How do I stop Creative Cloud window opening automatically on Mac?

Have been through system preferences/users and groups/login items and it's not listed
added the app and deleted, still opens automatically
any ideas?

Open Creative Cloud desktop application, click on the Settings button at the right top corner, go to Preferences -> General Tab -> Settings and uncheck "Launch at Log in" option.

When you open CS6 the CC opens in trial mode. In the trial screen do you see any option to License this software. If yes, select License this software and sign in with your Adobe id and password. When prompted enter the CS6 key.

How can I stop from second window opening small in Safari and browser bar floating in and out like the dock?

Every so often I will click on a link in safari and it opens a second window. It opens it small. I can click the two diagonal arrow in the upper right hand corner and go to full view but then the browser bar at th top and all the Safari stuff like file, edit, view, history etc float up out of site. Much like the disappearing dock I can get it come back by going up by it. This is very frustrating. I have fixed it in the past but each time it is very difficult to find out how to do it. First why does this start happening? and if it does how can I get it to go back to the normal way? I will then bookmark the answer so I will be able to fix it quickly if it happens again.

Every so often,(3 times in 4 months), I will click on a web site and a new window will open much smaller than the standard window. I can enlarge the window by click the two arrows in the upper right hand corner but the menu bar disappears and reappears if you hover over it. I tried what some said above and when the window was small dragged it to the same size as the window under it, menu bars all visible. I closed that window and reopened it and it opened small again. I can go for several weeks and all additional windows open the correct size and with menus visible, then it goes into this mode. Everything running Lion 10.7.2 and Sarafi 5.1.1
I straightened it out one time or got it to stop doing that but don't remember how I did it. My husband fixed it the second time and he isn't around today. Anyone able to help?

When I open up a new tab, it also opens up a new window with all of my current tabs present. So I have 2-3 windows open, all with the same tabs. Closing a tab you're on will also close the respective window and vice-versa.

If the message being deleted was the last message then the message immediately above this message opens even if its already been read. That is a simple WIndows setting you need to adjust. Your Parallels seems to have changed the default "open with" program in your windows installation. The way to fix it depends upon your version of Windows, but you can probably get there my holding down teh shift key and clicking the right mouse button on the file you are trying to open. Doing that should add a new line to the right-click menu "Open with..." select that and in the pop-up select your windows app you want to use, and check the checkbox to make it the default app for that file extension.

Yes. Control Panel for Windows.
On the Mac under Applications look in the Utiilities folder and you will see an Adobe Installers folder. Inside there you will see links like 'Uninstall Adobe InDesign CS6'.

Stop Verizon Cloud from loading automatically

How do I stop Verizon Cloud from loading automatically whenever I turn on my desktop computer? I seldom need to use it and I don't need it hogging memory, as my computer is old and slow enough as it is. The program itself does not seem to have an option to prevent automatic loading, nor do I see it listed in msconfig when I run that. BTW, I have a Dell PC running Windows Vista.
I don't want to flat-out delete the program, as I do use it occasionally; I just don't want it loading every day.

I don't think there is a built-in option to restore a session but not load the last active tab in each window...
What if you switch Firefox to "Work Offline" before restoring the session? On the classic menu bar:
File menu > Work Offline
To display the classic menu bar temporarily if you ordinarily use the compact menu (orange Firefox button), you can tap the Alt key or press F10.
Of course, even if that works, it doesn't help with closing a tab and getting the deferred load of the next tab you view. Hmmm. Maybe there's an add-on for this.
