How Do I Transfer A File to an NTFS External?
I finished with one of my movies and the final product is a little over 2GB's. It is stored an my external MAC journaled G-Drive. I am trying to load it to an NTFS drive for somebody else to view it and use it on a Windows PC.
Mac can READ but not WRITE to NTFS, is there a work around?

Dragging and dropping files from one drive to another will work. Having said that however, you need to be aware that trying to copy items with the same name will result in a warning dialog box offering several different options including canceling.
To better help you it would also be helpful to know about the external drive. Did you use TimeMachine to back up to that external drive? Did you copy files from another computer to the drive? -

Actually, you can use iCloud and the way that you so it is to log into iCloud.com on the Mac (use Safari for best results) click on the Pages icon and then drag the Pages files into the browser window. It works the other way around as well. Log into iCloud.com on the Mac and download the files from Pages (that you created on the iPad) in iCloud onto your Mac. You can click on the file in the documents window and select it to Download by clicking on the Gear icon or right click upon the file and select download.
The files will then sync to the Pages app on the iPad - assuming hat you have use iCloud tuned on in Settings>Pages>Use iCloud>On. I have an iMac running Tiger 10.4.11 that I can still move Pages/Word files back and forth Iike this.
Also, File Sharing with iTunes is a great way to move the files back and forth.

How do I transfer PDF files from PC (Windows 7) to IPAD using Itunes 12.1.2. I would like to do files manually rather then auto synch. Previous versions let me drag file in Itunes to Ipad and files appeared under Ibook and then I could move them to an appropriate collection title. The interface appears to have changed in the latest ITunes version and I am not sure what the proper procedure is.
King_Penguin - Thanks it worked perfectly. I had my pdf files copied into ITunes on my PC but when I clicked on a pdf file to copy it I thought the sidebar would appear with my IPAD name and then I would drag it over. I didn't realize that I needed to click-and start dragging it towards the left-hand side for the sidebar to appear. It worked like a charm - THANKYOU!!!

If they don't digital-rights-management on them (if they do then check the site that you got them from for which apps you can use for them on your iPad) then you can add them to your computer's iTunes library via the File > Add To Library menu option - if using a Mac with OS X Mavericks on it then add them to its iBooks app via File > Add To Library.
Then connect your iPad to your computer and select it in your computer's iTunes, and use the Books tab to select and sync the epubs to your iPad's iBooks app -
