How do i sync my iphone contacts to my computer so its backed up? but no sync computer contacts to my iphone 4?

If I sync my iphone, will it put all my iphone contacts in itunes, so i can restore and back it up and still have all my contacts on itunes for windows without pressing the sync contacts button in the itunes iphone syncing section that allows you to sync with yahoo and gmail etc....?

Well, it could be that your carrier doesn't have a signal when it looses its signal. You could try resetting network settings which might help - Settings/General/Reset/Reset Network Settings. You'll need to set up any wi-fi networks you connect too again. If you're still having issues, contact your carrier.

Reinstalling Mavericks depends on several factors:
if you erased your recovery partition
what OS originally came on your Mac.
I'll assume you don't have a backup available that you made before your mishap, because you didn't mention it.
That's really the take home message here: have a backup!
If you still have your recovery partition:
boot into the recovery partition (command R at restart)
use the recovery partition to reinstall Mavericks. see: OS X: About OS X Recovery
if you do not still have your recovery partition, then it depends on whether your Mac originally came with installer disks or not.
If it originally came with installer disks, you would boot from the installer disks, erase your HD, and then reinstall the OS that is on the installer disks, and then upgrade as necessary until you get to Mavericks.
If your mac did not originally come with installer disks, but you managed to erase your recovery partition, then you can try to boot into internet recovery (option-command-R at restart), and use internet recovery to erase your HD and reinstall the OS that originally came with your computer, and then upgrade to Mavericks if you need to. (the reference refers to ML but it applies just as well to Mavericks).

Go to Photos - recently deleted (an option in the same menu as "camera roll" and "photo stream") and finally delete the photos.

Your iphone is right, it is not supported. The iphone's bluetooth protocols do not include file transfer, but are intendes only for headsets, stereo headphones, cars, and keyboards.

I see all of my contacts under "All Exchange" in the address book but can't get them into my iPhone.

I don't get this but 95% of my contacts are listed under "all exchange" and I can't figure out how to get them into my iphone. I have "Sync Contacts" and "all contacts" checked in iTunes but it doesn't work. There is a message that says "Your contacts are being synced with MS Exchange over the air. Your contacts will also sync directly with this computer"... After backing the contacts up, I deleted the Exchange account off of my iPhone because I left the company. Any suggestions?

Yes. There is no device limit for the number of iPods, iPads, and iPhones that can be synced with the same iTunes library and iTunes account on the same computer. Each device can have its own sync preferences with iTunes on the same computer.
If both iPhones are synced with the same Address Book under the same computer login account, then the contacts on each iPhone will be the same. With the Address Book on a Mac, you can sync select Address Book Groups only with an iPhone instead of the entire Address Book and all groups. You and/or your wife can create an Address Book Group or multiple Groups to be synced with each other's iPhone only. Here's what I did:
First I tried the Winsock reset in the Command prompt. Nothing changed.
Next, I tried the instructions on http://http://support.apple.com/kb/TS4123. The only other program that came up on the 'Winsock Providers' tab on the program was 2 Windows Live applications, which I can do without. So I deleted all Windows Live Applications.
I did the Winsock reset in the Command Prompt again and rebooted my comp.
Unfortunately, nothing has changed. iTunes keeps freezing at various stages of the sync, then shows the candy cane-striped bar with either the words 'Finishing sync' or 'Cancelling sync', before showing the Apple logo.
Sometimes, iTunes gets to the syncing stage - "Copying # of ####" - where it will trudge through the first, second and third tracks before flashing "Copying 4 of ####" for a split second and I catch "Cancelling sync" briefly before the Apple logo appears.
Again, I've repeated the steps I mentioned in my previous post. Does ANYONE know when the new version of iTunes is set to be released?! This one is driving me INSANE, to say the least!!

IPad and iTunes on computer have same iTunes account but no Sync

iTunes thinks that my iPad and computer are using different iTunes accounts when they are the same.
I have double checked in Setting->Itunes Store on iPad.
When I try and sync any content iTunes says it will erase all content on the iPad and reload from iTunes on computer.
The kids will kill me if I do this as all their game progress will be deleted.
Or is this message misleading? will iTunes realise they are actually the same account if I go ahead?
I recently had to rebuilt my computer and re-install iTunes, but surely this should make any difference to iTunes?
Does anyone have any experience with this?

IPod touch 4th gen will back-up but not sync?

Apple had me reinstall iTunes twice and it didn't work. I deleted iPod and then reconnected and got it to back-up but an error comes up in 5 (1-5) when backing up) that says,"iPod can not be synced. The required file cannot be found."
Would uninstalling iTunes and all the components help? Maybe some didn't load right when Apple had be take out and re-install. There are more components than just iTunes to delete so all of you need to look up in Apple support.
Any ideas? I am running Windows 7 on my laptop but the funny thing is my old desktop with Windows XP will back-up and sync it as I just tried it.

Try the following one at a time
- Delete the iPod Photo Cache folder. For its location see:
iTunes: Photo sync creates iPod Photo Cache folder
- Move the existing backup file to a safe location so iTunes has to create an entire new one. For its location see:
iTunes places the backup files in the following places:
Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/
Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
Windows Vista and Windows 7: \Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
Note: If you do not see the AppData or Application Data folders, you may need to show hidden files (Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7), or iTunes may not be installed in the default location. Show hidden files and then search the hard drive for the Backup directory.
After a successful sync, you can delete that backup.
