you don't know the username/password you cannot access anything not even an internal, free homepage. This also does not work for wired access to the router.

I think I have it working on my iPhone 5. But, I do not see how I can control the exit point that I would like for the VPN. Are all the exit points shown in the VPN setting now going to work with Open VPN, or do they remain PPTP? If I am reading correctly, they look like they remain PPTP. If I cannot control the exit point for open VPN, which exit point is the default in the profile you provided me?I note that Open VPN Connect does not work with any of the new 64 bit devices like the iPhone 5S, the iPad Air, and the new iPad MIni. Is there any chance that you guys will come up with an update for your app so that open VPN can be made to work on all iOS devices? That would be nice, particularly if the Open VPN Connect app does not give me a choice of exit points.Thanks,
I do not see where to enter IP addresses in the Open VPN setup. Also, how can I set it up so that I can choose different servers in the same way as I can currently choose them with my VPN app but for PPTP?
Just a quick note to tell you that Open VPN has updated their app so that it is compatible with 64 bit ARM devices like the iPhone 5S, the iPad Air, and the iPad Mini Retina.That does not resolve the problem of how to easily choose among the various possibilities for the exit server. I have a linksys WRT54G router that we use as a base. I want to use Airplay using Airport Express and hook up my stereo to it. How can i set up my Airport express without a PC/laptop? I just downloaded Airport utility on my iphone and ipad,will that work? And one more thing about the setup, the linksys router shich acts as a base is in a different room as the airport express which i wanted to use for airplay. The first message that AirPort Utility will display during the auto setup will be that the Express will be confgured to "extend" the network. When AirPort Utility analyzes the network further, and sees that the Express cannot "extend" the 3rd party network, the next message will indicate that the Express is being configured to "join" the wireless network.
Once the Express is configured, if you later go into AirPort Utility to check the settings under the Wireless tab, you will see that the Wireless Mode is indeed "Join a wireless network". -

I’m combining several InDesign files into one PDF, with several hundred text links across the different sections, as well as within each. The cross-document (section) Text Anchor Hyperlinks work fine in my workspace - but when I change the file location, they are no longer active (other links, bookmarks remain intact).
How do I set up InDesign cross-document Text Anchor Hyperlinks so that when the files are moved, they remain active?They seem to be a lot of extra work, and I don't see what the additional benefit is. I have several hundred links to do. I would appreciate learning what the benefit is, as I don't mind the extra effort if it will deliver the desired results.

Hi,
You can indeed create groups (family, friends, ...) on your computer, and then sync with iTunes on your iPhone. I find it is quite complex. When you will need to modify a group (add or remove a member for example), you will need to do it on computer, and sync again.
I am proposing you an alternative : I have developed a free application to manage contacts groups, to populate these groups, and then to send emails or texts to all group members in one tap.
I tried to respect as much as possible iPhone design (simple, intuitive,...).
