How do I show the Develop Module settings when I open up an image I've exported from LR 4.4?

Say I have a preset that I use upon import. I import some raw files using that preset but decide to tweak the settings a bit per each image. IOW, now they are different than my preset.
I now export from a tweaked raw file a jpeg. If I later import that jpeg back into LR 4.4 but don't apply any presets upon import (just leave it blank, I don't even check None), when the image is in the Library the "Saved Preset" line over on the upper right says "Custom" so I figure my settings were "embedded" into that jpeg when I exported it.
However, when I then go into the Develop module, all the Develop settings are zeroed out. Is there any way to have the setting sliders represent what I actually did to the raw before I exported as a jpeg? I can't just hit the preset I used upon import because, in fact, the current settings have been tweaked.
Along that same line, is there a choice I can select upon import (of an exported jpeg or tiff or whatever) that says "show current Develop settings" or some such instruction that would take care of this during import. Thanks.

No it’s not possible but you have a record in the history panel for your master (raw file) It will show the date you exported the jpeg etc. If you click on that line it will show all the develop settings to the right e.g. the slider values etc.
You can in fact save them as a snapshot; so if you make further tweaks to your raw file, the settings you used for your jpeg will always be saved.
Most users don’t re-import jpegs because they can export a fresh one at any time. It’s also possible to create a virtual copy from the menu (Photo >> Create Virtual Copy) which can have different settings to your master (original raw file). You can create as many VC’s as you like and they take up no extra space on your hard drive. Because they are virtual they are simply stored in the catalog as metadata.

Very Important, how much Free Space is on your Hard Drive first of all? Click on the Macintosh HD on the Desktop, then do a Get Info on it.

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.
Do they launch OK while in Safe Mode?

When I open an existing document it always open too small, I resize it but next time I open it it's small again! Please help! I used to be able to resize them then they stayed that size until I resized it no matter how many times I opened and closed it before upgrading to 3.0!!!!

You may substitute any text you like for the "Placeholder Text", as it is called, in Pages. Click on the existing placeholder text and type something more to your liking. Do this in as many places as your particular template of interest demands. Then, Format > Advanced > Define as Placeholder Text. Lastly, File > Save as Template.
Now that you have defined a Custom Template to your liking, you can go to Pages Preferences and under the General tab's first section, define the new custom template as your default for each new document.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that you've got a custom timecode field somewhere in your production and/or asset metadata group(s), right? And I'm going to further guess that this timecode field has dashes in it like this --:--:--:--, right? If so, try this: Click the arrow next to the timecode field and adjust the timecode so that it has a number (it doesn't matter what the number is as long it's not dashes - "00:00:00:00" is fine). Then Save this asset, close it and then reopen it and see if the beeping madness has vanished. Then, to make this change permanent for all of your new assets, make sure to edit the default value of any custom timecode fields to put zeros (or some other numeric default value) into them when a new asset is generated. If the asset still beeps when you open it, check the other metadata groups in your set to see if there isn't another empty timecode field lurking in the shadows.

A small point is that the instructions are accurate apart for tne the fact that the menu choice marked in blue is for "Options" not "Add-ins".

How do I disable the MP3Tube tool bar when Firefox opens? I have already unchecked it in the views menu, under toolbar. It disappears when I do that, but comes back every time I reopen Firefox.

How to make sure the addon is running when user open the SAP B1 client?

Is it possible that that we can set somewhere in SAP B1 setting and without running addon user can not login into SAP B1 client? I tried even set the addon to Mandatory in addon administration, but user still can choose running without addon. Any suggestion ?

Maybe I didn't describe my situation clear enough. I have lot of lient PC with different environment, i am always be reported that the AddOn doesn't work. In most case they are caused by some unexpected reason like anti-virus softeware or windows update. If the addon crashes then user lost everything in addon and they will starti complaints... My idea is to make the addon as mandatory requirement before user can start to use SAP B1. But for now, the setting in addon administration is more like an option, end user still can be allowed to run SAP B1 without addon.

LR 3.2 - Pb with the reset settings in the develop module / library module

i have a big issue with LR 3.2. In the library modul, my thumbnails didn't have anymore the small icon saying that the picture has been editing in the develop modul. When i am moving into the develop modul, the history is still here but the picture appears in the defaults setting like she has never been edited.
It is said : "reset settings"
How can i do for my pictures to became like they were ? I can't go back one picture by one picture. Did I changed something, I really don't understand and need your help.

In the Library click View >View Options
Under the Grid View tab select Thumbnail Badges
You should then see your icons.
To Re-Set a batch of photos select the first one and reset it.
Hold down the shift key and select the last one (so that all are selected)
Then click Sync.
