How do I stop the Cp from advancing automatically to the next slide?

I'm using Windows NT and Adobe Captivate 4.
Until now, I've been creating demos in Cp4 where the movie file just continues to the next slide automatically. Now I'm making the Cp files more interactive and would like to know how to make the movie not advance to the next screen automatically. In other words, I'd like the user to have to click the Next button to move to the next slide.

Hi there
You do this by inserting a Click Box or a Button object on each slide. Either of these objects will typically pause the slide until clicking the object or another action makes it proceed.

In iTunes use the File menu "Transfer purchases from..." item. Ordinarily you will get a warning to do this before an update. Presumably your computer is authorized to use your account and it is the computer to which you normally sync your iPod?

I have a keynote presentation that i want to export in QT at the end.
I have a slide 1 with just a video in full screen.
I wish i could go to the slide 2 at any time of slide 1 video.
It work in keynote when i launch the slideshow but not in QT export !!!
In qt export, the video of slide 1 play from the start to the end and i can't click to go to next slide !!!
Is it possible ?

Using Keynote version 6.3, there is no setting in QT export to manually advance.
The only choice is self - playing.

Go to System Prefs>Accounts>your name and remove Adobe from the start-up items. There should also be a place in Adobe preferences that asks if you want it to launch when the computer starts, Deselect that option.

Go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and check the box that says "Prevent iPods....syncing". Then, with the iPod connected to the computer you can chack the appropirate boxes in the Muisic pane for the iPod and check which songs you want on the iPod and Connie 9 suggested.

Stop Verizon Cloud from loading automatically

How do I stop Verizon Cloud from loading automatically whenever I turn on my desktop computer? I seldom need to use it and I don't need it hogging memory, as my computer is old and slow enough as it is. The program itself does not seem to have an option to prevent automatic loading, nor do I see it listed in msconfig when I run that. BTW, I have a Dell PC running Windows Vista.
I don't want to flat-out delete the program, as I do use it occasionally; I just don't want it loading every day.

I don't think there is a built-in option to restore a session but not load the last active tab in each window...
What if you switch Firefox to "Work Offline" before restoring the session? On the classic menu bar:
File menu > Work Offline
To display the classic menu bar temporarily if you ordinarily use the compact menu (orange Firefox button), you can tap the Alt key or press F10.
Of course, even if that works, it doesn't help with closing a tab and getting the deferred load of the next tab you view. Hmmm. Maybe there's an add-on for this.

I opened a new iCloud.com account yesterday because I could not figure out how to get in the old ones. I want to delete the original @me & original iCloud account. I have the OPPOSITE problem most people have -- Windows Sharing works TOO WELL.
I've donated a refurbished eMac to the local homeless shelter. I figured I'd made the system secure, and prevented any monkey business. Turns out the windows machines on the network are COMPLETELY insecure (guest access to everything is enabled). The problem is that the Mac is TOO friendly -- it automatically connects to the server as a guest, and happily presents everything to the user.
I've tried a dozen different things (I've removed the 'Shared' section from the sidebar in the Finder windows (Go->Network is still there, Doh.), tried to turn off File Sharing, and even disabled the mount_smbfs command in the /sbin directory with "chmod 0 mount_smbfs".)
I've asked the folks there to call in a PC tech and fix their security problem -- but it's a good question to which I've found no suitable answer... How to I stop the Mac from connecting to SMB Shares on the local network?

Same problem, keep getting a pop up with connection failed you do not have permission to access the server. The server is a windows 7 box, Starting happening after an up grade to windows 7. the problem is when I Select a value from department or jobs ( combo box with list of values )
fires the entire filed validations for mandatory atributes
Note : the af:table Property ( contedelivery) is set to (immediate )
