Hi,
How do I test a scenario without getting the other party involved?
I have created a scenario to receive information from an external system (Remedy), processing through a SoapAdapter into SAP to create a service order. How can I send a sample of information in order for me to test my scenario without asking the Remedy people to transmit data all the time?

Welcome to the Apple community.
Ideally you should each have your own iCloud account, providing you with your own contacts, calendars etc, not doing so will result in exactly what you have experienced. The contacts have likely been lost due to the options you have chosen at the login stage on each device.
Unless you have the missing contacts in a backup file, they won't be recoverable unfortunately. You can add them manually to the contracts that already exist and continue to share the iCloud account if you wish, but I suggest that you each have your own iCloud account.
Note, you can each have your own iCloud account, but continue to share an iTunes account for purchases of apps, books, music, TV shows etc etc.

What do you mean by deleting the account? One can't delete an Apple ID/iTunes account. One just stops using it.
Since yo can only have five computer authorized for one iTunes account you might want to deauthorize the computer for that account

Alert on a blocked screen but without identificating the other party?

Hi!
Anybody knows how to get an alert for an sms received or a missed callon a blocked screen, but without it identificating the other party?
Other phones had a light to warn you of an unseen event, but since the iPhone has no alerts like that, it means either you deactivate the alerts altogether (and then you have to go to your phone every 5 minutes, unlock the display, to see if there's any ocurrence in the main display) and it's uncomfortable, or else, anybody picking up the phone, even on a blocked screen, will be able to see who called or texted you!

And you're probably the one person who'd not be tempted, even by an automated reaction to the sound, to look to the screen of whatever phone beeped, vibrated, lighted, moved, whatever!
My contacts don't have to hide from others using alias, they just don't have to be shown...
I guess it's a difficult thing to understand nowadays, where facebooks, twitters and similar, make you know about somebody's day from his/her first yawn and morning stretch .
iPhone aims to take the best of all systems, but there are such simple and 'given thing' features with the other phones that it's funny why it can't be done with the iPhone; it'ss an evolution, meaning you take the best, leave the rest and make better.

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself independently backed up against loss. To use a device with a new computer you transfer the content from the old computer (or its backup) directly to the new computer, not the device to the new computer. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred to a computer. iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1848 - only purchases from iTunes Store For transferring other items from an i-device to a computer you will have to use third party commercial software. Manage Account does not appear in the options sync tab. How do I manage my account to get the recovery key?

I cannot sync my Firefox 18 desktop with iPad or iPhone browsers. I have tried everything suggested on the Web and have tried safe mode as well. When I enter the three-line synch code, I get a sync failure. I have deleted my account and then set up a new account without success. Manage Account does not appear in the options sync tab. How do I manage my account to get the recovery key?
I’ve spent hours on this and am considering using Chrome as my regular browser since I have no trouble syncing Chrome with apps. Help appreciated.

You can only inspect the sync key via manage account if this device is has been setup and is connected to the sync server.
You can find the sync account password and the sync (recovery) key in the password manager on computers where a sync account with a specific e-mail address has been set up.
Look for:
* chrome://weave (Mozilla Services Password)
* chrome://weave (Mozilla Services Encryption Passphrase)
You can look at this version of the about:synckey extension that I have modified to show the sync key in current Firefox versions (desktop and mobile).

How can I add new games without overwriting the old ones?

I have just purchased two new games in the itunes store and although they are showing in the library (under applications) my previously purchased games are not. In Summary under games it will not let me choose selected games only 'all games' and when I press sync warns that the existing games will be replaced. How can I add these games without deleting the older ones? Also if I did want to remove a game from my ipod how do I do it?

Clearly it ISN'T silly as it avoid issues like you are having right now. If you need more space, get an external hard drive. To me it is much sillier to only have your stuff on the iPod and no where else as the iPod, as a small portable player, is much more likely to be dropped, lost, damaged, stolen, forgotten somewhere, etc.
While I am not familiar with the use of games on the iPod (I have never bought any) you can switch the iPod to manually manage and then you can add content to your iPod without losing what is already there. Perhaps it works for games as well.
But long term, I strongly suggest you keep all your stuff in your library so if you need to (you have to perform a restore on the iPod, you lose it and buy a new one, etc.) you can very easily sync it all back to the iPod when needed.

What function should I use to receive the data of 30 channels without getting the front panel crowded? I´ve already done 30 controls simulating the multiplexer in the front panel, but how can I choose each channel in a way that the data from only this channel appear as I click in that control in the panel, and I can change that as I want during the acquisition.

Instead of 30 controls, always use an array of controls. This often simplifies the code dramatically. For example, here's a quick rewrite of Randall Pursley's example above using arrays (LV 8.0). The code is about 10x simpler.

How to clear a cursor list without clearing the first row??

Hi all, good to see ya ...
I'm having this problem , that i'm using the first row ín a cursor list as a cursor in another graph. The rest of the rows are used as test sets i can add. So when finnish with the tests if some was set, i have to delete or clear the cursorlist(but only the tests and not the first wich is the pointcursor) byy using the graphs cursor list proberty node ' Crsr.List ' and initialising it as showed in picture 1.
Picture 2 shows the cursor list with some test and the cursor name (point cursor) and properties at top. These properties are directly copied to another graph cursor list also at the top and there the point cursor is used as the cursor. The tests are also copied to the other graph cursor list, but when deleting the tests by 'clear button' all data are cleared also the point cursor. That is my problem.
so the question is, how can i clear a cursor list without clearing the first raw and its proberties. any suggestions would be much help for me.

The cursor list is just an array so you can delete the elements that you don't want.

How to getFocus in a ComboBox without choosing the inside data? Once I clicked on the ComboBox, I couldnt get the focus unless I choose the data inside. Although I had tried with many different types listeners, but still couldnt get it. Could anyone help me???

It is easier to work with the JComboBox in 1.4 for what you want to do.
But try this and see if it works for you. I added a FocusListener to all the other components on the panel, and had them close the combo box popup list. Now, if another component previously had the focus, it would take 2 clicks to have the combo box's list pop up. It's quite round-about, but it seems to work.
I also printed a message on the console.

You can have a different receiving email in the Messages app on each device : Settings > Messages > Receive At . I'm not sure that there is a different way to have the message only go to one device.

On each of the phones you're gonna use a new Apple ID for iCloud: turn off Contacts, Calendars, etc. for iCloud. You'll be prompted to keep the data or delete it from the phone, then turn off iMessage, FaceTime & delete the iCloud account...Settings>iCloud...scroll down...delete account. Then, setup iCloud using the new Apple ID, turn on iMessage & Facetime.
This will have no affect on the ID you share for iTunes content, & you can continue to do so.
