How do I sync my iphone4 calendar with my BT Yahoo calendar?

I am struggling to sync my iphone4 with my PC Yahoo calendar.  Can anyone advise me on what to try?

Is the Yahoo! calendar on the PC in sync with the online account?
If that is indeed the case then by adding the Yahoo account as an e-mail-account there should also show up a Calendar and Notes sync in the Settings Menu (Settings > E-mail, contacts, agenda > Yahoo!). (Screenshot >>)
When switched on it should sync the calendar automatically. Tough you might not see it at once after opening the Calendar app, but you'll need to hit the "Calendars" button in the upper-left corner to get an overview of all the calendars.

    When the iPad is connected to your computer's iTunes, then on the device's Info tab you should be able to select where to sycn a calendar from - from the iPad manual :
    You can sync calendars from applications such as iCal on a Mac, or from Microsoft Outlook 2003, 2007, or 2010 on a PC. (On a Mac, you can sync calendars with multiple applications. On a PC, you can sync calendars with only one application at a time.)

    The calendars reside on different servers and as far as I know there isn't a way to sync between them.  You can, of course, add your Google calendar to your devices and continue to use Google to keep it in sync.  If you open the Calendars app on your devices and tap Calendars on the top left, then tap Show All Calendars, your Google and iCloud calendar events will appear together your calendar.  You will only need to decide which one you wish to use as your default when adding new enteries, then set this in Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Calendar.

    Did you ever solve the problem?  I have an iPhone 4 and don't use the Cloud.  I sync the iPhone with my Windows 7 Outlook using iTunes.  It worked perfectly until I upgraded the iPhone to iOS 7.0.2 and now the calendar entries from the iPhone are updated in Outlook but the calendar entries in Outlook are not synced to the iPhone.  I get this message.  Any help would be appreciate.  I went to the "Genius Bar" at my local Apple Store, they were clueless and no help at all.

    An iCloud email account is an IMAP account. With an IMAP account, all server stored mailboxes are kept synchronized with the server with each email client used to access the account.
