Just redownload it on the other computer by logging into the App Store with the same Apple ID you used to purchase it.

How do I transfer my music library from my iPod to my Itunes?

Last night I opened up my Itunes to add more music to my iPod, only to find that it somehow deleted almost all the music from my library and even managed to add in a free U2 album. (???) The music is still in my Itunes Media folder, and thankfully all my songs and playlists are still on the Ipod itself, as it didn't automatically sync with my Itunes. However, for some reason I cannot access the Itunes library I directly had before this one-- only libraries that I had months from now.
Is there any way that I can transfer all the songs from my Itunes, including the playlists and song "play count" (both of which are very important to me), directly from my Ipod to my Itunes? Or simply replace all the info on my current Itunes library with the one on my Ipod?

In Editor, go to the expert tab.
Open picture B, the one you wish to select something from to add to another picture.
Use one of the selection tools, e.g. selection brush, lasso tool, to select the object. You will see an outline ("marching ants") once the selection is complete
Go to Edit menu>copy to copy the selection to the clipboard
Open picture A, then go to Edit>paste
Use the move tool to position object from picture B.
In the layers palette you should see picture A as the background layer, and object B on a separate layer.

I have an ipod classic and I would like to transfer all my library store in my ipod to my new Pc. I read the instructions,but my itunes are different from the mac itunes I have the latest 10.63 and I'm not understanding what to do. My entire library is on the ipod and I hate to loose it.

1. In Windows Explorer, go to Tools > Folder Options > View. In the Advanced Settings list, under Hidden files and folders, check the radio button for “Show hidden files and folders”. Then click OK. You’ll get a Windows security warning but it’s safe enough to disregard it as we will only be disabling this function for a short while.
2. Plug in your iPod. In Windows Explorer, a folder will now appear with the name of your iPod.
Double-click on that. Go to the sub-folders “iPod_Control” and then “music”. You’ll find your music there randomly scattered across multiple folders and with scrambled file names. But don’t worry, the ID3 tags are still fully intact and we are now going to “unscramble” the files.
3. But first copy all the music from those iPod folders into a new folder on your hard-drive. Move all the songs into one single folder and discard all the folders that your iPod made. By the end, you should have one folder in your hard-drive with all the scrambled files together.
4. Open up iTunes and do the following : Go to Edit > Preferences. Under the Advanced tab, under the General “sub-tab”, select the local folder where you have copied the music from your iPod (by clicking Change…).
Check the box “Keep iTunes Music folder organized” and click OK. Also make sure you have wiped all previous music from iTunes so your playlists are blank.
5. In iTunes, click “File” then “add folder to library”. Select the folder where all your copied music is. iTunes will now re-import all your music back into the playlists. But more importantly, because you have previously clicked “Keep iTunes Music Folder organised”, iTunes will now start renaming and organising your songs into their correct names, albums and folders. This may take a while depending on how many songs you have in your iTunes library.

Script to take every 5th file from a folder and copy it to another folder

How can I tell applescript to take every 5th file of a folder of say 2000 files and copy them to another location? I want to copy the 5th, 10, 15th, 20th files and so on of 2000 files so I will have only 400 files.
I guess I want to make a list of all the files and then coerce that to the first and then increments of five but how do I do that?

Is is possible to take a finished project from iMovie 10, and move it to iMovie 9?

Here's the deal. I've got a finished iMovie 10 project. I want to move it to iMovie 9. Here's why. In iMovie 10, when I shared it to Media, I didn't see any drop down to select the quality. i.e....like in iMovie 9....1080p or 720p or Large or Medium. It just did it on its own. I'd like to take this iMovie 10 project and move it to iMovie 9, and share it to Media Browser again, so I can choose a smaller size, so it will fit where I want to put it.
Of course all this is moot, if someone can tell me how to share to Media Browser in iMovie 10, at a smaller level than 1080p or 720p. I'm at a complete loss here. Your help would be GREATLY appreciated.

If you would like to export a lower resolution version of your project from iMovie 10 (2013), you may want to try exporting it as a QuickTime file. You may find the following article helpful:

I'm trying to transfer my library to a new computer because my old computer no longer works. I've gone through all the steps apple recommended but the ITUNES file is not recognized on my IPOD on the new computer.

Connect the iPad to your computer and select it on the left-hand sidebar of your computer's iTunes (if you have iTunes 11 then you can enable the sidebar via option-command-S), and then use the Music tab on the right-hand side to select which of your music to sync to the iPad's Music app
