How do I transfer all my apts from old iphone to my new iphone?

How do I transfer all my apps from old iphone to iphone 4?

Connect the old iPhone to your computer, launch iTunes, select the iPhone under Devices on the left side of the iTunes window.
Select Apps from the menu, select the Sync Apps box, then click Sync.
Once you have synced your apps in iTunes connect the new iPhone then sync the apps.

Assuming that the iPod is an iPod Touch - Restore the new iPad from a backup of the iPod and follow that with a sync with iTunes.
Connect the iPod to your computer and launch iTunes. Right click on the iPod name under devices and select transfer purchases. After that completes, right click on the iPad name again and select backup. Eject the iPod.
Connect the iPad to your computer and launch iTunes if it is not already running. If prompted to set up as new or restore from a backup - select the backup of the iPod. If not prompted, right click on the iPad name on the left under devices and select - restore from backup. Select the iPod backup in the pop up window. Let the process complete and then sync with iTunes.

how do i transfer already purchased songs from my computer to my new iPhone

Connect the phone to your computer and select it on the left-hand sidebar of your computer's iTunes (if the left-hand sidebar isn't showing then control-S should get it to show) and then use the Music tab on the right-hand side of the iTunes screen to select the music that you want in the phone's Music app and and sync/apply that selection.
If you haven't synced the phone to that computer before then you might also find this page useful : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3141

  • How can I transfer all my data from my Pearl to my new Curve 8320?

Help! I have a Mac and have downloaded every bit of software/manual/information/help that I can find and still can't figure out how to transfer all my data from my dying Pearl 8100 to my new Curve 8320. Any suggestions?

    Hi Vanessa,
There are two ways to solve your problem.
    1) Configure the birthday and anniversary events you have created for last year so that they repeat every year on the same date.
    2) Enter the birthdays in your Address Book for the corresponding contacts — create the contacts if you don't have them in your Address Book yet — and then tell iCal to display the birthday calendar.
    Hope this helps

  • How do I transfer ALL partitioned drives from old mbp to new, with ethernet / migrate assistant, aside from only main mac HD partition?

    Hi there
Does anyone know how I can migrate ALL of the partitioned drives from my old macbook 17 inch to new macbook 2013?
Seems like it only transfers the Macintosh HD drive - ie the user account - and I can't figure out how to transfer the rest of the partitioned drives?
I am using an ethernet cable with thunderbolt adapter. (I don't have a thunderbolt firewire adapter to use a firewire cable in disc target mode - hoping I can perform the FULL transfer using just the ethernet cable?
but no additional options for transferring additional drives show up when I use Migrate assistant?
    Thanks
    T

You can't use Migration Assistant to transfer files to OS X Mountain Lion from Mac OS X Tiger. See > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4889?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US
What you have to do is to connect both Macs with FireWire, put the old one in Target Disk mode (hold the T key while the Mac mini is starting) and use Finder to restore the data you need manually. Another option is to transfer your files over the network > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1549

  • How can I transfer all my music from 2nd gen iPod Touch to iPhone 5?

When I connect my iPhone 5 to my MacBook Pro (Model MacBookPro2,2) running OS X 10.7.5 and iTunes 10.7 and try to sync, only my recently purchased music is copied to the iPhone.  Is there a way to directly transfer  ALL my music, currently contained on my 2nd ge neration iPod Touch (running iOS 4.2.1) or my first generation iPad to the iPhone 5?

It needs to be stored on your Mac and in iTunes firs before it can be synced over to your iPhone 5.
If all the content you want to sync to the iPhone 5 are purchases from the iTunes Store, you can redownload them all via iCloud directly from the iPhone assuming you live in a country where iCloud has gone live.
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If it's non iTunes store purchased content that is no longer stored in iTunes on your Mac, you'll need to the help of third party software to help you get the job done. See this excellent user tip from another forum member turingtest2 outlining the different methods and software available to help you copy content from your iPod back to your PC and into iTunes.

You have to move your songs on your iPod touch to iTunes, then synch your iPhone to that iTunes library.  No other way to do this

  • Just bought a new computer How do I get all my music from old computer to the new one?

Bought a new computer with Windows 8.  How do I get all the music off my old computer transferred to the new one.  All the music on the old computer is in the cloud.

Copy the entire iTunes folder from your old computer to your new one using one of the methods discussed here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4527.

Copy what you want from the old computer's Home folder to the external drive. Connect the drive to the new computer and restore that data to the proper locations in the new computer's Home folder.

  • How do I transfer all my music from my macbook to my new iMac?

I used migration assitant, it seemed to work but I can't see any files from macbook in imac. Really just want all my music duplicated so its on the imac also.

I have never used Migration assistant but from my remembering what was said here it may set things up in a new account on your computer.  If all you want is iTunes and you want it in that account:
Quick answer if you use iTunes' default preferences settings:  Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive.  Open iTunes and immediately hold down the Option (alt) key (shift on Windows) so you get a prompt to select a library, then guide it to the iTunes Library.itl file in the moved iTunes folder.
If you put the copied iTunes folder in the default location of Macintosh HD > Users > *User Name* > Music  then you don't even need to start with the option key held down, iTunes will automatically look for it there.  (Make sure there isn't anything already in the iTunes folder there that you want to keep since you will be replacing it with the one you are moving.)

  • How do I play all my songs from a specific genre on new Iphone IOS 7?

Before the upgrade to IOS 7, I could play only the songs from a specific genre. Now, I cannot find any options that will let me do that.

    Hello bulten2112,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
To get your previously purchased content into iTunes you can go about it two different ways.  The first way and preferred method is to download your previous purchases.  The second option is to transfer your purchases from a device.
Download past purchases - Apple Support
Re-download or transfer your iTunes Store purchases from an iPhone, iPad or iPod to a computer - Apple Support

How can I transfer all iTunes purchases from one apple id to another?

Don't agree. I have two accounts, one for work which I set up years ago and bought a few tracks. I've recently bought iPhone and iPad and created a home ID and wanted to transfer the old purchaces. Everyone says it can't be done, but I've done it.
    1. on the iPhone/iPad change your "store" Apple ID to the one you want ot transfer from.
    2. go into iTune on the device and download the purchaces.
    3. on you PC/Mac change the iTunes login to the same as the device's ID
    4. sync your device
    5. change both ID's back and the purchaces stay on both iTunes and your device.
    Delmar,
The procedure you describe is putting content from two different IDs into a single library, which can readily be done.
However, each item of purchased content will still be tied to the ID from which it was originally purchased, and they will be treated separately for purposes of Cloud, Match, Purchase History, etc.
