How do I stretch content Vertically in a WebCenter Spaces page?

I have a box at the bottom of my page with a document explorer inside. I need to have it stretch as the page stretches vertically. Can anybody help?
Thanks

the bottom of the doc explorer is a fixed distance from the top of the page. When the browser is resized vertically from the bottom, they want the bottom of the doc explorer to stay anchored to the bottom of the page and stretch as the page grows vertically. Yes it is kind of strange but the customer insists on this behavior.
Any ideas?

  • Content not displayed on webcenter spaces page tiIl I login to UCM server.

    Hi Yannick,
    I have created an html file which loads the flash file and checked in to the UCM server. I have added a content presenter on the page runtime and selected the html file as the content.
    Now when I load the page, I couldnot see the content. The content gets displayed on the page once I login to the UCM server and refresh the webcenter page.
    Please suggest the solution. I am working with Avitek Demo VM. I have stored the file in the public_images folder.
    Thanks,
    SK

    You need to assign application (spaces) role "Administrator" to your user for Admin link to see (by default weblogic user is assigned to this role)
    To add it
    Login to Fusion Middleware Control -> WebCenter -> WebCenter Spaces -> Right Click on WebCenter -> Security -> Application Role
    Add your user to role “Administrator”

    Hi All,
    How to cache a content item like a Static HTML Page from UCM to Coherence/Coherence Web?

    Hi,
    Could you explain your use case in more detail?
    It does not look like proper use of coherence to cache static content - it more suited for dynamic content like user session etc.

  • How do I center content vertically and horizontally in GoLive 9?

    Hello, I don't know a huge amount about hand-coding, but I have managed to center my content horizontally using this tutorial:
    http://www.mindpalette.com/tutorials/center_layers/index.php
    But, I want to center vertically as well. Can someone please tell me what to do to make that happen? Or, point me to a similar, easy-to-follow for someone who doesn't do a lot of hand coding? Thanks!

    Hi Jesper, ..., are you comfortable with me using your action when building web sites for my small, commercial clients?
    Certainly, but see the CareWear stipulation under legal informations on his site.
    And as he says, more clumsily, you may put everything in a single cell table, something like this:
    <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" align="center" height="100%">
    <tr align="center" valign="middle">
    <td align="center" valign="middle">

  • How to store the content of text_edit in the BSP page to infotype

    Hi experts,
    I created a bsp page with a text_edit which is for every one that read the page to leave comments...
    I tried to store the content of the text_edit to infotype, but failed, I noticed that there is a class named CL_HRRCF_INFOTYPE, has method named read_text and update_text.
    I think maybe these methods could help me fulfill the requirement,
    I've debug the standard program many times(the standard infotype 5130 used the class CL_HRRCF_INFOTYPE and the methods to store descriptions into infotype.)but still can not figure out how the standard complete the process..
    Please help me with this...
    Thank you!!

    So the issue is not with BSP but to find the appropriate method/FM for updating the text. you will get a quicker response in ABAP forum and moving your thread to ABAP forum.

    Thanks & Regards,

    Hi,
    1)Create a new View, map the context node which is bound to the table to the context of this view.
    2) Iterate throught the element and print them to the screen.
    3) Embed this view to a window.
    4) on click of the button open the newly created window.
    Code to iterate through the nodes
    for(int x=0; x< wdContext.nodeTest().size(); x++) // Replace nodeTest with yours
    ITestElement nodeElement = wdContext.nodeTest().getElementAt(x);
    nodeElement.getAttribute("TestAttribute"); //Replace with yours
    nodeElement.getAttribute("TestAttribute"); //Replace with yours

    /* Tips for Elastic layouts
    1. Since the elastic layouts overall sizing is based on the user's default fonts size, they are more unpredictable. Used correctly, they are also more accessible for those that need larger fonts size since the line length remains proportionate.
    2. Sizing of divs in this layout are based on the 100% font size in the body element. If you decrease the text size overall by using a font-size: 80% on the body element or the #container, remember that the entire layout will downsize proportionately. You may want to increase the widths of the various divs to compensate for this.
    3. If font sizing is changed in differing amounts on each div instead of on the overall design (ie: #sidebar1 is given a 70% font size and #mainContent is given an 85% font size), this will proportionately change each of the divs overall size. You may want to adjust based on your final font sizing.

    so Im having an issue that is similar but the fixes arent really working. Here is the site http://upeer.jordanselectronics.com/
    I've never worked with a page this short so it was never an issue but I want the content area to stretch 100 percent so it fills the browser window and pushes the footer to the bottom if the page is so short theres no scroll bar. I put height modifiers on the body, the wrapper(container) and the content div but it's still only as tall as the content in the content div.

    1) Padding is only placed on the top and/or bottom of the div. The elements within this div have padding on their sides. This saves you from any "box model math". Keep in mind, if you add any side padding or border to the div itself, it will be added to the width you define to create the *total* width. You may also choose to remove the padding on the element in the div and place a second div within it with no width and the padding necessary for your design.
    .content {
    background-image: url(contentbackground.png);
    padding: 25px;

    It sounds as though you may have "Object Causes Wrap" activated for the Line Shape. This will push other content away.
    See the Wrap Inspector.

  • How to display the contents of the database values which are retrived.

    how to display the contents of the database values which are retrived in servlets and i am able to display the contents in the servlets and if forward to jsp using requestdespatcher,the values are to be shown in jsp one below the other.please suggest me in these........the servlet code is as shown
    while(rs.next()){
                        buffer.append(rs.getString(1));
                        buffer.append(rs.getString(2));
                        buffer.append(rs.getString(3));
                        buffer.append(rs.getString(4));
                        buffer.append(rs.getString(5));
                        buffer.append(rs.getString(6));
                        buffer.append(rs.getString(7));
                        buffer.append(rs.getString(8));
                        buffer.append(rs.getString(9));
                        buffer.append(rs.getString(10));
                        request.setAttribute("result1",buffer);
                        RequestDispatcher rq=request.getRequestDispatcher("/results.jsp");
                        rq.forward(request,response);
    in jsp iam using the getAttribute to retrieve the values as shown
    <% StringBuffer sb=(StringBuffer)request.getAttribute("result1"); %>
    <%= sb %>
    but getting the results in the stretch,i need to display the result one below the other.

    if you load it all into the buffer that is going to be very difficult. I would suggest loading it into some sort of collection. I like using an ArrayList.
    Then pass the arraylist.
    you will then on the jsp iterate through the arrayList using what every you want.. el, logic tags, scriplets.
    so something like
    ArrayList arrayList = new ArrayList();
    while(rs.next()){
    arrayList.append(rs.getString(1));
    //or possibly an arrayList of String arrays
    //maybe using nested for loops.  Inner for loop adds result to string[] then //outer adds string[] to arrayList.
    //can be done any number of ways based on your expected result set.

    how do you get content from one ipod to the new one? my content is on an external hard drive not on my pc and i have run out of space on my 120gb classic. can you get old ipod content to new? my itunes has only got short cuts, the real content is on an external drive? can this be done?? please help

    If the content is on an external drive, but your library knows where to find it, then it should all work. Connect your device, make some selections for what to put on it, and sync. If, on the other hand, your current iPod is the only place holding some of your media then see this user tip: Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.
