How do I solve this win xp recovery / install problem?

Hello
I have made a backup of the Vista install that comes with the new laptop onto 3 DVDs.
Now I'm trying to launch the Toshiba Product Recovery Media (Win XP Pro) Discs to install Win XP instead.
The Toshiba Product Recovery Media consists of a 1 CD + 1 DVD (for Toshiba Satellite Pro L300)
When I boot up on the CD a Ramdisk OS is installed (great its working!) and then I get a message saying...
"Windows cannot find 'X:BIN\TOSDIALOG.EXE' Make sure you typed the name correctly, and try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search." (OK button)
Maybe X: is the Ramdisk.
When I press okay the message it repeats two more times then the computer reboots. The screen is blank behind the message and nothing else is operable.
When I try to boot up from the DVD nothing happens.
If I start either the CD or DVD up in Vista there is no autoplay or any obvious ways of starting the recovery process.
I must be missing something simple.
Please can someone help?

One thing I did that could have caused a problem was...
With Vista installed I tried to create another partition. In the process I completely screwed up the C Drive booting up. So I had to use the emergency recovery and return to factory setting. Then I followed the process and reinstalled Vista.
Vista is now installed and running. Then I tried to install the Win XP. I would have thought that with Vista back up and running with the C: drive running effectively that it was back to exactly how it was before.

Hello VC experts,
I've got a VC model with a nested IView that contains drop down lists.
As long as the nested IView was only used in one place, everything was fine.
Then I used the nested IView in a second place, and this caused the following problems: After deployment, the dropdowns were empty in the place where the nested IView was already used previously, in the second place everything was OK. The dropdowns display an empty field, and when I click on them as if to select an item it 'drops down' but again there's just one line that is empty, i.e. white.
Did you experience this before?
How can I solve this?

I think if you save this as 'error_dropdown_nestediview.gml' you could reimport it into your model.

Unless you have a backup from which you can restore, yes you will lose all of your data and settings.
You should be able to sync your content back to the iPad if you have been syncing with iTunes all along. If you don't sync with iTunes, you can download much of your paid content again for free as long as you use the same Apple ID. This explains downloading past purchases.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

Make sure your Mac qualifies to run Mountain Lion > Apple - Upgrade your Mac to OS X Mountain Lion.
Try disabling anti virus software and turn off the Firewall in System Preferencs > Security & Privacy
Apps such as Little Snitch and Net Nanny can prevent apps from downloading from the App store including Mountain Lion.
Third party download managers are not compatible with the App Store.
Keep in mind, for downloading Mountain Lion from the App Store, a high speed (broadband) internet connection is strongly recommended by Apple as noted here > iTUNES STORE - MAC APP STORE - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
If you need to reinstall OS X or repair the the startup disk using Mountain Lion Recovery, that requires broadband access to the internet via Wi-Fi or an Ethernet connection. OS X is downloaded over the internet form Apple when OS X Recovery is used for reinstallation.

I see that I have a particulier abonnee of my ISP , which has closed all the ports for security reason and they don't want to open any of it 80,443 ect.
suppose If I want to use Essential server 2012 how I can solve this problem , essential wants domain name whith A record.
I asked DDNS service provider if I lease from them a domain name whith A record would that help to open or manipulate the port 80,443 they said that I have to solve this problem myself . they lease only domain names with dynamic dns records.
so what can be a solution the ISP provider won't open this ports , how I can solve this problem . domain name with ip adres is not helping so what it's go to help?

The domain name in this instance is only used for remote access, and is seperate from the active directory domain name.
If your ISP blocks port 80 and 443, and you dont intend to use remote access anyway, the wizard will likely not complete successfully whether you have a valid domain name or not.

We did that, but it just doesn't seem to be able to connect. So basically we tried to connect to our network and insert the password, but afterwards it does nothing. Weird thing is also that the network symbol (top right of the screen) says that it has been connected, but when I go look at the system preferences --> network, it states that it has not been connected
