How do I share a calendar on my iPad with others or to print a PDF to send by email.

Should I make a change and want to share the calendar to a group

Your question can't be answered in detail because it provides no details: What kind of calendar from which app to be used by which group which is capable of doing what or is equipped with what?
In general terms, however:
The iPad Calendar app can not publish public calendars, nor can it print calendars in any format.
From the iPad itself, all I could think of to do was take a screenshot of your desired calendar, edit it as needed in a photo app, then email it.
In the "good old days" of MobileMe you could easily publish a public calendar, i.e., provide a URL to it which would allow anyone else anywhere to view than calendar on a webpage. That capability has gone away, along with many others, in the upgrade to iCloud.
You can still publish from iCloud, but it's now more limited. The link has to be opened from a calendar application that supports the standard used (either CalDAV or WebCal, I forget which one), which actually covers a lot of the calendar apps out there.
The process is described more fully in a couple of KB articles which I don't have saved and which I haven't looked at for some time. I'm not using iCloud yet and so haven't paid that much attention to it.

  • How do I share my calender on my ipad with others?

    HI there,
I would like to share my calendar of my ipad with my fiancé. I googled it after trying myself. The pages all explained that I should have button next to my calendars (which I haven't) or log into the icloud website (no sign in field).
I would be very grateful if anyone could help me.
    Kind regards
    Pettlepie

Would you happen to have a Mac?

  • How can I share the music on my ipad with my imac using home sharing?

I’ve been trying to share the music on my ipad with my imac. I've set my apple ID account on both of them but I can't get any of the songs I purchased on my ipad to my imac. Even though, when I click my albums it shares the music on my imac to  my ipad. the reason why I couldn't do this before was that I had recently purchased my ipad and created a new account that was different from the account on my imac. so can I use home sharing on itunes with my ipad and imac? and if not then how else could I share the music on my ipad to the itunes on my imac?

iOS: Setting up Home Sharing on your device - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4557 - "With Home Sharing in iOS 4.3 or later, you can stream your entire iTunes library over your home Wi-Fi network from your Mac or PC right to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch."
The above makes it sound like it is one way, computer to mobile device.  Perhaps something below says differently.

  • How do I share my itunes and iphoto libraries with other users (accounts) ?

    Hi !
I am trying to share my itunes and iphoto libraries with other users on my powerbook, but I seem to have problems with it.
What is the best way to do it?
Place an alias in my "shared" folder and access this with the applications from the different accounts ? This seems to workt for the itunes library, at least... Or do I have to mess with the righs managent ?
I dont want screw up my nice mac...
Thanx for the help in advance.

Hi... and thanx for your help...
I did not think that I would have to mess with my firewall, as long as I am talking of useres on the same computer, but I guess I was wrong.
Your advice helps very much, but only as long as I am still logged in with my user name. I does not work when only my kids are logged in. There has to be a way to use these libraries without the need to log in the user that has created those folders...
    Hmmm
    Thanx for your help

  • How do I share vacation calendar of my team with a larger group of people ?

    Hi,
As a manager, I can see calendars for my direct report's vacation using Manager's desktop/Monthly Absence Calendar.
However, within a project team (larger than my team's reports) there is a real need for team members to see each-other's availability for a period of time.
How can I achieve these use cases :
    1. Another manager (Mgr A) needs to see not only his reports availability, but also my (Mgr B) report's availability. ("Delegation of visibility"  on my data)
    2. My team members need to see each other's availability
    3. All A's reports and B's reports should ideally have full visibility on all A and B teams.
Not to say, that it needs to be dynamic reporting, not a snapshot exported at a given time, that would quickly become deprecated.
    Thanks for your answer.
    Stéphane

  • How do I share a folder on mac mini with other macs in the network?

    Howdy all!
The scenario I have in mind is that I have one folder in our Mac Mini (used as Home Theater) with all the family's music files on it. The rest of the family would be able to access the folder and copy the music they prefer onto their own computers (iMacs and Macbooks). The other computers would have read only access, they would not be able to alter the contents of the original file (to prevent accidental deletion). Only the user of the Mini Home Theater could alter the contents of said file.
I have tried pulling up the "Get Info" window and clicking the "Shared Folder" and "Locked" boxes, but all this seems to do is make the user of the Mac Mini unable to alter the contents of the folder. All the other macs on the network can access and alter the folder contents no problem.
    What am I missing?
Thank you for any advice you can give!

