How do I setup TimeCapsule up for remote access through the internet.

I have a first gen time capsule that I would like to access remotely when I'm not at home. I have a modem/router combo Motorola sb6141 at home that my time capsule is attached to. I have read on other threads that I need to turn off the wireless on my time capsule and have a dedicated IP address from Comcast. I was just hoping for more confirmation/ideas that have worked for everyone else. Thanks!

A Gen1 TC will need to be updated to 7.6.1 firmware for preference although the latest is 7.6.3 and use BTMM and iCloud.. as long as the TC is operating as the main router it will work better than other methods.. assuming you are a Mac to access it remotely. If you are not using a Mac what are you using??

You will have setup issues.. as the latest AC model requires a Mac or iOS device.. eventually apple will release a windows version of the utility.. and the current one does partly work but Apple seem in no hurry.
You can find a Mac or iPad equipped friend to do the setup.. once setup the Windows computer can use it.
BUTT you cannot access it from remote..
Not with windows. You need BTMM and iCloud account. AFAIK even with those you cannot reach the TC.
You can do it manually.. using a vpn. Buy a proper vpn router and use a vpn client on the windows computer.. the TC would be in bridge to the network..
Apple really did not make this for windows.. and SMB access is only provided on LAN access not WAN.

I easily got my first HD DVR setup for remote access and it worked perfetly for 1 day, then it stopped working. After 2 hours on the phone with tech support, we got it to work again. However, we were unable to get my second DVR setup. He said that I could only have one DVR setup for remote access, is that true? If not, any assistance would be much appreciated.

Are you speaking of Remote Access from the Web? ...or from a mobile phone?
For Web Access it is absolutely NOT TRUE!
I have TWO DVRs. I can access both remotely from the web and schedule or delete recordings.
The tech MAY have been speaking of (or confused about) the MULTI-ROOM capability that the DVR's have.
Only one of the DVRs can be (and is) a Home Media (or Multi-Room) DVR, and therefore can share recordings with my other NON-DVR STB and communicates with any computer on my home network for PC-based Audio, Vieo and Image files, as well as connecting to the certain Internet video streaming sites.
The other DVR is a standalone machine is this regard, but regardless, it still has remote access to control it from the Web.
(I do not know anything about the Remote Access from a mobile phone capability, since I do have a Verizon Wireless contract. THAT Remote Access may indeed be limited to just a single DVR.)

Remote Access Over The Internet

I have an iMac G5 in my home office setup, from which I am able to access the main server here at our business office. I can download files to my home computer, work on them, and upload them back to the server when I'm finished.
How can I/do I set up my home computer for access in the opposite direction, in other words, to access files on my home computer from my office computer? Do I need any additional hardware or software?

Are you using any type of router at home? If not you don't need to do anything special except enable Personal File Sharing on your iMac G5.
If you are using a router, you will need to configure the iMac G5 to use a static/manual IP address and then forward the appropriate ports through the router to your iMac G5.

I can´t add preferred, chosen, most visited or bookmarked websites to the 28,15 or 6fields in"file" - "new tab". I have a PC with Windows Vista and have been using Firefox with additional Google toolbar as my preferred or default browser for several years. I have downloaded several updates. I suspect that my version is now 4 or 5. Originally the Google for Firefox new tab feature showing chosen favourite or preferred websites for quick one click access worked fine but I seem to have lost the abiiity or forgotten how to add new such favourites for quick access. The "edit" button there on the bottom left can only delete valuable chosen sites, which then seem to the be lost forever. This edit button is very dangerous! The "bookmarks" and "most visited" tabs listed show a wild coincidental mixture of sites I once visited sometime but have nothing to do with my real favourites or chosen or most visited sites. So I don´t use these bookmark or "most visited" features.

Most visited would not be your bookmarks, but your tab history.
You can check that out via Ctrl+Shift+H then search on ":" (colon without the quotes). Sort on the "Visits Count" (descending) and you will see that they agree.

Fore example, if I get a work email, I want to hear a DING, DING....If I get a personal email, I want to hear a BEEP, BEEP. Right now, any email from any account has the same notification. I want work incoming email notification to be different than personal incoming notification. The only semi-workaround I've seen is just disable any notification for the Hotmail account, so only work emails would notify. But then I don't know when I get a personal email. Even the lowely Blackberry Torch 9800 has this feature..not iPhone 4s??

I developed an eCATT as following :
SAPGUI ( SAPGUI_1 , Target_system_1 ).
SAPGUI ( SAPGUI_2 , Target_system_2 ).
My question is how to run the eCATT in a synchronous RFC calls
PS: I do not want to change the Target_system to the same one in the
above script of ecatt.Because I need to run it in 2 different Target
systems sometime.
for example, I give a Target_system_3 when run this eCATT
I want the SAPGUI_1 and SAPGUI_2 run the Target_system_3 but not the
Target_system_1 or Target_system_2 .
Could you please tell me how to make it without the changes in script?

This is the standard option value. Asynchronous are not the standard way and used only for very special purposes.

The commands will be executed in sequence. So each call will be synchronously replayed against TS1 and TS2.
What is you issue with this standard procedure?

Yes... but I have come across some setups that came with a native SL (and even one Lion!) installation.. that somehow had a corrupted or older Prokit installed for some unknown reason... and given it's a quick fix to try.. I thought I'd mention it..
I frankly don't think it is entirely a Prokit issue itself, but it wouldn't do any harm to try and install v7 just in case it is part of the problem...
+1 on the UAD stuff....
Also, at the time it crashed... according to the logs...the OP was running Ableton Live at the same time, presumably rewired with Logic... so add all that together with UAD plugins... and that's quite a load on the system...
Finally in thread 32 there is a weird exception msg relating to the Trash2 plugin.. that I haven't seen before...
