How do i stop my tabs from showing in cantonese language?

i was searching for a cantonese film a few weeks ago just after the last update, i accidentally skipped the update information part. and now my tabs keep changing to cantonese to the point where i can click on my tabs, open new ones or cross off them normally, i have tried uninstalling firefox and reinstalling it, i have even tried installing the british language pack, but nothing seems to be working, this is really annoying and i can find no way of stopping it. please can you tell me how i can fix this as i do not wish to use any other browser. The McAfee SiteAdvisor extension has been reported to cause issues with text Chinese appearing on tabs, so you can disable this extension.

It just puts a mini VM control menu at the top when running full screen (and that's configurable, too), so the main menu bar doesn't appear at all. Which means that it's up to Parallels to handle this. Are you running Parallels 7, which is designed for Lion? If you are and Parallels still doesn't offer something similar, you need to contact Parallels.

It is also possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

I do not want multiple windows or multiple tabs. In older Firefox versions just one window could be set, using the page history to go backwards or forwards. How do you disable new tabs or new windows from automatically opening in firefox 7?

How do I stop Finder-Tabs from closing after ShutDown / Restart???

Hi,
After opening several Tabs in Finder, I find they have closed after I´ve shut down & then (Later), restart my Mac Mini.
The Safari tabs stay open.
Cant find anything in `Finder Preferences´ or in `System Preferences´.
I tried Deleting:
~/Library/Saved Application State/com.apple.finder.savedState
(Thanks to Carolyn Samit, but not a permanent fix)
And also copied & pasted to Terminal:
defaults write com.apple.finder NSQuitAlwaysKeepsWindows -bool true
(Thanks to Miska for tip, but not a permanent fix)
These two actions worked for two Shut Downs / Restarts.
But I have just started up my Mac Mini after turning it off last night, and ALL the Finder-Tabs I left open are gone again!!!
(Just the main Finder window is open!).
Of course, I have "Reopen all windows after Shut Down / Restart" checked.
(The Safari Tabs stay open!).
Anyone know how to get round this, and how to keep the Finder-Tabs open after Shut Down / Restart???

How do I stop random tabs from opening on their own?

ok, every time I open firefox it opens my usual tabs and everything's fine. But after a while for no reason at all it'll just open a random tab so some random website relevant to what I'm looking at or searching at the time. For example I was looking up how to make a visual arts portfolio, and it randomly opened a site that I could buy portfolio covers from. Overall it's just extremely annoying.
I've done several things to try and remedy the problem such as uninstalling and reinstalling firefox, using various addons such as addblock plus, BlockSite, NoScript, an AVG toolbar, as well as running various virus and malware scans using Malware Bytes, AVG, Spybot S&D, Avast, and Combo Fix. So far nothing has worked, obviously. So now I'm down to the point of frustration, because I can't figure out what the problem is, and neither can my computer geek friends. Help would be really appreciated.

When restoring a session with many tabs, how do I stop the tabs from reloading even when I am offline?

In version 4, when restoring a previous session with many tabs (about 80) in offline mode with no internet connection, the tabs will realise there is no connection and will not load. In version 5, the tabs will constantly try to reload no matter how long the internet connection is not active and as soon as I connect to the internet, all the tabs try to load and will cause huge RAM usage and I have to shut down the browser. I want version 5 to be like 3 and 4 and not try reload all the tabs once it has detected no connection.

Unlink a phone number
To remove a phone number from an Apple ID, sign out of FaceTime and Messages on your iPhone:
Settings > Messages > Send & Receive. Tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.
Settings > FaceTime. Tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.
This should remove your phone number from other devices using the same Apple ID with FaceTime and Messages. If the phone number is still available on other devices after you sign out of FaceTime and iMessage on the iPhone, you may need to sign out of iMessage and FaceTime on all your devices, then sign in to FaceTime and Messages again on devices you want to use.
Note: If you no longer have access to the iPhone that is using the number you want to remove, reset your Apple ID password.

How do I stop Voice Memos from showing up in the iPod App?

I have an iPhone 4. I do not want Voice Memos to pass through to the iPod app. I really don't want them in iTunes either, but I can live with that I suppose. In iTunes, in the iPhone section, under the Music tab, "Include Voice Memos" is NOT checked. However, after I record new voice memos, the next time I sync, they go into iTunes and right into the iPod app. Then when I'm playing the "Recently Added " playlist (my new music), I hear my voice ("And here is my recap of today's marketing meeting") which I do NOT want to hear in iPod. In Mac Mail 7.1 How do you stop incoming mail from showing all related mail. The link at the top doesn't do the trick.

When I receive an email every single mail that has the same subject shows up in the inbox as a separate email. It is very confusing when you see a bunch of emails and have to try to figure out the actual order. The point is that I simply do not want to see all the other emails in the same window. All I want to do is read the current email. And if that particular email has any previous emails in the email thats OK but what is happening is you see the related email twice. This was not occurring in the previous version. The botton on the top that says Hide Related Emails does not work continuously. I am using Maverick.

From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
and confirm. Test.

Added dynamic text; How do I stop variable name from showing?

I am creating a simple game for kids. On the first page, I added an "input text" field for their first name. I called the variable firstname.
When they move to the next page, I used a "dyanamic text" field so I can call them by name on this page. It works. However, When I test the game, on the first page, where the firstname is input, it shows _level0.firstname instead of just a blank space for them to input their name.
I know I fixed this in the past and it was something simple, but I can't remember how to do it. I'd appreciate anyone's help!
