How do I stop the application check everytime I open itunes? I have 200 apps and to have to click 200 times for every app to confirm I do not want to replace my newer version with an older version is a serious bug! Is there something to click off the check, I have already told the preferences to stop checking for new software!

I have resolved the problem. Steps to resolution:
1. Deleted all applications inside the folder "Automatically added to iTunes," many of those apps were also inside the Mobile Applications folder.
2. Next, I uninstalled iTunes, and downloaded the latest version of iTunes.
3. Restarted the computer.
4. Installed the newest version of iTunes.
This repaired the problem.

This isn't the fault of firefox. Firefox is a web browser, not your email provider. I'd suggest contacting them (whoever you use, gmail, yahoo, etc.) and asking for help.

everytime i open itunes, the beachball comes on!!!! I have all the latest software updates. Itunes immediately load on the store and then when i swith to my library it freezes when it gets to my library. I close all of my running applications and shutdown my computer as well because i thought that there might be some interference. I dont know if it has something to do with it attempting to try and download 8 podcasts either. but i tried to pause them being downloaded and right when i do that, i get the beachball as well.
What is the deal. I got a macbook 1.83 intel processor, 120 GB hard drive and and 2 GB of memory!!!!!

How to stop the welcome page everytime I open a webpage? I did register, so why does it keep popping up?

How do I stop the firefox sidebar from flipping open and shut non-stop and driving me to almost smash my keyboard through the screen???

I love firefox but the sidebar is a massive turn-off. It flips open and shut when your pointer inadvertently goes near the thing. If I had just started with firefox and had no history of it being brilliant (apart from insanely slow to open) I would never give it a second look. Dump the dumb sidebar thing or make it so you at least have to click it. As it is it's the single most annoying thing I've encountered in computers since I had windows Vista as an operating system - and we know how that story ended...yes in tears.
Don't let that happen to firefox - it is too fantastic for a pathetic feature like this to unwind all the hard work of countless people around the world.
If you cant piss it off for good at least make controlling it a primary informative guidline in Help.

Sounds that you have installed an extension that has added that feature because Firefox doesn't do that by default.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

How do I stop the annoying sound alerts when opening up a new production?

I'm sure I'm not the only one going through this so I thought I'd ask. I'm running FCSver and whenever I open up a new production or asset, I get this annoying "alert" sound effect (the Sosumi under system preferences), and I was wondering if anyone knew how to turn this off. I'll keep looking, and I'll post if I find anything, but if anyone knew the answer, or could point me to another post, I'd really appreciate it.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that you've got a custom timecode field somewhere in your production and/or asset metadata group(s), right? And I'm going to further guess that this timecode field has dashes in it like this --:--:--:--, right? If so, try this: Click the arrow next to the timecode field and adjust the timecode so that it has a number (it doesn't matter what the number is as long it's not dashes - "00:00:00:00" is fine). Then Save this asset, close it and then reopen it and see if the beeping madness has vanished. Then, to make this change permanent for all of your new assets, make sure to edit the default value of any custom timecode fields to put zeros (or some other numeric default value) into them when a new asset is generated. If the asset still beeps when you open it, check the other metadata groups in your set to see if there isn't another empty timecode field lurking in the shadows.

How do we stop the credit check in VA02? We have used the functionality called Released documents are still unchecked and we have given Deviation in % as 999 and Number days as 999. This functionality is not working in few scenarios like maximum order values exceeds or maximum open items exceeds the specified percentage inOVA8 configuration.
We have tried to use one customized routine and it is causing some other issues. Can you please provide is there any other way to stop the credit check in VA02 transaction code.

User t.ocde OVA8 - Automatic credit control, here you can restrict to system under tab "Released documents are still unchecked' for rechecking the released order after change via VA02.
You can write an routine and assign under document controlling tab for no credit check under cretain senario.