This isn't quite what I was looking for. I don't want to share the folder with users on the same computer--I want to share the folder with users on other computers.
Unless there is some way to identify users on other computers. How can I do that?

  • How do I share cards in my address book with other users on my iMac?

I setup our iMac so me and my wife login with our own account. The problem, however, is that contacts I add to my address book are not visible when she signs on with her account. How do I go about sharing this info? Come to think of it, how will I let her view the photos that are associated with my account too?
    Thanks.

    Nevermind.

  • TS4204 How do I sync the calendar on my iPad with the calendar on my husband's iPhone?

Does anyone know if this is possible? My husband has the iPhone 4

Using separate iCloud accounts (don't use the same one unless you want everything synced between your two devices), you can designate one or more calendars as sharable.  Log into icloud.com with a computer's browser, go to the calendar page and click the "Calendars" button.  There you can designate sharable calendars.

  • How can I share multiple calendars in iCal with several different people?

I need to share multiple calendars created in iCal with all our staff. Do I enter their individual email addresses separated by a semi-colon or a "plus" sign or how. I tried entering all the email addresses with the semi-colon and when I go back to look at sharing, it just shows one email address.

I am assuming that you are referring to a responsive layout that has divisions that reposition themselves according to the width of the client browser window.
Rather than go into a teaching mode on this forum, let me point you to a nifty free Dreamweaver extension that will help you to achieve this. Have a look here http://www.dmxzone.com/go/21759/dmxzone-bootstrap?utm_source=Blog&utm_medium=link&utm_cont ent=DMXzone+Bootstrap+Released…

  • How do i share i tunes and i cloud with 2 iphones

how do i share i tunes and i cloud with 2 iphones, like when i buy music it will go to my husbands phone or vice versa!

Sharing an Apple ID for iTunes and App store purchases is not a problem.  Just enter the same Apple ID in Settings>Store>Apple ID.  You can turn on Automatic Downloads here as well.  However, don't share the same iCloud account unless you want to have merged calendars and contacts.  To maintain separation it's best to have separate iCloud accounts with different Apple IDs.  (The Apple ID you use for iCloud does not have to be the same as the one you use for purchases in Settings>Store.)  This article may be of interest: http://www.macstories.net/stories/ios-5-icloud-tips-sharing-an-apple-id-with-you r-family/.

  • How do I get my calendar on my ipad to sync with my calendar on my iphone 4s?

How do I get my calendar on my ipad to sync with my calendar on my iphone 4s?

I've done all of these things, and nothing is working. I understand how the cloud is supposed to work, and I understand how to sync via itunes. For some reason, the calendar is the only thing that isn't syncing.
I have support on the phone now. We've figured out that if I make a calendar entry on icloud from my PC, it follows through on my phone and ipad. Same if I make the entry on my iphone - it follows to icloud on my PC and ipad. But when I make the entry on the ipad, it doesn't follow through to my iphone or icloud on my PC.
I've had a tech walking me through all of this for about a half hour now. Can't figure it out. He's checking with his senior tech, has me on hold right now. It's looking like I may have to make a trip to my nearest Apple store, 45 minutes away.

  • How do I create multiple calendars on my iPad?

How do I create multiple calendars on my iPad?

I love stealing another users posts and here is one now ....
You don't create multiple calendars on the iPad.
The iPad is designed to be synced with a supported application on your computer for contacts and calendar events. The contact Groups I've created with the Address Book on my Mac and the different calendars I have with iCal on my Mac are available and kept synchronized with the my iPhone's Contacts and Calendar applications, and the same applies to the iPad.
Long story short, this is done with the supported application on your computer used for syncing contacts and calendar events.
The same principle applies to PC users. You have to sync within iTunes from a supported calendar application on your PC.

  • How can i sync my calendar in Outlook 2007 with iTunes 11.1.3.8 WITHOUT using iCloud?

How can i sync my calendar in Outlook 2007 with iTunes 11.1.3.8 WITHOUT using iCloud?

your link shows how to sync, i know how to do that.
i specifically wanted to sync my outlook calendar with my phone, not my outlook calendar with icloud calendar.
apparently you have to go into setup on phone and tell phone not to sync calendars with icloud so you can get choice to sync phone via itunes.
    thanks anyways for trying.
