How do I transfer Acrobat X Pro from my old to my new laptop
Please help
You will need
1. The install media (original CD, a backup of it, or the downloaded installer)
2. The serial number.
3. If it was an upgrade, the OLD serial number.
If possible, deactivate on the old computer (try from the Help menu).
Install on new computer. It may say "too many activations" so be prepared to call Adobe to sort this out.

How can I move Acrobat 9 Pro from my old MacBook to a new one?
Hi there,
How can I move Acrobat 9 Pro from my old MacBook to a new one?
Thanks!Hi cialbert,
Do you have the install media? If not, you can download Acrobat from here: Download Acrobat products | 9, 8 - Adobe. You'll need your Acrobat serial number (see Find your serial number quickly - Adobe).
Note, as well, that the licensing agreement allows you to activate the software on up to two computers. If you've already activated it on two computers, deactivate on one before installing on the new computer (see Activation & Deactivation Help).
I think that should take care of it! Please let us know if you need additional help.
Best,

You de-activate the software on the first machine. Then use the Installer DVD or downloaded installer file that you have archived for safe keeping on the second computer.

How do i transfer my itunes library from an old to a new ipod
How do i upload my existing itunes library form my old ipod to a new one?
This is the method I would normally recommend:
Backup with this User Tip, restore the library to the new computer using the same tool, keep the backup up-to-date in future. Deauthorize the old computer if you no longer need to access protected content on it.
You can use your iPod classic to move your library to a new computer but if you don't already have a backup copy of the library (and your other important data) now is the time to think about it.

How to transfer Acrobat X Pro from dead PC to new PC
How to transfer Acrobat X Pro from dead PC to new PC
Hi J6267t,
Wecome To The Forums
Please Follow the Steps mentioned below and let us know if it works for you.
Step 1
Install Acrobat on your new computer. For example, use the software installation disc or download an installation file from the My Adobe website.
Step 2
Run Acrobat on your new computer, enter your serial number when prompted by Adobe, and then click the "Activate" button. Acrobat will attempt to communicate your licensing information with its servers.
Step 3
Click "Help" in the top file menu of Acrobat and then click "Activate." If only "Deactivate…" is available, then your software has been activated successfully.
Thanks!

How do I transfer Adobe X1 Pro from one computer to another?
How do I transfer Adobe X1 Pro from one computer to another?
Transferring between machines will not work. You need to install using installation files and your serial number. Here is a download link...
Acrobat XI, X - http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html
Find your serial number quickly
You are allowed to have two machines with activated installations, so you can keep the original installation intact if you prefer. If not, be sure to deactivate it (choose Help -> Deactivate from the main menubar) -
How do I transfer my iTunes library from my old computer to my MacBook Pro?
How do I transfer my iTunes library from my old computer to my MacBook Pro?
Just copy the entire Music folder from the old Mac to the new Mac, then click on the folder and Get Info and change the permisisons and click the spoke to "apply to enclosed items"
Ideally it's best to use the same user name on the new machine, this way all your iTunes playlists work and there is no need to change permissions.
You can create the same named user by creating another account in System Preferences >accounts
If the old computer is a PC then just copy the old Music folder to the Mac onto the desktop, then use iTunes to import the music files.
If the old comptuer is dead, then you can extract the hard drive(if it's still working) and use a IDE/SATA to USB adapter cable to access the internal drive.
Mac's should be able to read NTFS format of PC's, just not write to it. But if it's not working there is software to install to allow the Mac to read that NTFS drive format, just search online. -

iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1848 - just media purchased from iTunes Store
i-devices are intended to by synced with iTunes (iTunes --> device), not transfer things to iTunes. For transferring songs from i-device to computer see commercial software utilities (with the exception of iTunes purchases). Examples (check the web for others; this is not an exhaustive listing):

How do I transfer all my stuff from my old mac to my new one?
got a new macbook pro today, how do i transfer all the information from my old macbook to this new one? I don't really know what time machine is other than it makes backups, so will time machine help me accomplish what im trying to do? if not, what else can i do that is inexpensive.
thanks!Simplest is to startup the new machine and when the setup assistant asks if you want to transfer stuff from another computer, say yes, hook up the old one, and follow the instructions. Any other procedure, and there are many, are more time-consuming and don't do the job any better than that. BTW, that should be described in the little manual that came with the machine.

How do I transfer my iTunes library from an old, slow pc laptop to a new(er), faster pc laptop? Do I have to make a copy of the iTunes library on the old pc laptop and re-install it on the new(er) pc laptop? Is it something that can de done using the actual iPod itself?
This is the method I would normally recommend:

How can I transfer all my info from my old mac to a new one?
how can I transfer all my info from my old macbook to my mac mini?
My Mac mini chash about one month ago and I got it back from apple, I didnt have a time michine back up for this one but in my old mac I have almost all my files, so I want to transfer all the data to the Mac mini with no problemYou can use migration assitant which is located in the Utility Folder under Applications. The compters can be connected via ethernet, fire wire, or wifi. My recommendation is not to use wifi.
You run migration assistant on both machines and you can choose to transfer everything or just data.
Another way is to use migration assistant to restore from a time machine backup. -

got a new laptop and need to transfer two usernames to it, complete with all documents help?Assuming you haven't already set up a user, the easiest way is to use the Setup Assistant during first boot of the new Mac, with the two Macs connected by firewire.
You'll be prompted to migrate from a choice of sources - choose "from another Mac", select the catagories of data you want to transfer and follow the instructions.
