How do you solve an issue with the card? I don't get the option of 'none'

I had this exact same problem with the new iPhone I bought on 1/4/13. The walk through they provide on how to do this is useless because it fails to explain that if you are already having the problem of not getting the "None" payment option with an Apple ID then you will need to create a completely new Apple ID.
I had to do this 7 times since I bought my iPhone on Friday until this morning to figure out how to finally be able to use the Home Sharing option in iTunes to put my music collection on my brand new $500.00 iPhone. Pretty pathetic if you ask me but since it made me so angry I want to make sure other know how to do this so you don't get as upset as I did.
#1 If your current or soon to be "old" Apple ID is not providing the option for "None" as a payment option then you need to make a brand new one. But you have to make it specifically how I tell you.
#2 You will need to use an email address that has not already been used for anything related to a previous Apple ID. You might need to make a brand new email address.
#3 Open iTunes, then open iTunes Store (upper right corner of iTunes).
#4 Click on App Store (upper center of screen).
#5 Scroll down the screen page until you see Top Free Apps on the right side.
#6 Choose any one of the FREE apps.
#7 You should either get the option to create a new Apple ID box, either that, or it will pop up with some kind of disclaimer and then it does the create new Apple ID.
Either way just create a new Apple ID when it gives you the option to and then when you get to the page that looks like the payment page the "None" payment option will finally be available.
Note: You will still have to fill out the information on the payment page. As long as you choose the "None" option it will not request any credit card information.
#8 You will be sent a confirmation email to the new email account. Just follow through with what ever it tells you and viola now you can use your Apple Device.
What a pain in the keester, eh?

Solving nonlinear equation with VI

Hi,
I want to use LabView to solve a nonlinear equation. I read forums and figured out that I can use Nonlinear System Solver. vi and I noticed there are two options to write the equation: 1) F(X) is formula and 2) F(X) is VI. I could use the first option and write the equation with that but I did not understand how to use a sub-Vi to provide the equation. Would any one please tell me how to do that?

Read the detailed help for the solver VI.
The VI usually executes much faster than the formula parser/evaluator. Since solvers (and curve fitters, which have the same options) may need to evaluate the function many times while solving, that time can become significant.
In the help is a link to a template for the VI you need. You must use the exact connector pane and reference type. While you can create your own VI, it is much easier to use the template. On the block diagram create the code to generate your equation values in the configuration required by the solver. Be careful to put the parameters in the correcto order.

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. You don't say what you are doing or trying to do. See #5 below.
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

Might be a cookies, cache, extensions, or plug-ins issue.
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
Click: Remove All Website Data
Then delete the cache.
Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that didn't help, from the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.
If it's not an extensions issue, try troubleshooting third party plug-ins.
Back to Safari > Preferences. This time select the Security tab. Deselect: Allow plug-ins. Quit and relaunch Safari to test.

Ok I guess people just don't notice the nav bar (it's quite high...)
What you could do is don't show the nav bar on that page (iWeb, select page, open inspector, go to page tab and uncheck "Display navigation menu") and make your own using a textfield inserting textlinks to the pages included in the nav bar (that would also help google indexing your site... as it can't see the nav bar because it's java rendiring)
And place that manually made nav bar under the photo so it's in the middle of the page when it opens and people can't miss it... It will not automatically update when you add a new page but it's not a lot of work...
=>Catch two flies in one shot...
You could also just select the navbar in iWeb and move it down a bit (lower) so people would notice it, because it's really hugh now...

I have a MacBook Pro 13' late 2011, several months ago I updated my mac to mountain lion and I can say its really great operating system and I really enjoy working with it. The only problem I have is that more than twice a day while using my computer for reading a paper in PDF or in online PDF's or sometimes watching flash videos online, cooling fan starts to work faster and when I look up in the activity monitor, more than 60% of the CPU processing is engaged with Adobe player/viewer and I have to kill the process to stop cooling fan and release the cpu process. My adobe products are in the latest update and there should not be any problem about that.
Please help me solve this problem and enjoy more than ever from your creative products.

Flash has always been a problem hogging the CPU. Recent versions, however, have been a little better. You might try Adobe Flash Player 11.7.700.169. I would also recommend the Safari extensions ClickToFlash 2.7.5 and FlashToHTML5 2.4.

How do I solve connection problems with Windows-PCs on a AirPort network?

I have a AirPort network with 1 AP Extreme (dual band) in bridge modeextended with two dualband AP Express and one 1st gen. AP Express. With only Macs all computers connect without problem, but when introducing PCs running Windows (7 or 8) on my wireless network both Windows and Macs often get problems getting an IP-adress from my router. When resetting my router problem is solved for a while.

You're going to have to be more specific with the issues, errors and diagnostic messages that you are encountering, and what particular configuration you are seeing to establish.
Screen sharing is available from Mac to Mac, and from Windows once you load a VNC client on the Windows box such as TightVNC or some other VNC client, and configure and connect it.
Here are some notes on getting Windows file clients to connect to a Mac OS X Server SMB Samba file server; you have to drop some of the Windows security requirements to allow it to connect to the Mac OS X Server box.
Microsoft Office Outlook isn't traditionally used with mail servers other than Microsoft Exchange Server. (While Outlook was good with Exchange Server and has likely gotten better over the years, it was classically rather poor when working with SMTP servers.) More commonly, Outlook Express (and now called Windows Mail) is used for this, or Mozilla Thunderbird, or another SMTP-capable mail client.
One of the first things you will want to ensure here is correct and functional DNS on your LAN; other services are entirely dependent on DNS, and your ISP DNS cannot provide valid DNS for a LAN behind a NAT device. Launch Terminal.app and issue the command sudo changeip -checkhostname and see if you get an indication that DNS is correct and no changes are required, or that there are DNS errors. (You will need to enter an administrative password for the sudo command to be accepted.)
To connect and use a mail server on the Internet, you'll need to have a public static IP address and a correct public DNS configuration, or (far less desirably, and rather more complex) a way to tunnel from a non-static IP address over to a mail gateway service of some sort. Having static IP and correct DNS is the usual approach.

How can I solve my problems with freezing issues with Lion?

I have a MacBook Pro from may 2010 and recently purchased Lion from the App Store and installed it as suggested. Since then my mouse goes crazy and gets hung up and pages take a lot to load and freezing becomes a continuous thing. Do you have any data on the machine which needs to be saved? If not, I'd just erase the HD and install from the disc which came with your Mac.

Ctrl+C and Ctrl+X are not always working in Google Document opened with Mozilla Firefox 30. This problem first occurred 2 days ago. No changes to the software were made.
The problem is not stable and permanent. I can successfully copy several lines from document and paste them somewhere else. And suddenly the next one is not copied using ctrl+c. Even ctrl+x is not working until I change the selection of the lines. Sometimes it begin to work after changing the selection, sometimes not.
I'm using Google Documents for a long time. I always use Firefox to work with them. And I've never had this problem before.

This problem happens for me as well. I can copy/paste from Firefox initially, but then after pasting elsewhere the Firefox page has to be refreshed in order to copy something else....
