How do I sync my iphone calendar to my yahoo calendar

How do I sync my iphone calendar with my yahoo calendar?  If I add to my Yahoo calendar it syncs with my iphone calendar BUT
if I add on my iphone it won;t add to my yahoo calendar.

This is ridiculous!  I bought an Ipad 2 to help keep up with my appointments etc and now it wont sync my Yahoo calendar appointments that i made from my iphone.  I have tried all the suggestions I can find and nothing is working.  I don't have time to go back and add it all by hand a second time.  Please fix!!!

    When syncing calendars, you can sync all calendars or sync specific calendars.
    You can limit the data that is synced to only events that occurred in the last 30 days. You can change the option to any number of days.
