How do i spend all my money to change stores when i only have 19 cents left?
i am a member on this online site called freeappdaily and you earn points by downloading free apps and with those points you can get paid apps for free. i earned enough points to buy the app i really wanted so it gave me a code to redeem at the app store so i put the code in, but then a message popped up saying 'This code is only valid for customers of the United States Store.' i was sorta ticked off because i spent my day earning these points to get an app then it doesnt work! so i tried to change my country to usa but it said 'You have a store balance; you must spend your balance before you can change stores.' i only have 19 cents left on my account so if theres anyway to get rid of that money or another way to change my country or redeem the code then please let me know!!! thank you - Sara
You can only buy/dowload content from your own country's store - if you are not in the US then youcan't download from it. To be able to but from another country's store you need a valid billing address in that country and be in that country when buying/downloading from it.

How do you stop app's going across 2 iphones when you only have 1 apple ID for itunes?
I have an iPhone, iPad & iMac which is all set up lovely. However my girlfriend now has a iPhone too so I have set up her phone with my apple ID for itunes but her own one for emails etc.
The issue I am having is that when ever she down loads an app it appears on my phone as well, how do I stop this my friends think I'm changing my ways with all these girly apps apearing on my phone at random??Hi Oxford_lad,
apart from you treating your girlfriend to well, you just have to deactivate automatic downloading!
Enabling Automatic Downloads on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Tap Settings > iTunes & App Stores on your device.
Tap Sign In if you're not already signed in to the iTunes Store.
Enter your Apple ID and password.
Tap On/Off switch to enable or disable Automatic Downloads for each content type. -

How come although iPads are getting more powerful, the iOS apps from apple are so mediocre and just not that great? We spend all this money for the latest ipad and all we get is these $5 video and music apps from apple. Why create the iOS platform and only offer so so apps like IMovie and GarageBand ? While other developers are offering much better apps like pinnacle studio for video, Cubasis and Auria for music production, apple has not showed much growth in terms of innovation. While there's nothing wrong with making an app like GarageBand where "anyone " can make a song, how about something for real musicians or an app not so basic as it get for video editing? After spending 0ver $700 on an ipad I'd be willing to spend more than $5 for a better video or audio app.
First, try a system reset although I can't give you any confidence. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. -

You can't change countries whilst you have a balance. Use a different iCloud account on each device.
Don't use iCloud at all.
Disable Bluetooth.
Don't connect to the same wi-fi network on all the devices.
Go to Settings > FaceTime and turn it off.
Go to Settings > FaceTime on the devices and disable 'iPhone Cellular Calls'.
Any of these will work, but the last one is probably best. -

You can always setup your GMail account on your Mac as a POP3 account, and then flag GMail to mark all messages new. The next mail check would cause your mail app to download all the messages on teh GMail server to your mail client. Once they are in your mail client, you manage them locally in there, and it won't matter if the GMail host account goes away or not, because POP3 works with the local data once it is downloaded form the server.
Be advised that doing this can cause you to redownload thousands (or hundreds of thousands) of emails depending upon your email volume and how long you have been using GMail. If I do this, my GMail wants to re-send close to 6GB of data to me again because I have been using GMail for about as long as it has existed, and I average 100-200 emails a day on that account. -

I guess you could try but I don't believe Apple can help with activation lock issues. They may, however, be able to determine if the Apple ID belongs to one of you and reset the password for you if you can prove your identity.
You might want to try calling Apple by going to https://expresslane.apple.com; click 'More Products and Services, then 'Apple ID'. In the next page select 'Other Apple ID Topics' then 'Lost or forgotten Apple ID password'. Perhaps they can help determine if it's your ID and reset the password for you (and they probably have more expertise in doing this than the Apple store). -

Ok, I have deleted EVERYTHING off my 16gb ipad. Photos, music, apps. All I have are the standard apps. It says I have used 11gb and only have 1.6 left. When I first bought it I had up to 4 movies and lots of apps, no problems. What's going on please!?
