I am considering subscribing to the Creative Cloud in order to use Lightroom 5 to edit and organize my photos (I used to use Aperture and the editing tools in the Apples Photos app are not sufficiently robust). However I must be able to stream my photos to AppleTV. How do I do this?

Some options:
- Via Home Sharing: Configure the Apple TV to do Home Sharing with your computer. Make a folder "Apple TV" and configure iTunes to share pics in that folder (and its subfolders), using File > Home Sharing > Choose Photos To Share With Apple TV. Export the pics you want to view from LR to subfolders of "Apple TV".
- Via Airplay from your computer: Turn on Airplay on your computer to share its screen with your Apple TV. Then run LR and display the photos in LR, and they'll be shared with the Apple TV.
- Via Airplay from an iPad running Lightroom Mobile: Sync the desired LR collections with LR Mobile. Run LR Mobile on the iPad and share its screen with the Apple TV via Airplay.
There are probably other variants as well.

That's normal - remember it's a limited portable device.
You could Airplay from iTunes to both using multiple speaker mode (or download Remote app and control itunes and multiple speakers using that in teh palm of your hand).

If you can get it on your iPad (or Mac) and it meets the spec with the right ios you can mirror your screen so the NBT TV plays via apple tv. Apple TV cannot add features if the designers don't allow it, I think the issue is with NBA TV not wanting in not with Apple.

Get an AirPort Express. It has an audio out which you can connect to the line-in on your home theatre system. All the other devices will talk to the AirPort Express and stream content to it via wi-fi.

No, not directly.. but to get the movies onto your iPad you need to sync them on there from your computer running iTunes.. you can likewise sync those same movies from your computer running iTunes to the appleTV..

most reliable method found is get an AppleTV hooked to TV, and get program called BEAMER (free trial or $15 purchase application). Lots of programs CAN stream to TV via wifi, but many of them get audio syncing wrong/bad. I don't know what AppleTV can handle as far as bit rate is concerned, but increase the bit rate as high as it will let you. You are taking DV which is 25Mb/s and compressing it. If you're making an H.264, you should get great results needing no more than 6Mb/s. Bear in mind, the higher the bit rate, the larger the file size.

Next I purchased an apple lightning to DVI adaptor. Then I plugged the DVI into this Lindy DVI to component converter. It also failed at all resolutions. None worked for SD resolutions either.

After hunting for a solution someone suggested that HDCP protection might be my problem. Apparently in an effort to keep people form pirating movies Microsoft and apple use HDCP to keep people form making this conversion? I'm nor sure how this works I just know that I am leagaly allowed to incorporate brief news clips into my news comentary on my youtub channel so long as I cite them and add to them substantially. I do both. So is HDCP my issue? If so what is the work around?

NewTek has a program called IVGA that will allow me to share my screen over my local network but the frame rate is horribly choppy and is not useful for capturing video clips form youtube or game play.
Bottom line how do I stream high quality (720 /24p minimum) video from my iMac to a device that only accepts component video in.

I did end up using an apple thunderbolt to DVI.

On my iMac:
I had to go into my device settings > Display
then I set the "Optimize for:" to "CAT-6066"
after that I selected the "Scaled" option right underneath
then i selected 1080i because the Kanex Pro is designed to convert 1080i into component
I was then able to get my NewTek Tricaster 40 to recognize that component signal from the Kanex Pro and add it to my production as 1080i or as 1080p/30. The frame rate looks great and the video quality is very smooth and in real time.

This data may be in raw data, binary, files, audio, video etc. As we are using HTTP protocol for web application, then how to do streaming between server and client using HTTP protocol i.e in request response manner.
If we want to send response of ~1 GB to client using servlet, then it's good idea that we should use data streaming concept. For data streaming if we use request/response architecture then servlet should send ~1 GB data in one go. Is it possible? And if we use data streaming tech. Is it our responsibility to do framing, maintaining data sequence, encoding/decoding, merge data and then store on client side?
