I have given my mum my 4s but when I change contacts on my 6 it changes it on 4s too, how do I stop this please

No, it's not unlikely at all, I see it quite frequently. Though I would never consider sharing an email account with someone else, many people (often couples or families) do.

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted. If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). You can go into settings, mail, contacts and calendars, and set your mail to only download the last 50.
When you actually set upthe account, you can go into any available advanced settings and see if that can be set to new mail only. Unfortunately, every mail provider had slightly different things they'll allow you to tweak, so you just have to play to see what you can do.
For example, when I set up my Yahoo, I have different things I can tweak than I do on my Hotmail account, so some accounts allow more ability to tweak than others.

Are you attempting to save the file to a network location instead of your local hard drive? If so, this is probably why you are encountering an issue and why Adobe Drive would be the solution. As we've documented, it is a bad idea to open from or save directly to a network source: Networks, removable media | Photoshop | CS4 and later. Drive can help you get around this by setting up an Adobe supported virtual connection to the network. Thus, if installing Adobe Drive is the solution you need and your need help with installing Drive, please post to the Downloading, Installing, Setting Up forum.
If you are not saving to a network location, then Adobe Drive is not going to be the answer. Then we'll need to know more about the file you are saving.

I have found if you iTunes open while importing photos to iPhoto it will quit unexpectedly - try closing iTunes. Also, try selecting and importing 100 or fewer photos per import...seems like it quits more often when trying to transfer large quantities (like over 200 photos).
I wish Apple would update iPhoto with the same auto-sync feature in iTunes so I could sync photo libraries between computers without trying to figure out which ones are new (although as of this posting the other option is purchasing a 3d party photo sync program).

I've spent over 3 hours on the phone/chatting to online support and none of it seemed to help as it all revolved around resetting emails etc but can't do any of it without my access to my old email. If you are trying to do this with iCloud, make sure your Mac is running OS X Lion (10.7.2) or higher, then go to Settings>iCloud on your phone, sign in with your Apple ID to create your account, turn Contacts to On, then on your Mac go to System Preferences>iCloud, sign into your account and check Contacts.
If you only want to import a copy of your contacts from your Mac to your phone without using iCloud, do the following:
Open Contacts (Address Book) on your Mac, go to View>Groups.
Click on the All Contacts group, select any contact to the right, thengo to Edit>Select All (Command-A) to select them all.
Export to a vCard by going to File>Export>vCard, save this on your desktop.
Send an email to yourself with this file as an attachment.
Open the email on your iPhone and tap the attachment to import the contacts to your phone.

My partner and me have both just got 3g iphones, we love them but have one slight prob with them.
When we connect our phones to our itunes account, contact details from both phones are replaced with all the contacts from each of the 2 phones.
How can we stop this happening? i.e. ensure that my contacts stop on my iphone only and my partners contacts on their iphone only? (and we don't get each others).

Hey Rawlad,
You can create a folder in Outlook or Windows Address Book and then sync the selected folder.
In iTunes, just click the iPhone> Info tab> Check sync contacts> Selected groups.
You can also Reset the Sync History in the iTunes preferences window as described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1692
Resetting the Sync History would would make iTunes ask if you want to merge or replace contacts.
Make sure you have at least one contact syncing from the PC before choosing the merge option, so they can merge.

I have always kept this option unchecked. I've looked again just now and the option has remained unchecked. For some reason iTunes 'selected' 4 (that I've noticed) out of my 1775 albums and did its automatic update anyway. I guess this is a bug in the latest version, perhaps during the updating process.
I've changed the album art back to what I want and will keep an eye on them. I'll feed back to this thread if iTunes changes the art again.
