You need to be signed into iCloud with the same Apple ID on both devices:
Mac: System Preferences > iCloud
iOS: Setting > iCloud
and make sure sync for Safari is turned on:
Mac: System Preferences > iCloud > check the Safari box
iOS: Setting > iCloud > turn Safari on

How can I delete the reading list in Safari on iPad 2?
I would like to delete the reading list in Safari on my iPad 2. How do I have to do it?
You can't delete the reading list portion of the bookmarks window. It is built into the app so you can't delete it. That is not optional.
You can delete items from the reading list by swiping Across the item in the reading list to bring up a red Delete button. Then tap that button to delete the item from the list. -
How do I make the Reading List window in Safari disappear
All of a sudden, a very irritating window or tab opened on the left side of my Safari Window asking me if I want to add the current page to my "Reading List". I don't have a reading list, I don't want a reading list, and I want this window to go away. How do I make it vanish?
1. Click "View" menu in the Safari menu bar.
From the drop down select "Hide Reading LIst".
or
2. Click the Reading List icon Reading glasses in the Safari bookmarks bar.
The left most icon.

How do I close the reading list in Safari?
I opened my reading list and it is now using about 1/4 of my monitor screen. How do I close it?
Exactly as dominic23 states, I followed the step and lo and behold ... it was gone!
First open Safari, then choose Preferences from the drop-down menu.
Click on Bookmarks, then place check on Include Reading List -- the eyeglass icon then appears in the Bookmarks Bar at the top of the page.
Left click on the Eyeglass icon, and the Reading List column will disappear.
Hope this works. -

How does it work the reading (list) function on a mac?
Hello there,
Well, I was wondering how does it work, I mean, What's necessary to get this funtion work.. When you're reading something you see that there's is an options it lets you to get in a reading mode but sometimes some web pages won't let you do that
Why?
How does it work?
Shortcuts:
To show reading mode (shift + comand + R)
To show the list bookmarks (shift + cmd + L)
Thank you very muchThen there's something going on with Safari on your Mac.
Try troubleshooting Safari extensions and third party plugins.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test. If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.
If it's not an extensions issue, try troubleshooting third party plug-ins.
Back to Safari > Preferences. This time select the Security tab. Deselect: Allow all other plug-ins. Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that made a difference, instructions for troubleshooting plugins here. -

How to re-arrange my reading list
How does one re-arrange the sequence of entries in the reading list? (iOS 7 on iPad mini)
There is no way to rearrange the reading list that I know of.
Remember that Reading List is intended as a place to store interesting reading only in the short-term. If you want to organize links, the more appropriate place might be in Bookmarks. -
After software update today, the Reading List on my Safari cannot be opened!
Hello guys,
After the software update I had earlier on in the day, I can't seem to open up the Reading List on Safari. Do you guys have the same problem too?
Regards,
Bo WeiHi...
If you have iCloud enabled and you are syncing Safari Bookmarks that also syncs the Reading List with other devices.
Quit Safari.
Open System Preferences > iCloud
Deselect the box next to Bookmarks then reselect it.
Relaunch Safari. Try opening the Reading List.
If you do not use iCloud. try deleting the cache associated with Safari.
Go to ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db. Move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
For Lion v10.7x: To find the Home folder in OS X Lion, open the Finder, hold the Option key, and choose Go > Library
Move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit then relaunch Safari. Try the Reading List

I can't sync my reading list in windows 7.
I have everything I need to sync the reading list to windows, I have Safari 5.1.7 and iCloud 3.0. I can not get the two to syncronize. Safari does not even show up under the iCloud compatible browsers. I have tried a clean install of safari which did not work then I did a clean iCloud install over that which also failed. What do I do?
In the Menu:
Logic Pro>Preferences>Logic AU Manager
Once that opens click reset and rescan all. It will tell you of failed AUs. -
