How do I sync Outlook 2010 with my BB-Z10?

I have downloaded and installed Blackberry Link and successfully ran it. Everything I want has been transferred from my Torch, EXCEPT the calendar. I could get it from Outlook, but I don't see any way of syncing the BB10 with Outlook - which is something I DEFINITELY want to do. I use Outlook all the time.

Unfortunately, we have been told that wired sync will not be coming to BlackBerry Link.
The best workaround we've found is to sign up for an Outlook.com email account. Then install the hotmail connector in Outlook to sync Outlook to that outlook.com account. You can then set up the Outlook.com account on the Z10 (without email sync if you don't want that for email) and calendar and contacts will sync.
I know it's not what you want to hear but it's the best workaround we've been able to find so far. Outlook.com is the best for syncing everything. You can use google if you pay for the Google Apps service. Outlook.com is free.

I believe you have right - the Add-in is the problem. Right now, my Outlook 2010 do NOT have the iCloud add-in. You mention something about downloading it - where can I find it ?? I have tested to uninstall and install again, nothing changes my syncing with Outlook 2010 after the initial setup has been done with iCloud.....

The iPhone can be configured to sync directly to the Exchange server, no app needed.
Alternatively, via iTunes the device can be synced to Outlook.

After multiple hours of searching and trial and error I found the solution--for those that are still looking. Yes you can sync Outlook 2010 running on Windows 7 to your iPhone 4--contacts, calendars, notes, bookmarks, etc.
Here's how:
Items you will need:
iPhone
Computer
Microsoft Outlook 2010
iTunes USB dock connector for iPhone
Step 1 Open iTunes and connect your iPhone to your computer.
Step 2 Click your iPhone name in the "Devices" section of the left menu column.
Step 3 Click the "Info" tab in the main window.
Step 4 Check the box marked "Sync Contacts with". Step 5 Click the drop-down box next to "Sync Contacts with" and select "Outlook." Step 6 Select "All Contacts" or "Selected Groups." Step 7 Check the boxes next to the Outlook contact groups you wish to sync if in Step 6 you chose to sync only groups. Step 8 Click "Apply." If the sync is successful, skip to Step 15. If the sync is unsuccessful, continue to Step 9. Step 9 Open Outlook. Step 10 Click "Tools" and select "Trust Center." Step 11 Click "Add-ins." Step 12 Click "COM Add-ins" in the "Manage" section. I am hoping I can offer a little help to your issues with Notes Syncing.
I am using latest version of Itunes and Latest Iphone 4 software on a WINDOWS pc (Windows 7 Ultimate) and I am using Microsoft Office 2010.
If you want to sync your notes, as with previous messages on this topic, you'll need to ensure that on the info page of Itunes after you've connected your phone to sync, that you select or tick the box which asks you to sync notes with Outlook.
Once done - open up your Outlook programme.
The first thing to ensure is that the notes you want to sync are NOT archived. I have found to the point of great frustration, that Itunes will not sync notes which are in your archived notes folder. This is clearly labelled on the left hand side of the notes pane in outlook. If your notes are archived, you need to move them into your Notes (or current notes) folder. Simple cut and paste works here.
Once done - simply go back to itunes and select sync again and see if they appear in the notes section of your phone after the process has been completed..
I am sure you're all aware that the notes on/off button in Settings/Mail/Contacts/Calendars only appears if you are running an IMAP account. You will not (or should not) find this option available with SMTP accounts. This however should still work using the same process.
I hope that this helps in some small way.

I have an iMac which I use in my home office, and a Macbook Pro that I take with me everywhere. I am running outlook 2011 on both which has 2 POP accounts linked to it, and an Exchange account also.
I was wondering if there was a way to keep both Outlooks in Sync, so folders I create and emails that I download and have read are updated on both. I know this is a feature of using an Exchange account, but I was wondering whether this was possible with cloud technology? Also syncing both calendars with each other and my iPhone..

Only the Exchange account will sync, POP accounts do not sync regardless of the client you use.
If the 2 POP accounts are provided by a vendor who allows Imap access you should use that instead, then they will stay in sync.
iCloud accounts keep Mail, Contacts, Calendars and other items in sync on all your devices, but are best if you have an iCloud email address (@icloud.com or @me.com)

When I add a task in Outlook (2007), it does not use the Tasks in iCloud data set, and instead uses the "Tasks" data set. what do you mean? they are gone from your outlook?
if so, that would be really odd, unless you first synced, then deleted them on your phone then synced again.
i would make a copy of your pst file just in case....
as for the n900, even after you sync contacts to it, your are only seeing the phone number, and not the contact name?
usually that only happens if you have two contacts sharing the same number. is it possible that you have that happening?

You would sync Outlook via iTunes on the computer. Connect the iPhone to the computer, make sure you have the latest version of iTunes running, select the iPhone in iTunes and it will display the Summary page. Select the Info tab, and there you would select what you want to sync calendar and contacts to. Make sure since this is the first time you have done a sync that whichever of the devices is new to the sync process has at least one unique contact/calendar event to get iTunes to prompt you for a merge or replacement. You can sync your mail, contacts and calendar with Google Sync. Tasks and notes are not supported. (Notes syncing is not possible with MfE anyway.)

What happens is that when I connect the iPad to the iMac (USB) it syncs directly with iCal via iTunes. How can I get the iPad to sync Outlook 2010 in Parallels via iTunes as well? Do I have to download and install another copy of iTunes in Windows 7 in Parallels?

Don't think that's possible as iOS devices can only be synced to one iTunes library at a time.
