How do I stop getting "MEET MOZILLA FIRE FOX" for the startup screen?

As well, most, but not all, of my bookmarks have lost their icons. Showing a blank square where they used to proceed the text.

None of this helped! When opening FireFox I still get two tabs opening.
First tab - "Getting Started With Mozilla Firefox"
Second Tab - " Mozilla Firefox Start Page "
The original version of Firefox was fine. Since the upgrade to version " 8 " I have had this problem, as well as the loading problem. Type in an address hit enter. Churns away for a very long time befor going. Some times never does go.OR Stop the loading that has not started then immediatly click on the go again and it goes almost emmediatly?

I keep getting the error message ATH.exe has stopped working. How do I fix the problem so I don't the error message anymore?

There is a problem that Apple needs to fix (ha ha.. there are many but I digress) with ATH hanging after an ios device has been removed from the USB slot.
Re-inserting the device creates a new ATH instance which has some kind of conflict with the existing (hung) instance.
The solution is to end the process using CTRL-Alt-DEL and under processes there will mostlikely be two (or more). Kill them both, re-insert your device and it should sync OK.
Apple - please fix this (and the firewall problem) immediately.

I have created an web dynpro application and the application is working fine in Internet Explorer, but when I am trying to run the same application in Mozilla Firefox browser I am getting an error stating that "The page you are tying to view contains POSTDATA.If you resend the data, any action the form carried out(such as search or online purchase) will be repeated.To resend the data, click OK Other wise, click Cancel"

I suggest you that download the last version of Mozilla, some controls doesn´t work in some versions of this explorer, that not confirm that your application runs fine.Unfortunatelly Mozilla is not 100% supported by SAP.

I am changing over to Google Chrome and I went into my control Panel to delete Mozilla Fire Fox Browser and it Says that I must close the browser first. I HAVE IT CLOSED . I am trying to change browsers because My Adobe Flash Player CRASHED and I can NOT update the new plug-in because it gets 50% loaded and it stops and asks me to close Mozilla Fire Fox first . BUT the browser is NOT even OPEN... I am Logged into Google Chrome trying to update my Adobe Flash Player and IT SAYS please close Mozilla Fire FOX .. Well, I can try to do one of several things here:
1. Help you fix Firefox and update your adobe flash.
or
2. Help you uninstall Firefox.
Let's do #1 first.
* Open the task manager (it appears you are actually using Windows XP?). Just use Ctrl+Alt+Delete.
* Now go to the processes tab, and find "firefox.exe" (without the quotes), Select it, then click "End Process".
* Or, if you want to, just restart your PC (this should always fix the problem of Firefox saying it's open when it isn't)
* Download Adobe Flash from [http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_11_plugin_32bit.exe here]. Run it.
* Start Firefox back up. It seems that the most likely reason for you having firefox.exe hang at shutdown is a bad extension, so you can try [[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]] to diagnose if you have more problems.

It is Kaspersky that is doing that. It intercepts the content and passes that image to Firefox instead of the real content. You should complain on the Kaspersky forum about this if you disagree with the decision made by Kaspersky to send such an image in this case.
You can look at Adblock Plus instead.

The Mac has an App that is called Messages and one of the accounts in it is the iMessages one that can sync with the iOS one.
Open the Messages app and go to the Preferences (In the drop down Menu in the Apps name in the Menu Bar)
In the Preferences select the Accounts tab.
Select the iMessages account if it is not selected.
Untick the iPhone Number to stop iMessages sent to your iPhone Number appearing on your Mac.
Also go to the General section of the Preferences.
There is an items that reads "When I quit, set the Status to Off Line" select this.
This will stop any incoming Messages (from any source that Messages can join) from launching to app when you have not started it but your Computer is On.
You may also want to go to your iPhone Settings and remove the Apple ID.

There is an option in your Lightroom preferences on the General tab, "Treat JPEG files next to raw files as separate images". If you have that option checked then Lightroom will import and display both your raw and JPEG files. Are you using active D-lighting on your camera? If you are then you need to turn off that feature.
