How do I sync a Current Work folder so all enclosed items automatically update

I have just started to use Adobe Creative Cloud and as I am a 'Team' member I have 100GB of storage.
I would like to use this as a backup of my current work folder but how do I sync this.
ATM I have copied my 'Current Work' folder into the CC storage area (Creative Cloud Files) but should this be the original file to continuously sync or just a copy?
Also, is there anyway I can use this storage facility in conjunction with Time Machine?

Is Thunderbird already installed in the computers? If so, you could download the .xpi file and drag and drop it into the extensions window (after opening that) to install it in all the computers, following which you click the Install buttons when they become enabled, and you might have to restart Tbird afterwards.

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for this very occasion. USe your backup copy to put everything on the new computer, then sync.

One of the reasons why including your iTunes library with your computer's backup along with all other important data is a good idea. The iPhone is not designed or intended to be used as a backup storage device.
iTunes includes an option to transfer iTunes content that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes store from an iPod, iPad, or iPhone, but this is for iTunes content that was purchased/downloaded from the iTunes store only.
There are some 3rd party paid utilities that provide for transferring content that was not purchased/downloaded from the iTunes store from an iPhone.

Set the When Button Pressed to the CREATE button
2nd validation
:P1_ITEM10 IS NOT NULL
Set the When Button Pressed to the DELETE buttonI think that's going to be the easiest way to do it.

Simply select only the apps that you want to sync to your iPad and then sync. You can control what syncs to the iPad. You may be best served by turning off auto sync.
Launch iTunes and go to Edit>Preferences>Devices and check the box that says - Prevent iPods, iPhones and iPads from syncing automatically. Click OK.
Connect your iPad to the computer.
Launch iTunes
Click on the iPad name on the left side under the Devices heading.
Click on the Apps Tab in the iTunes window on the right.
Click on only the apps that you want to sync in the list of apps under the Sync Apps heading.
Make sure that the Sync Apps heading is checked.
Click on Apply in the lower corner of iTunes.

MobileMe Gallery + Smart Folder; why doesn't it automatically update?

I used to use Photocasting on iPhoto 6. This worked great in that I published a photocast of a smart folder and any new items that matched the smart folder were automatically published.
I upgraded to iPhoto '08 specifically so that people could subscribe to an album via RSS and have it work on any computer.
Unfortunately, with iPhoto '08 the MobileMe Gallery doesn't seem to remember that it was based on a smart folder and I have to manually add additional pictures to publish in the MobileMe Gallery.
What am I missing? All I want is to have a smart folder automatically publish all new matches to an RSS feed for my friends & family to see new pics.
Please advise as to how anyone is able to accomplish this.

MobileMe galleries are separate from the album that you initially use to create them. Any photo added to the album also has to be manually added to the gallery. It's the nature of the beast. You can put in a feature request to Apple via http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphoto.html
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. Just put the application in the Dock and click on it whenever you want to backup the dB file. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.
Note: There's now an Automator backup application for iPhoto 5 that will work with Tiger or Leopard.

I'd like to have the ability to deny an update, some kind of dialogue box. It just went to 9.0.1 with no approval whatsoever.
The reason why is that FF main appeal is the range of extensions, having over half of them non-functional because developers can't keep up with frequent Firefox updates is frustrating beyond compare.

You should take a look at the Knowledge Base article [[Installing a previous version of Firefox]]. This will show you how to roll back to an older version.
If you want to turn off automatic updates, just take a look at [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Updating%20Firefox#w_how-do-i-configure-update-options this article]. That will prevent Firefox from updating automatically.

At a guess you followed the process in HT1364 - iTunes for Windows: Moving your iTunes Media folder which would have moved the media folder to a new path of your choice. This process leaves the library database files back in the original location of <User's Music>\iTunes. Often people assume that all they need is now on the external drive and wipe the internal drive, or discard their old computer, before backing up the all important iTunes folder. If you have a backup of your user's profile folder from before the upgrade the iTunes library folder should be in there somewhere. Restore it to <User's Music> and your original library should pop back into existence. The external drive would need to have the same drive letter that it had previously.
A more effective way to relocate the library is to move the entire iTunes folder to the external drive, then hold down shift when starting iTunes and keep holding until asked to choose or create a library. You would then choose the file iTunes Library.itl in the iTunes folder on the external drive. If this is the way you moved the library before then that is how you should now reconnect to it. Changing the media folder in preferences doesn't change which .itl database file is opened, nor does double-clicking on an .itl file directly.
If you no longer have the original .itl file then you will have to build a new library and import the media to it. If you need to do this I would recommend you create a new library at F:\iTunes, then move your existing media folders inside F:\iTunes\iTunes Media before importing. This will avoid the creation of duplicates and make sure the library is in the correct shape going forwards.
If you have an iPod or iOS device my scripts ImportDevicePlaylists and SyncStats may well let you recover ratings, play counts & playlists from the device.
When you've fixed up your libray you should consider getting a second external drive to backup to.

How do I sync Exhange agenda (work) with my Macbook at home?

I have upgraded my operatingsystem from Leopard to Snow Leopard to be able to go to Lion, so i could go on with my mobile me account to iCloud.
I've been a mobile me user since 2006. Now I have been forced to swich to Lion to keep my syncronisation abbility.
After 7 years with no problems and paying each year a contribution of € 80,- for mobile me I was forced to pay € 30,- to step up to Lion.
Now I regret all those steps I have taken, because now I can't use my HP Laserjet P6 printer anymore (wrong driver I suppose). My extern network diskdrive is not reachable anymore? And most important my synchronisation with my Exchange agenda from my work is also not working since I made my upgrade?
The iPod touch (OS 3.4) and iPad(OS 5.1) both sync correctly with the Exhange agenda.
Maybee I should stop working with Apple product. But I have invested a lot of money already in Apple product. They have never let me down in the past.
But now I am not so sure anymore. Maybee back to Windows? I realy don't want to do that.

Instead of wringing your hands in despair you need to do these things:
Add (or update) your Exchange account to your Mac, it's not difficult.
Go to HP's website and download the relevant drivers for your P6 (by the way, posting the complete model number helps).
And the complete absence of any information as to what is actually happening (error messages etc) is not much help either.

GP: How to navigate to a current work item?

I've got just another question regarding GP and the Runtime View.
I noticed that there are at least 3 ways to navigate to someone's work item:
- the GP Runtime View ("Tasks that require my action", ...)
- the UWL
- a seperate WebDynpro (WDPortalNavigation.navigateAbsolute...)
All these options work - but in every case, the Runtime View looks different. Let's see:
1.) Header and navigation are visible, header shows the process instance name
2.) Header and navigation look equally, but the header shows the template's name
3.) Header and navigation invisible
In the third case I used the IGPWorkItem's "generateNavigationTargetForSingleTaskUI" method to generate the URL, to which I navigate. Another method is shown in

Now my question: Is there a way to have a consistent perspective on my work items? Regardless of which navigation I use?

Found the answer from another discussion here and it did work in about 2 minutes:
in settings, click mail, contacts , calendars
you need to add two accounts:
one for mail as a Yahoo account
another per the instructions below
Yahoo syncs contacts by adding a CardDAV account:
Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars
Tap Add Account
Tap Other and then tap Add CardDAV Account
For the Server you need to enter carddav.address.yahoo.com
Now type in the Yahoo! ID (full email address) and password you use to sign in to your Yahoo! Contacts
why not all in one? who knows!
Ps. You might have to do several tries with and without the .xxx extesion to the account name
Yahoo has multiples with att and all othr isp's
