How do I start/restart SCEP install manually ?

I have a workstation that failed SCEP install because it could not uninstall the previous AV software. I manually uninstalled the old Av software and now waiting for SCEP to install again. Is there a way for us impatient folks to manually start the reinstall
for SCEP with a command line or something. "My automation is working in general - I just dont want to wait."

You can run the SCEPInstall.exe from the ConfigMgr client directory. The silent install can be triggered like this:
scepinstall.exe /s /q.

The installer should have gone into your Apple Software Update folder:
C:\USERS\<user name>\AppData\Local\Apple\Apple Software Update
Right mouse click the msi file and select INSTALL

My battery has started to Bulge and I am having the usual problems I have read about with this issue, the trackpad isn't working, premature shutdown, etc. I am living thousands of miles away from an Apple Store so I have given the battery to a friend to either get replaced or buy a new one. I know there will be a reduction in performance but I am not worried about that at the moment as I need some of the info of my hard disk. It can't run any slower than it is at the moment, it's dead.

Kappy Thanks I have started it again. I actually found this thread and tried it yesterday before my question but nothing worked. I left the computer uplugged over night and thought I had nothing to lose so I tried it agian this morning and it actually worked this time. I only had to use the Restart (Control-Command-Power) option not the SMC reset. Leaving the power disconnected must have cleared something somewhere.

I noted that one of the updates in the list for my wife's iMac was an update to Software Update itself. Probably to fix this very problem. But it wasn't being applied due to Software Update itself not working.
I considered two solutions.
(1) Uncheck all the updates except that one update to Software Update. Then after fixing Software Update, apply all the other updates remaining. I did NOT try this approach.
(2) Download and install the "combo update" for 10.6 -- from here

I decided to try solution #2. It's a large download, 1 GB, but the whole process took less than 15 minutes. The "combo" update checks and reapplies every update since the beginning of 10.6, so if something is missing or amiss, it gets filled in. It's done manually, by downloading the update, opening the .dmg file, and running the update. When I did this, it fixed the Software Update issue because I then reran Software Update and additional, new updates were found and they all installed fine. Software Update was working as it should. I then ran it a third time and some additional ones were found, also then successfully applied. Finally, no new updates were found by Software Update, which mean everything is up to date.
I can't be sure if your issue is the same as mine (the bug in the CNET article above) but I'm guessing that the combo update will resolve your issue.

I have found a temporary solution, allowing the previous version of iTunes (v. 11.1.3 (x64) in my case) to be re-installed. It will allow you to re-establish use of iTunes until the Apple software engineers fix the most recent disasterous upgrade (v. 11.1.4). Did you downloaded and installed Photoshop and Illustrator CS6 through Creative Cloud.
After uninstalled them, Creative Cloud saying applications are "Up to Date" when not installed.
If this is the case then please perform the steps given in the help document.

I cannot find an Icon for the Sql Server on my Desktop to start the Sql program. There is only an icon for the Server Installation Center.
How do I start the Sql server. I tried opening the AdventureWorks Database but I cant open it.

When I installed Sql I chose Windows Login. After Installing I logged into Sql server using windows account. Should I have chosen an Sql account instead.

Locate the folder on drive where AD mdf and ldf file reside. Right click on folder select properties and then select security tab. Click on add and then type account name and search and add it

Where did you buy it? facetime is barred from devices sold in some countries, due to the countries insisting upon it. UAE and other middle eastern countries are examples.

Like Torsten said, how can you tell the difference between CM12 installed applications and locally installed? Once you can answer that, then you can write report.
