How do I transfer all music in itunes on my iphone to itunes on my macbook pro
I want to transfer/backup all music on my iphone itunes to my macbook pro itunes. How can I do this?
The iPhone is not a storage/backup device. The music sync is one way - computer to iPhone. The only exception is iTunes purchases. File>Devices>transfer Purchases

To ensure my old iPhon4 was backed up i...
1. Deleted the iPhone4 backup from iTunes prefs(devices)
2. I then sycnched the iPhone4 to get a new backup of the old Phone.
I then installed my new iPhone5 from the fresh backup of the old iPhone4
This way i got my new iPhone5 exactly as my old iPhone4
Screens all looked the same, EVERYTHING the same.
Some minor adjustments were needed afterwards.

Thank you!!I don't believe there will be an iPhone with storage capacity equivalent to the iPod Classic anytime soon - at least not within the next month, or even this year or the next.
The iPod Classic has a hard drive. The iPod Touch and iPhone have Flash storage. Flash storage is more expensive than the hard drive equivalent, but the cost for Flash storage is coming down - supply an demand is probably helping this. The iPod Touch has double the storage capacity of the largest iPhone storage capacity since the iPod Touch doesn't include a cell phone - the case has more room for two 16GB Flash drives. More than likely there will be a 32GB iPhone at some point, but I believe it will be a while before we see a 64GB iPhone or larger approaching the storage capacity that is available with an iPod Classic. -

It is important to make a backup of your iTunes Music Library. In case of data loss, including hard drive failure or replacement, accidental deletion, and so forth, you'll be able to restore it from your backup. -
