How do I take photos from my iPhone onto my MacBook Pro?

My memory on my iPhone is full and about 80% of it is pictures. I need to make available space but I don't want to delete all my pictures. Is there a way I can transfer my photos from my iPhone to my MacBook Pro?

  • How do I get music from my iPhone to my MacBook Pro?

I don't know how to put my music from my iPhone onto my new MacBook Pro but I really want to, how do I do it?

    Hi aimeefred,
The best way to get your entire iTunes library onto your new Macbook Pro is to copy the Music folder from your old computer.
iTunes: How to move your music to a new computer
You can copy music that you purchased on your iPhone to the Macbook Pro by following these steps:

I hope this information helps ....
    Have a great day!

  • How do you take photos from your phone onto your computer?

I've just gotten an iphone and am wondering how u take photos from the phone and put them on your computer. They dont seem to sync on to the computer.
    Thanks

When I import photographs from my camera I can see the camera's card listed in the Finder. I move the files to my Mac.
When I connect my iPhone to the Mac, it appears in iTunes, but not in the Finder. I don't know how to import the photographs. How do I do this?
I am about to replace the iPhone (battery problem), and I don't want to lose the Camera Roll photos. I'd rather not have to email them to myself if I don't have to.
    Thanks,
    Phil

  • How do I import photos from my iMac to my MacBook Pro ?

    Hello !
I would like to import an album created in iPhoto from my iMac to my MacBook Pro.
I would like the photos to appear exactly on my book as they are organized in my album on my iMac.
Any suggestion/idea/advice would be more than Welcome !
    THANK You !

Actually, I found that this album was still in the trash (Recent) and was able to restore it !!!
Ah so the question really isn't about moving albums but how to restore something you deleted by mistake from one of your libraries.
If you had actually asked that question then you probably would have gotten better and more to the point responses. In addition the need for backups would have been mentioned at some point.
You got lucky this time. Being 'more careful next time' is really not a good backup stratergy
You should take two things away from this, one ask the question that actually deals with your problem and two start a good backup program right now! Next time the trash might be empty.

  • How do i transfer pic from my iphone to my macbook pro?

how do i transfer pictures from my iphone to my mac book pro using usb. i tried but it keeps saying no photos available

You can only transfer photos via USB that you took yourself with the camera and are on the Camera Roll.  If you are trying to transfer other photos I think you can transfer using third party software, or possibly mail them to yourself (?).

  • HT4527 How do I transfer music from my iPhone to my MacBook Pro?

Hi my computer was recently stolen and now I am trying to transfer the music & photos from my iphone to the new itunes music library and the photos which I had synced from my mac to my phone, back onto the mac. So far I have only been able to transfer the items purchased from itunes. How do I transfer the songs that I had previously had in my library?

The iphone is not a backup device.
The music sync is one way - computer to iphone.  the only exception is itunes purchases.
If your backup copy of your comptuer was not stolen, then use it to put evefrything back.
Otherwise, you may be able to buy software to move the music.

  • How do I transfer photos from iPad mini to my Macbook Pro?

I have about 30GB of photos on my iPad mini (which were added from a SD card through the SDcard cord with the lightning cable end) and i am trying to take them off my iPad mini to free up space, but still need to keep the photos. I tried importing them through iPhoto on my Macbook Pro but it said all the files were corrupt. I tried putting them back through the SDcard cord onto an SDcard but that didnt work either. Is there any way to get these photos onto my Macbook Pro or even a USB stick? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Image Capture is a built-in program and should be in your Applications folder, Aperture I bought from the Mac App Store.
For Simple Transfer it's an iPad app, so you would download it on your iPad from the app store.

  • How do I get my photos off my iPhone onto my MacBook Pro

I just got a Mac book pro and want to put all the photos from my iPhone 5 onto my computer. What's the easiest and fastest way to do this? If it's iCloud/photo stream please give instructions because I tried that way and only 27 of my 600 photos and videos loaded. Thanks so much for your help and time

Connect your iPhone to your MacBook Pro and start iPhoto or Image capture. Either application will recognize your iPhone as a camera and allow you to copy photos in your Camera Roll to the MacBook Pro.

  • HT1338 I cannot copy my contacts from my iPhone onto my Macbook Pro.

I am trying to copy my contacts from my iPhone 4S onto my MacBook Pro.  I am running Lion OS 10.7.4, and have tried to accomplish the transfer with both iCloud and iTunes, but neither has worked.
    Any help gratefully received.

Check the website at iCloud.com. Are the contacts there. If so, then the contacts are syncing from the iPhone.
Uncheck contacts on the MacBook, then recheck the box and see if they appear.
In AB, go to the accounts page and make sure the iCloud account appears there.
If they are not at the website, then do the same to the iPhone.
Make sure both devices are logged in iCloud with the same Apple ID.
Also, if contacts are appearing at the website, choose delete from the devices when unchecking contacts or signing out of iCloud. They will appear on the devices when you sign back in.
If they are not at the website, be sure to select to keep the contacts local on the device so you don't lose them. They should sync to the website and other device when you sign back in.
If this doesn't help, are the contacts synced to the website, or just located on the iPhone.
