How do I sync Windows 7 folders to iCloud like SkyDrive?

With mobile me, I could sync files & folders through I disk, which is accessible through webdav.
How can I sync Windows 7 file & folders as I could with MobileMe?

You might want to check out Dropbox a free app that you can download on iPad and your PC. It comes with 2GB free storage, but you can purchase more if you need to.

Your iDisk is still accessible after moving to iCloud in exactly the same way as before. Nothing is deleted until June 30th 2012.

No, you couldn't. Firstly, nothing was deleted from your iDisk. Secondly, any files stored on your iDisk should never be your only copy. Even if your iDisk spontaneously combusted, you should keep local backups elsewhere.

Yes. Apple doesn't provide such a service anymore, nor are you paying them for it.
Apple has made no effort to suggest remedies for the problem it has given iDisk users
They've provided instructions on how to download your files from your iDisk. What you do with them after that is your choice.

Is your email account an IMAP account? If not, the folders will not sync.
If your email account is a POP account, you can create folders and mailboxes in the Mac mail app and those folders will be for local storage and organization on the Mac only. That is a feature of the Mac mail software. Those folders/mailboxes will not sync if you do not have an IMAP account.

You can sync by adding your 365 account under "Mail, Contracts, Calenders" "Add Account" then Outlook and finally enter your 365 email and password; the rest should happen automatically. Don't forget to go in to Sync settings in Outlook and click the things you want to sync.

Thanks, but I checked iCloud and it has none of them.
If it backed up to my laptop, that died and I just got the new computer. The one that's crashed won't even boot, so there's no way to even tell if it was syncing the contacts along with all the phone photos. Literally happened at the same time - it was because I had the new computer that I was finally able to pull the photos off the phone and make room for the upgrade. It had refused to upgrade for lack of space for some time.
I had thought it was set to sync to iCloud but it vanished from BOTH my phone and the cloud. That's why I'm so angry about it.

How can I sync my iPhone to iCloud and also to my desktop Mac (which can't sync to iCloud)?

I would like to sync my iPhone to iCloud (since MobileMe is about to be removed) for backup, but my desktop Mac doesn't connect to iCloud as I run Snow Leopard (not running Lion, and I have no intention of installing Lion, having heard how many problems that caused to my friends).
Having tried to sync to iCloud with the phone, I'm now unable to sync with my desktop iCal or Address Book. Now, none of my appointments and reminders are being transferred between the two.
Any suggestions?

I would have to look at iTunes on an older version of OS X (I run Lion), but I believe it is possible to sync contacts on the phone with both Address book and iCloud via iTunes. This is normally a bad idea as the assumption is you would be syncing the Mac Address book with iCloud and would end up creating a sync loop and duplicate entries with every sync. You'll have to see.
It might be a better idea to switch to syncing contacts with Google until and unless you intend to upgrade OS X to Lion.

If they are iCloud contacts, just log into iCloud on your new phone.
You should restore from a back up of your old phone though to get things like your photos and other app data onto your new phone.

Why would you downgrade your OS? That is neither supported by Apple or recommended by them, and is no doubt the cause of the problems you are now having.
To sync with iCloud requires iOS 5.
Update to the OS that iCloud supports and you will be able to do what you want, exactly as Apple recommends.

Yes, the same thing happens to me. It's just the way it is.
I've been getting month+ old emails that I deleted long ago, pushed to my Mail App that is set up to Hotmail with a subscription to izymail. I don't know what's happening, i've sent a few emails to izymail but they've just told me to do general stuff like a restore etc.

That's not quite what I meant. What I meant was that any authoritative forward looking information is not allowed on these forums (see the ToS). Anyone who has access to such information is restricted from releasing it. In essence, that reduces to "rumor" any forward looking information you might see here. Since these forums are not a user-to/from-RIM conduit, the information will come only from other users...who, by our very nature, simply don't have access to such forward looking information.
