How do i sync my iphone 5 to my ipad2 for Messages?
My 13 year old daughter has an iPhone 5, on which she uses Messages / texting. I have an iPad2. I have the latest iOS on my iPad, but she has 6.0.2 on her iPhone. When she gets a message on Messages, I want them to also come to my iPad, whether it is on or not. I need to be able to monitor her conversations. On some occasions, I will get some of the messages, as I can check them against what is on her phone. At other times, I don't get anything.
Is there someway that I can be assured that I will get copies of each text / message she sends and receives?

you need the enter the same appleid on your iPad that she has on her iPhone, now keep in mind you will only get iMessages on the iPad, not text messages that are sent thru the carrier

You cannot. Copy everything you want form the old computer to the new one, then sync it.

Correct Iphone will sync, or manually manage, with one and only one computer/library at a time. Syncing, or manually managing, to another will indeed erase the current content. -

What can happen is that you might have emptied your iTunes library for any reason such as a system restore

Select the device.
Select Sync.
In the new version of iTunes, the sidebar is disabled by default. With a device connected, it will be listed in the upper right hand corner.

The highest version of iTunes you can install is 10.6.3 which will not sync with the iPhone 5.

We literally have all went in the message settings and changed the options for just our own phone numbers but we are still receiving each others so I decided to get my own account to get rid of this problem. I have went on my iphone and changed my messages, facetime and itunes to log on to my new id, but when I am logged on to my new account on my computer, my computer is not letting my iphone sync to this new account.
