This is my first post, so please treat me gently
My partner and me have both just got 3g iphones, we love them but have one slight prob with them.
When we connect our phones to our itunes account, contact details from both phones are replaced with all the contacts from each of the 2 phones.
How can we stop this happening? i.e. ensure that my contacts stop on my iphone only and my partners contacts on their iphone only? (and we don't get each others).
Sorry if this has been answered before, but I couldn't find it when searching.

Hey Rawlad,
You can create a folder in Outlook or Windows Address Book and then sync the selected folder.
In iTunes, just click the iPhone> Info tab> Check sync contacts> Selected groups.
You can also Reset the Sync History in the iTunes preferences window as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1692
Resetting the Sync History would would make iTunes ask if you want to merge or replace contacts.
Make sure you have at least one contact syncing from the PC before choosing the merge option, so they can merge.

I first imported contacts to my iphone from Windows Address Book/Palm Desktop as I was not using Outlook at the time. I decided to switch to Outlook2007 so I could sync my calandars.

I decided to delete the dupes from the bottom up on the iphone, and when I synced to Outlook2007 it erased all of the phone numbers for many of my contacts on my computer, but not on my iphone. How can I get my phone numbers back on my computer?

The words "Air Play" are mentioned nowhere in any of my devices. Even so, that would not make it any less confusing.
The question is: how did 384 photos land in "Photo Streaming" on my I-Phone when I delete photos off the I-Phone every time I download to I-Photo? They had to have come from somewhere, and I-Cloud seems the most likely culprit.

How do I stop everything sharing between 2 iPhones registered to my ID. I can't delete either.

I recently upgraded to an iPhone 5 and gave my mother my 4. However she doesn't own a computer so it's registered to my ID. Sooooo......now EVERYTHING that is downloaded is to BOTH phones and it's driving me to distraction and clogging up my phone. I don't want 4 different solitaire and 2 tv apps on my phone and she doesn't want my music being downloaded onto her playlist etc.

If possible, I recommend having separate Apple IDs for both you and your mother so that each person can have their own information associated with their Apple ID. You can create a new Apple ID here:

Then you can change the Apple ID signed into the iTunes & App Store:

If this is not a possibility for your situation, you can continue using the same Apple ID, but adjust a few settings so not everything is shared.
First, I recommend turning off Automatic Downloads so that purchased music and apps are not automatically downloaded to each device. Follow the steps in the section titled "Enabling Automatic Downloads on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch" to turn off Automatic Downloads but disable each form of media so items do not download:

Lastly, I recommend checking the iCloud settings if either of you use iCloud. You can choose to disable syncing of specific iCloud features or log out of iCloud completely on your mother's device:

Thanks for the response, but correct if I'm wrong: I just could use this option to export to war file if I had the source code and the project created under the eclipse IDE. If so, I'm not able to do that, since I haven't received any source code from this vendor. I have only received one windows installer which installs the war files inside the weblogic domain\server folder.
I thought that there was an option under the weblogic administration console -> domain -> deployments which would let me export an existing application to a war file.
So far, I've found one work around that is:
* Run the windows installer of this app into a weblogic running on a windows box ;
* Once the deployment is up, go into the PATH where this application is running inside the weblogic and generate a war file with all the existing files ;
* Open the weblogic administration console of the linux box;
* Import the war file ;

Sorry. This doesn't make a lot of sense. Each iPhone user should have their own cloud accounts with which to sync contacts.
The iPhone is not a multi-user device.

But I really want to know how can I measure phase difference between two signals( not predefined... ie we don't know the initial conditions) using hilbert transform or any transformation techniques (without using zero cross detection).. Tried to make a simple cut edit for tv news.

Detach audio, then create audio only scenario, then add transition ? Unusable.
When importing 8 tracks from Xdcam HD, how do you choose wich audio track to add your transition to ?
Also, impossible to re-export to Xdcam disk on the field.
This piece of software is simply unusable in real life pro conditions. Some very nice features, globally a disaster.

I found these solutions myself but for me these are only workaround.
In Fcp7, you just had to drag and drop dissolve transition to clips junctions TO AUDIO TRACK ONLY. Very quick and simple. In Fcpx, it is very time consuming if you want to add audio crossfade to every clip junction in a full project. That's really not a software evolution in my opinion...
I think "easy transitions to audio tracks only" has to be implemented in next version.
