How do I tell iTunes that my second podcast has been uploaded?

I uploaded a new podcast episode to my host (blubrry) and published it yesterday. However the new episode does not appear in my iTunes scription or iTunes store. Do I need send something to iTunes to let it know I have a new episode?

How do I tell itunes that my music is located on an SD card without going to find each individual song for itunes?

I ran out of room on my computer so I needed to move my music to my sd card. Each time I try to play a song on itunes it says it cannot be found. If I show itunes where my SD card is located it will play the song. However, I don't want to do this for each of my individual songs. How can I tell my itunes that all of my music is located on an SD card?

Sorry, I should have been clearer ... was your music previously located within the iTunes Media folder, by default C:\Users\username\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media)? If possible, you should move the music back to its original location, verify that your links have been restored (i.e., you can play songs without getting error messages) and then in iTunes:
update these settings in Edit > Preferences > Advanced:
Change this to be something similar on your SD card - ideally, you should have an iTunes folder in the root of the card, and an iTunes Media folder within this.
This setting will ensure iTunes manages the folder structure and files within the iTunes Media folder
This setting tells iTunes to copy any new additions to your library into the iTunes Media folder on the SD card.
If you are prompted to allow iTunes to reorganize files click No.
Now select File > Library > Organize Library... (click Ctrl-B first if you don't see the menu bar), and when you see this prompt:
check the Consolidate files box and, if not greyed out, the Reorganize files ... box, then click OK.
iTunes will now copy your music from its existing location(s) to the iTunes Media folder on your SD card
When this process completes, check that everything plays correctly, and also check a few songs (right-click > Get Info > File tab) to verify that the location information held by iTunes is on the SD card.
Once everything looks OK, you can delete the music files/folders from their original location(s) on the C: drive.
The underlying issue here is that iTunes doesn't keep track of the location of your media files if you move them yourself. The process described above uses iTunes to move the files, and therefore to update its database so that is has the correct locations.

I've wrapped my head around how to reclaim the stripped-out portion of an image that has been non-destructively cropped in CS6: click the image with the crop tool, or select Reveal All from the Image menu. Short of doing this every time I suspect that I may have cropped an image, is there anything in Photoshop's interface to tell me at a glance if the image has been non-destructively cropped? I guess I could check the document dimensions in the pop-up status display at the bottom of the window, but I'm looking for something more direct that doesn't make me search.

If you primarily edit files from a particular camera, then your idea to set the status box at the lower-left to show the image dimensions is a good one - just watch for dimensions that are not the norm.
You shouldn't have to set the readout to Document Dimensions more than once, though... Open one image, set that field to read Document Dimensions, then close the document and quit Photoshop gracefully. From now on it ought to read Dimensions when you open a new document.
I wasn't aware 10.8.1 was out.

It's not very likely that any harm came of this. It sounds as though they were trying to get your daughter to enter some personal information into the website. If she did not do this then don't lose any sleep over it.
If she did, just change whatever passwords that might have been associated with the personal information she provided.
If your computer starts exhibiting some heretofore strange behaviour, pay attention to it so that you might describe what it is. As I say this is unlikely to happen.

How do I tell iTunes that an app I bought is complete rubbish?

I bought an app that just doesn't work.
It doesn't do what it claims.
It jams.
It is quite useless.
I'd like to make sure that no-one else buys it or anything from that particular company.

Thank you. Unfortunately the reply from Apple said only that they had noted the problem and could/would do nothing. I should report it to the supplier. This is easier said than done, since the supplier has made it extremely difficult to find out how to make a contact.
I did manage eventually, but it seems as though I will be ignored.
So for the benefit of readers of this page, I will advise that the product is supplied by BibleStudy Pro.Com. It not only implies usage that is not true (you cannot enter English words, only transliterations of Hebrew words - and you have to work that out for yourself) it cannot find words, and usually just gives up and crashes.
I did, of course, place a review on the iPad, warning other interested people.

Select your device in iTunes.
Click the tabs across top and select what you want to sync.
Do the same for the other device.
You can creates playlists and sync only those playlists to each device.
Then add/delete from a playlist and items will be added/removed from the device you sync that playlist to.

How do I tell iTunes not to install on sync apps that I downloaded?

I upgraded my SSD on my Mac and I thought I'd download all my apps so they were backed up on my computer. However, now iTunes tries to install them all on my iPhone whenever I try to sync it. I don't have nearly enough space on my iPhone so I always get a bunch of "ghost" apps and an error message that my iPhone is out of space every time I sync. How do I tell iTunes not to attempt to install these on my iPhone on sync? The only options to choose from are "Install" and "Will Install".

I produce music in Logic Pro and later play in iTunes for additional listening and testing. How do I tell iTunes Match NOT TO UPLOAD certain songs or audio files? I have to continously delete files from the cloud.

Hi,
It's all or nothing with iTunes Match. If the track is a valid format it either matches or uploads.
Do you want to keep the tracks in itunes? If so, I suggest that you create a second blank library then turn on match. This will show all your tracks in the cloud. If a track uploads, you can delete it from the cloud using this new library. When you revert to your original library, the track will still be present but the iCloud status will now be "removed" instead of "uploaded". You can see iCloud status in song view by going to menu > view > view options and tick box. Match will now ignore this track when scanning your library.
