randomly my iphone stops working. all my service goes away and it just says searching at the top, if i dont have my phone connected to wifi i can not do anything at all. i cant call text or recieve anything. it only started happening when i updated to the new iOS 7 im wondering how to take that update off my phone because once a month this happeing is ridiculous and like now theres nothing i can do about it because there is no new update to install.

You can work on resolving whatever issues you have. There are millions of users on iOS 7 that are having no issues whatsoever, so it may simply be a matter of troubleshooting whatever your specific problems are.

What really cheeses me off here is that Apple isn't allowing users enough customization. With each update of iTunes (and the OS and iOS) we're forced to give up something that worked well for the way we want to use the app and make do with fewer (and lamer) options. If Apple keeps this up, they're going to start losing customers fast. I mean if this isn't fixed soon, I'm pretty sure I'm going to give up on iTunes, and then I'll probably go ahead and get a Galaxy when I need to replace my iPhone.
What I don't understand about how they won't let users delete the list of available podcasts now is why? How is this making it a better program? I can understand that not all users are capable enough to right-click on a feed and select "Show all available episodes", so I can see why they want the complete list to be the default (and, surprise, it already was). But to not give users the option to delete that list? It's inconsiderate because it makes navigating feeds with a large back catalogue really frustrating. I'm flabbergasted that no one at Apple considered all the podcast feeds that keep hundreds of episodes available when they removed this feature. It smacks of rank incompetence.
What improvement were they trying to make here anyway? There was nothing wrong to my mind about how podcasts were managed in previous versions. Whatever improvement they were trying to make here, they should have realized that many users would at least want the option to keep things the way they were.
And reverting to a previous version is no solution. I can't sync my iPhone with the new iOS without this update, and (while I do have some issues--specifically how you can't play podcasts in the Music app anymore) I do like the new iOS.

Th problem with HD video is it needs a fast external interface, so you should pick a external drive that uses the fastest interface your computer has to offer.
Performance rank fastest to slowest is
Thunderbolt, USB3, (newer Mac's)
Firewire 800, USB 2, Firewire 400, USB 1 (older Mac's)
Newer Windows PC's have USB3, older one's USB 2,1.
You need to format the drive if it comes FAT which a lot do, as FAT has a 4GB file size limit, so this won't work with large HD video files.
So if your going to use the drive only with a Mac, then head to Utlities > Disk Utility and format it Options: GUID Format: OS X Extended Journaled. (select the drive makers name and click Partition tab)
If your going to use the external drive with a PC, take it to the oldest PC you have and right click and format exFAT.
If you have a Windows XP machine and there is no exFAT, it can be downloaded for free from Microsoft.

Yeah, my iPhone 4S sometimes manages to connect to wifi for about 10 minutes now. I think there is a problem related with the antenna because when the phone heats up, the WIFI stops working. I had a similar experience with my older iPhone 4S which I bought from the U.S.A. (unlocked version) but after a couple of days, WIFI icon grayed out and I wasn't able to switch it on and off. Now the phone I'm using was bought in Turkey from a local carrier, (it's not locked I suppose) I'm planning on upgrading to an iPhone 6 and I will try to get my 4S repaired. I hope it is something related with software rather than hardware. Because a friend of mine sent his phone to the local Apple store to be fixed, they sent the phone back claiming that they had repaired it. But in about 2 days, the phone shut itself down and never turned off back again lol. I don't want to experience the same thing. But anyway, thanks for your answer. At least now I know that I'm not the only one that has this problem .

If the phone says "iPhone is disabled" conncet it to your computer, hold down on both the sleep/wake (top button) and home button (circle button) for about 30 seconds, when you see the apple let go of the top and continue holding the home button. First you will have to take care of the outstanding balance. Then you can only adjust the payment method in iTunes on the comptuer, not on the phone.

I went to Apple Chat and they lead me through a power down and start up with Recovery Disc Utility (Hold down Apple and R keys when powering up).
Then was instructed to run Disk Recovery and it showed HD was error free. Then a reboot started up fine to desktop and showed update to 10.9.2 had been installed. I am guessing the internet connection my have been interrupted during the install.
Apple Chat folks are awesome and a short wait too.
