How do I sync my iPhone calendar entries back into my MacBook Pro Calendar?

I can't get appointments scheduled via Siri to update or sync bact to my MacBook Pro. I have iCloud, and I have iTunes synced, but the appointments scheduled in iPhone's Calendar do not appear in the MacBook Calendar.

If you are syncing your calendar with iCloud on both your phone and your MBP, check Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Calendar (in the Calendars section) to be sure you have selected your iCloud calendar as your default. Then try adding a new event on your iPhone calendar and see if it syncs to your MBP now.

Sync from iPhone 4 to Address Book on MacBook Pro

Hi, does anyone know how to sync my contacts from my iPhone 4 to the "address book" on my MacBook Pro? It seems like it should be a simple process, but I can only find info on how to do it with Outlook. I realize that my contacts sync via iCloud, but I would like to be able to access them on my address book on my computer.
Is this possible?

I have done what the following says (copied and pasted from another thread) and it is still not working.
"The sync process for contacts with a supported address book application on your computer is a bidirectional or true sync process, or should be.
If any new contacts added on your iPhone or an edit of an existing contact does not make it to the Address Book when syncing, try resetting the sync history on your Mac, which is done via iSync preferences with the iSync application located in your Applications folder."

How do I use an iPhone with an iMac and a MacBook Pro?

I have an iMac, a MacBook Pro and an iPhone 4S. I will be travelling and would like to sync my iPhone with the iMac or MacBook, depending on where I am. I am on the cloud and manage my music manually. I'd like to be able to sync and download app updates via iTunes. Currently I sync via the iMac, will I lose my music if I attempt to sync the iPhone with the MacBook?

I was afraid of that. That's why I posted the question before trying to sync and losing everything. Too bad as I just bought a MacBook Pro and would really like to have mirrored devices across the board. Either Appke's technology isn't up to it or they have some obscure secrecy reason to prevent it.

I know there is a way to use iTunes to sync my Pages and Numbers files between my iPad and Macbook Pro, but I can't seem to find the app or software or instructions. The exact same way as in the old version.
Option 1) Select the content desired to sync and sync.
Option 2) Drag and drop the content onto the device.
If the side bar is needed/desired, typing Cntrl + S will display it.

I want to use on app to edit photos on my macbook. Having a giftcard, I decided to purchase this app on my macbook, (even though i had already had this app on my iPhone). I pressed 'Buy App' and it did take money out of my giftcard balance, but it didnt say that I had purchased the app. But I'm thinking, I must have, because it took the right ammount of money out of my account! But it didnt download, or appear in my downloads. So, then, I decided to sync my apps from my iPhone to my Macbook, and it did, so I can see the apps in my iTunes...but i cant use them on my Mac. Any ideas on what i should do? Ive tried everything I can think of doing. Thanks!

If you purchasd an App from within iTunes, it is designed for an iDevice, not a Mac. Mac compatible Apps are available from the Mac App Store.

Move all of the music ( and all of your other info/pics/docs/etc) from your old computer to your new one.
As provided you can just use your backup copy for this. It is one of the many reasons that ALWAYS maintaining a backup copy is basic.

A week ago when I plugged it in it would say something along the lines of " This iPhone cannot be synced because the Photo library is not set up. Please try again later." What does that even mean? And now it is saying that it can't sync because of an unknown error. Well, how do I fix this? I have not yet downloaded the Yosemite update because it got horrible reviews and everyone I've talked to said their computer has gotten extra slow because of it so I was wondering if I need to download Yosemite so my iPhone will sync. I have tried turning my computer on and off, quitting and reopening iTunes, restarting my iPhone, and nothing has worked. I would really like to be able to transfer my music and ringtones etc. onto my phone.

You have told us you have iOS 8.1.2, and a non-current version of OS X Do you also have an old iTunes? Current is 12.0.1. I'm quite certain iTunes 12 is required to sync with iOS 8.
The current iPhoto version is 9.6. You are probably behind there as well, and that likely caused the first "photo ..." error. As you may know, iOS is changing its approach to managing photos in iOS 8, so I would imagine it would be important to be current with this application.
