How do I stream?

Question

I set up a new film site and just dropped my quicktime movies
into the folder with rest of my files. Then on html page made a
link to the movie. And on Mac is starts playing quickly and
perfectly as soon as I click on link. But windows people tell me
it's a much bigger ordeal. That they have to download the clip and
the lauch a media player. So what about streaming? some say i'ts
better quality. is this true? and how do I set that up? have no
idea. thanks! (and could one offer both at same time?- how?)

There's real streaming and then there's pseudo streaming. In
terms of
usability not everyone has QT or Real Player. But just about
everyone has
Flash player.
