How do I setup an Allen & Heath QU-16 on Logic Pro X?

Hello,
I have a Allen & Heath QU-16 with all current firmware, I have read that this mixer does not need any drivers, but I downloaded a driver from Allen & Heath's website. It successfully connects to the Macbook Pro that I am using and it is detected in Logic Pro X. The mixer is connected to microphones picking up a drum kit, and the audio reaches the QU-16 and plays out monitors just fine. The problem is that the audio doesn't register in Logic. I have tried using different inputs, turning on input monitoring, and I have the input and output set to the QU-16 in the preferences.
Any help would be appreciated, and I would be more than happy to elaborate on what I have tried already.

This gets confusing, you have two Macs with different issues and two pedals with different issues? First let's sort out what's what. So, do the issues come from the pedals or from the Mac software? To find out, simply switch the pedals and note their behaviour. No change: it's the software, change: it's the pedals (imho the most likely scenario).
Second, what kind of pedals are they? Can you name the type of pedal too? The Yamaha what and the Mgear which?
Third, with the 4 fold data problem, are the doubled events simultaneous, or a few ticks apart, or more?
Also, you have no MIDI keyboard? Are the pedals both "standalone"?
I think you have to sort this problem at its' source, which are the pedals. You could, if push really comes to shove, perhaps create some sort of ingeneous/elaborate transformer setup in the environment to filter the extra messages, although with the 4/4 sustain events that may not even be possible. With the "stepped" events you could set up a filter to just block all events with values 20-110 or so.
But much better would be to configure the pedal(s) correctly.

How do you access T-Racks EQ plug-in in Logic Pro 9?

I just installed the T-Racks EQ plug-in I got for free for attending a music seminar and I can't figure out how to access the insert from within Logic Pro 9. I have several other third-party plug-ins/inserts installed and have had no problem finding/accessing them within Logic.
I feel stupid for asking, but does anyone know how to access the T-Tacks EQ insert from within Logic Pro? Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestions Eriksimon. I checked in the Library>Audio>Plug Ins>Components folder and there were no t-racks.component files in there. You are correct that there is a stand-alone shell for T-RackS and I downloaded that after I tried installed the EQ component three times without any success. I then noticed that the EQ component was ver 1.3 and the T-RackS shell was version 3.0, so figured it might be that I was trying to install a version of the EQ that was too old. Once I installed the T-Racks 3.0 shell, the Classic EQ showed up in the T-RackS stand-alone shell, and it is also now showing up in Logic Pro. When I click on one of the Insert buttons in the channel strip, the T-RackS Classic EQ shows up under "Audio Units/IK Multimedia", which is where I originally expected it to show up.

i just recently bought the virus ti polar and the m-audio firewire solo and i have no clue on how to hook the virus up into logic 8? or do i run it threw the firewire solo interface and then into logic 8 im very frustrated. i dont know where to start and what setting to use or even anything. How do I run a Midi Light show from within Logic Pro?

I'm trying to figure out how to run a midi light show along side or within logic pro. I currently run .wav synth files through logic into an Onyx Satellite into the PA system, I want to run a lights show that fits perfectly with each part of the songs running on logic pro. I need tips on everything: hardware, what intelligent lights I need, how to best program and set this up.

I use the NSI MC1616 midi controller. with it you can control 16 separate banks of lights and store 16 scenes. the unit uses midi program change messages for each scene and CC #1 info for fade rate. Since the MC1616 sends the program info midi out, I use it to send the commands to logic in real time, playing along with the song, pressing the scene buttons, to program the lighting cues.

It emulates a Mackie Control which Logic supports. Open the Control Surfaces setup/install window, make sure MIDI ins and outs are both connected, turn on the unit and it should appear a in couple of seconds. If it doesn't, manually install it. It's reasonably clear and the 1082 is even listed in the install window. You shouldn't have much trouble.

What are you trying to achieve? FCP7 is a movie project format, not to mention it's years old while Logic is a music sequencer. If you try to add audio and soundtracks to a movie you'll need to export the movie file and add it as a video track (just drag and drop) to your Logic project. You may want to do your editing in Logic with a LoRes version of your movie, than export your work to a lossless audio format and put that file in your Final Cut for HiRes export. Logic Pro also supports region positions as SMPTE (e.g. in the event browser), if that helps you synchronize some events.

MIDI files are on desktop. For test run, used Logic Pro 7 File>Import>Open file type MIDI files. Found song.mid in Applications file, downloaded to song#.Iso Arrange Score, no sound, though meters activated.
