How do I style the e-commerce pages using Muse?

I cant work out how to style the html pages of the catalogue/ shop pages. I have seen how to intergrate Muse and BC with a blog for example, however I cannot workout how to to the same with the shop.
It seems that Muse takes the programing out of web design and BC puts it right back.

Well there is html edit ability in Muse but it is real basic and people have stumbled through eCommerce projects using Muse - But from my opinion they are not very good. Wrong tool, missing knowledge. Not having a go at those people but just stating the facts.
Any job in any field, you want to be good at it and make cool stuff - you need to know your craft.
BC and DW will be a good start, there are other nice coding platforms for both PC and Mac out there.

You tell Pages what language the text is by selecting it and applying:
Inspector > Text > More > Language > Espagñol
Language is like bold or underlined or ALL CAPS, it is part of the text's style. In fact making it part of a style in the Styles Drawer is a quick way of applying it.
The default language is whatever you have set the System to.

Sorry Eric but that is the wrong specification and will produce a muddy brownish grey with possible registration problems particularly in small type as well as being wasteful on ink.

Open the Color Picker > click on the color slider tab > click on the color mode patch > choose Black & White > Brightness: 0% (black patch) > drag down to recognisable swatch below
To label it > click on the color sets tab (3rd tab) > click on the gear > New > Rename the set "DrD's > drag down the swatch from the bar above > Label that 100k > click on any stray swatches and rempve by clicking on the - button below
These swatches are System wide and available to any application that accesses the Color Picker. Unfortunately Apple has not seen fit to make them easily transferrable or saveable and importable.
Make the 100k swatch part of your Styles in the Styles Drawer, particularly the text to ensure it is used, you can't spot it on screen and there is no feedback anywhere that it is selected.

How do I set the default welcome page for PUBLIC user

i'm using -
Oracle 9i Database
Oracle 9ias Portal Release 2
QUESTION => how do I set the default welcome page for the PUBLIC user.
i did the following to achieve this -
1. logged into portal
2. clicked on builder
3. clicked on administer tab
4. selected PUBLIC user in the Portal User Profile portlet
5. went to the preferences tab
6. in the default home page selected a custom page group
7. logged out of portal
8. open a new browsere session
9. type the portal URL and i get the login page ....??
i'm unable to understand this behavior ... shouldn't i be getting the page group that i set for the PUBLIC user in step 6 above ....
the second QUESTION is => when the user logs out he/she should see the PUBLIC page set in step 6 above ... but, instead the user sees a page that is as follows -

Oracle Portal (portal) logout status
The SSO Server (orasso) checkmark

Hi,
The sequence of operation you are doing to set the home page for public users is correct. You are getting the login screen as the "custom page group" selected as "home page" has not been granted to public.
Also, while logging-out, it is normal behaviour to get the screen where it shows the list of partner applications from where user has been logged-out. When you click on "Return" button, you will get to the "home page" set above.
Hope it clarifies the things.

but always launching new pop-up window(Browser).

I just found how to do this on my iPad! At the top right are two squares overlapping. Click on that and you will get your page hanging in space. There is an X on the top (I think) left. Click on that and TaDa! Lost of hoops, but glad I found it.

No on the book title, no problem there.
The issue is: my book pages appear as on white paper, no background that resembles a open book and also no option to change fonts. The book was created in iBooks author, there was a problem going with the "Publish" menu route so I was instructed my Apple to "export" the file and submit that. I think that's the problem after reading that iBooks author is a hybrid epub file.

The Font is fine for pringing

Mac's don't have UI scale options like Windows has.
Either you can drop the screen resolution in Displays a wee bit and make things appear distorted, or do what I do and use the Universal Access and set a control key, then use a mouse wheel/scroll to zoom in and out where the mouse is pointed.

How do I reduce the number of pages in an iPhoto book from 100 to 50. I have selected 153 photos to be put in the book and iPhoto automatically designated the book to be 100 pages in length.

If the auto place put photos on all 100 pages you'll need to reset the layout on the first 50 pages so all photos will fit in just those 50 pages. Then add the photos to the first 50 pages and delete the last 50 according to the link Larry provided.
