How do i tranfer files from my pc to my ipad?

how do i transfer documents from my pc to my ipad?

You can email documents, you can use a cloud service such as DropBox or you can use iOS file sharing - if you have an app that supports file sharing.
In order to edit and save documents on the iPad you must have an app that is compatible with the document or file that you want to transfer and save to the iPad. Documents are saved in the apps themselves.
There are MS Office compatible apps available in the app store like Quick Office Pro and Documents to Go. Apple also has their iWorks suite of apps, Pages, Numbers and Keynote that are compatible with the MS Office apps.
PDF files can be saved in apps like iBooks, Adobe Reader or GoodReader.

How can I transfer files from my mac to my iPad in an easier way?  I'd like to put some movies on, and I can use iTunes, but is there another way?  I have transferred epub books using Dropbox.  Movies eat up a lot of dropbox space and the iPad has trouble getting them.

USB disk. You still have to go through iTunes.
    Connect device to computer/mac
Select your device in iTunes menu.

  • How to transfer rmvb files from pc to the new ipad?

I just got the new ipad 3rd generation and this is my first ipad too.  How can I transfer rmvb files from PC to the new iPad?

Rmvb files are Real media (yuck) files and are designed to be only playable in Real media player(ewww).
They will not playback natively on the iPad.
You must either convert them(good luck finding something that will handle that garbage) or use a third party player from the app store.

    Exist some method?
If you know how to do it, please help me as faster as you can!
    THANK YOUU!!

    Hi,
Unfortunately general file transfer is not currently supported on iOS devices. If you have apps installed on your iPad that support file sharing, you can exchange files with these apps by connecting your iPad to your computer and selecting the Apps tab on the device's page in iTunes. If you scroll down here, you will find a list of apps, that support file sharing, and you can copy file to/from the particular app, but there's no way of accessing the iPad's file system without 3rd party software, and even if you use one, it will be able to access the file storage areas of the file system, but not the OS root folder. You need a jailbroken device to do that.
iTunes also copies all your photos and videos from your devices. The only official way of moving file between iOS devices is with iTunes. If you consider iTunes a software (it is one) than there's absolutely no way for that, if your device is not jailbroken.
Just to be clear, I'm against jailbreaking, because it makes your device vulnerable, and can create a lot of problems, that would not exist on a factory device.
    Hope this helps
    Regards,
    Gábor

  • How do I play files from my computer on my ipad?

I have several files on my Mac Pro in Itunes under playlists/music that I want to also play on my ipad. I did sync my ipad with  itunes on my computer, but these files don't show anywhere on the ipad. When I hit Music on the ipad I get a screen that says No Content-you can download from the itunes store. Where  are the files from itunes on my computer found on the ipad to play.

Sounds like you didn't actually sync.

  • How do u transfer a file from a desktop to an ipad?

I installed itunes and have the usb cable connected. I can see the ipad. How do i transfer files from my desktop to the ipad?

Depends what kind of files, you have to have apps that allow for file sharing in itunes. (if this is what you are refering to). Directions can be found in the help tab of the itunes toolbar.
Transfer files between your computer and mobile apps
If you have an iPod touch or iPhone with iOS 4 or later software, or an iPad, you can use iTunes to transfer files between your computer and an app on your device that supports file sharing.
You might want to do this if, for example, you want to save files you create on your device to your computer, or take files with you so you can use them when you’re away from your computer.
You don’t need to sync your device to transfer files, but your device needs to be connected to your computer.
For information about supported apps, see the documentation for your apps.

  • How to tranfer file from between two client?

    Hi, all:
I'd like to tranfer file from client A to client B. Basically, I will treat one of them is client and one of them is server, then create a server socket/socket connection, then they can conmmunicate. I know how to talk between them. However, I don't know how to trasfer file from client to server, or from server to client in the same class. I mean not two class: Server socket and client socket.
    Consider the following case:
There is a function, just like MSN file transfer: transfer file from localhost to "10.4.155.8". How can I transfer file from localhost to "10.4.155.8"?
    Help please.

    Hi, man:
    Thanks.
I agree with you at most.
I am doing my practise project: the other MSN Messenger and more, I will include file encryption and file decryption, etc.
My point is one connection will make center server too heavy. Then I have to adapt your first means:
promote either Client A or Client B become server, leave the other guy still being client, because I know their IP address. This will free the server a lot.
BTW, I finish my code pretty much, say 70%. However, I felt tired for coding. I have my full time job in software development at daytime. I am looking one or two guy to share this project. My point is to improve the performance of the this Messenger. I feel my code maybe work fine with hundred of con-current user, maybe not, or maybe more, not sure. My email: [email protected]. (I put my name means I am searious).
Could anyone feel he/she is good at Messenger, please email me, then we can share my code with you.

I'm beginning to think I will have to go out to purchase a new hard drive. Any recommendations on a good one?
There ia a very easy way to tranfer files from Mac to PC or PC to Mac. Very simple connect them to the same network (LAN), Log in to the other and select the files you want to copy an paste them to the other computer.
I do it all the time. From Mac to PC and PC to Mac.
No Problems at all. Much better then an external hard drive and moving it around. And No need to worry about drive format. Each OS takes care of that when files get copied over the network.

  • How to store multiple files from SAp in to Application server?

    Hi Guys,
Can anybody tell me how to store multiple files from SAP into Application server.in my application i have to get the data from SAP tables BSEG , BKPF , BSAK and BSIK that to daily i have to do.
Any Logic  or Code for how to do is welcomed.
                        plz help me urgently.
    Thanks,
    Gopi

    Hi,
directories creates basis. If you have task to store data in application server you already should have information into which folder you have to do it. If you don't have this information because it is just for example training for next task then you can use your personal folder into which you have access. To get list of all available folders please look at attached code and form get_directories (you get the list of folders you see in transaction AL11). But don't forget: If you are using open dataset you have to have rights to access application folder!
Here you are code which I use to upload text files from local disc into application folder
