How Do I Share Mac Volumes on Windows 7?

Out of necessity in my business, I have a new Dell with Windows 7 on my network. I have networked it with two Macs running 10.4 and two running 10.5. The user volume for all 4 Macs shows up on the Windows machine, but the main volume that contains everything else only shows up on the 10.5 Macs.
What do I have to do to the 10.4 Macs to get them to show all volumes on Windows 7?

How do I share Mac music and photo files when in Windows Bootcamp mode?

I have a new iMac with a terabyte of storage that includes about 30 gigs each of iTunes music and jpg photos. I need to share them to the Windows Bootcamp environment so I can wirelessly stream to them to a DLink DSM 320 media server connected to an AV system located in another room. When in Bootcamp Windows the the 320 can "see" the Windows machine but cannot find any media.
So the question is, how do I share files between Mac and Windows when in Windows Bootcamp?
A better solution would be to directly connect the Dlink when in the Mac environment but I have not been able to find software to do that (the Dlink product is for PC only.) If anyone knows of such software that would be great too.

Windows needs third party software to see files on the MAC OS extended FS. I've heard MacDrive does this.

There's a couple of ways to get through to the authorisation controls in the 11.0.x versions.
The control is still in the Store menu, but first (if you're using iTunes versions 11.0.x) you might need to bring up the menu bar to see the Store menu.
If you're using 11.0.x, click on the wee boxy icon up in the top-left corner of your iTunes to see the "Show Menu Bar" control, as per the following screenshot:

How do I choose how to set my Mac up for Windows compatibility?

Parallels is apparently not for intel-based Macs, and Bootcamp requires a reboot to switch over to the other operating system. Boot Camp also requires that I burn a copy of the software onto a disc, but my computer is not able to burn discs. I want to be able to run and access Windows files and programs and also be able to access PC applications (like Pokerstars, for example, which is for PC only), any advice would be helpful, I am new at this world of Mac.

You need to install Windows on your mac either through Parallels (which creates a virtualized environment within OS X) or use Boot Camp to install Windows directly on your Macbook, as you would any other non-Apple computer.

You're going to have to be more specific with the issues, errors and diagnostic messages that you are encountering, and what particular configuration you are seeing to establish.
Screen sharing is available from Mac to Mac, and from Windows once you load a VNC client on the Windows box such as TightVNC or some other VNC client, and configure and connect it.
Here are some notes on getting Windows file clients to connect to a Mac OS X Server SMB Samba file server; you have to drop some of the Windows security requirements to allow it to connect to the Mac OS X Server box.
Microsoft Office Outlook isn't traditionally used with mail servers other than Microsoft Exchange Server. (While Outlook was good with Exchange Server and has likely gotten better over the years, it was classically rather poor when working with SMTP servers.) More commonly, Outlook Express (and now called Windows Mail) is used for this, or Mozilla Thunderbird, or another SMTP-capable mail client.
One of the first things you will want to ensure here is correct and functional DNS on your LAN; other services are entirely dependent on DNS, and your ISP DNS cannot provide valid DNS for a LAN behind a NAT device. Launch Terminal.app and issue the command sudo changeip -checkhostname and see if you get an indication that DNS is correct and no changes are required, or that there are DNS errors. How do I share Mac's folders with a Windows machine?

I have a Mac running OS 10.8.3 and a Windows machine running Windows 8.
I create an account that is sharing only, enable File sharing, add a shared folder, give everyone read and write access, enable SMB, select that user, and enter the password.
On the Windows machine, when I log in as an administrator, I see a list of all the volumes and all the shares, and everything works as expected. When I login as the user I just created above, I see a folder with the name of the user with nothing in it; the shared folders and volumes don't appear. Guest isn't even an option.
How do I setup file sharing of multiple shares for users other than administrators?

I have been authoring my own website for years and I used Netscape Communicator and up loaded it with Fetch and I just kind a got into iWeb a little bit deeper than I had before a I like it except I can't get a movie to show on a Windows machine (at least my daughters) to save myself. I make the movies with Keynote and QuickTime and make a movie .MOV out of them. When I look at them on my Mac they are great but any Windows machine and it shows a little puzzle picture and says it won't show it. So my question is what percentage of people's computers can't look at my movies. I am a guitar teacher of 45 years and I'm trying to archive my findings over the years and movies are an absolute must slideshows and that sort of sound moving pictures documents PDFs all that I bought your iWeb for musicians thing and I've read a bunch of other some stuff I understand but others I just have no idea what you're talking about you say I'm supposed to have a media player folder in my root folder and there is no such thing. There is a folder called media and it does have my movies .MOV in it. How can I make a Windows machine show it? Everything you sent me and told me just confuses me more.

How can I share DVD drive on Windows with multiple ODD?

My Windows machine have 2 ODD -- one CD ROM drive, another DVD R/W
(and one more virtual drive, which I think is irrelevant)
Installed "DVD or CD sharing" and remote computer is visible from Air via remote disk.
BUT when I connect and request for use, only first CD-ROM drive is ejected and MBA waits for that drive... and that drive only.
I can't see any configuration option to select which drive I will share.
How can I get DVD sharing work in this case?
Does anybody have similar problem?
(Or where can I request for this functionality)

Unfortunately the support is down at the moment, I will have a better look later. I did go though the Apple support previously, however I found nothing that worked.
The first thread I came across was “Home Sharing” however no mater what I did, it did not appear in the iTunes sharing list (I did go though the “Show Sharing Networks” support as well)
Secondly, I saw “Using A Single Library With Multiple Accounts On The Same PC” (Something like that) but all this did was let us share the same music location, if I was to rip extra music, it will not show in there library

Using bootcamp 5.1, Windows 7 home is installed but missed installing the drivers disk. How to install the Mac drivers for windows after the fact.

While using Bootcamp 5.1, and OS X 10.8.2, I partitioned my Mac disk with 80 Gigs for Windows 7 home and the install went great, but I must have missed the time when I was to install the Mac drivers disk to install the drivers for Windows,(when in Windows I don't have a mouse or optical drive.) Is there a way to install the drivers after Windows is installed, or do I have to go through the whole process all over again?

Press X key after the startup sound to boot into OS X. Then, open Boot Camp Assistant, download Boot Camp drivers and burn them into a USB drive or DVD. Finally, boot in Windows and install drivers

Share network volume

I am trying to share a network volume that I have mounted with other computers on the network.
My server is connected via fibre channel card to a Avid LanShare system (which runs on Windows 2000) when I connect to the server via their software a network drive appears on the OS X Server desktop.
I can't see this volume in the Workgroup Manger.
How do I share this volume.
I am limited to the number of fibre connections (also the expense) of connecting to the LanShare and this is for clients that need some access but not the bandwidth of realtime video

You can share firewire. I have never tried USB though. I can't imagine it would be any different than Firewire... A volume is a volume in most cases.
A shared volume is different, however. You cannot re-share a volume (answer to the original post) that is being shared to your server. It has to be a volume that is directly connected to your server. This includes, an XServe RAID connected via Fibre Channel directly to your server.
If you have a RAID box connected directly to your network via Fibre Channel, you will need to use XSan to manage it. WorkGroupManager is only for local volumes.
